      They are scammers. I will never use this website anymore. I paid $112 for an IPL fascial, after paying I tried to get contact with the merchant, I cant get a hold from them, I opened a dispute with PayPal because i paid with PayPal, they denied it saying I used the service since I didnt. I went to the salon in person the lady told me I am not eligible for this service because I have light skin and cant work for me. She told me to use my computer and request a refund from Groupon, the person who was chatting with me was horrible, unprofessional and disrespectful. He told me I cant get my money back because I opened a case about it. The case were close with PayPal so I had to call PayPal back to reopen the case to get my money. This was frustrating and will never recommended this website to nobody.

      I purchased one ***************** TradeWind Sailing Trip for Two assuming the expiration was from one year from the purchase date. However, upon receiving an email, I was notified it was 90 days from the purchase date. Note: I have screen shot of final purchase with no indication of an expiration date anywhere. Only when I received an email was there any indication of an expiration date. I mentioned this to Groupon customer service representative and they told me I needed to read the fine print. AGAIN... the fine print did not show up until AFTER purchase and after I received a confirmation email. Why so much ambiguity? We're simply not going to be in ****** during this time and the voucher is essentially worthless. Further, Groupon **************** seemed to give me an attitude as if I didn't know what I was talking about. I have screenshot to prove. This was purchased through an advertisement. Will provide screenshot of purchase to credit card company. It is also worth noting. I cannot write a negative review on their site. Everything on their site has so called "positive" reviews. Googling other review sites speaks volumes for this company.

      Groupon can be caught not living up to their word. I bought a Groupon while on a trip to *****. It was for an evening cruise. When I went to use it, the vendor said the cruise was overbooked and I couldn't use it. So, I contacted Groupon and they offered a trade-in but said if I never found anything, they would refund my money. Well, instead of refunding my money, they extended the use period on the original cruise Groupon. I do not live in *****, so I have no use for an extension. They should have refunded my money originally if now they do not want to. Beware of this tactic. Always get your money back first

      I've been using Groupon for years. I used my first Groupon back in the early 2010s. This experience has REAL soured my taste about Groupon. First off, they don't have a customer service number anymore. Anything is through email and they WILL take 24 hours to reply. Second, are their default response no? Because I have to go to desktop, find out all the information then just have them to give me the run around after 4 days. All I wanted to do was trade in a deal I no longer want to use but the trade in option wasn't available anymore. I have read and screenshot that the deal is eligible for trade in. Then they told me trade in is only good for 3 days (which is completely untrue. I have read and screenshot that and emailed it back to them. Let's see what they say right now. Either way after this I will NOT be using Groupon again. I'd spend that extra money to not deal with this.

      Recently in the first week of June, Ive purchased a Groupon for a medical situation I needed it for. After purchasing within a week, the voucher was listed as redeemed without my knowledge. I have attempted to contact Groupon and also the Merchent to ask why the Groupon says redeemed without my knowledge of it occurring. Groupon said that they cannot do anything unless I contact the merchant to refund it. I cannot believe that this happened after purchasing the Groupon with th in a week. How was it marked redeemed very shortly after without my knowledge? I am requesting a refund or otherwise I will take my business elsewhere and report this situation. I paid and never redeemed it. Yet, it says that it has been redeemed. *** attempted to reach out to customer service of this medical clinic and they are ignoring the messages.

      A valid refund took a month of emails, multiple chat agents and finally forced me to go full ***** and harass their support agents to get a refund they had already emailed that they would issue actually put into my balance. They seem to scam on refunds hoping you will let it go and require you to harass them and jump through multiple hoops trying to extend the resolution time by saying they will return your chat by email in 7 days or 24 hours but they never respond or they never help you. Use another service. I was only issued my refund after hounding multiple chat agents and refusing the end the chats until they issued the refund already promised. After I spend this refund balance I will not ever do business with Groupon again.

      Id give zero stars if I could! I purchased a cleaning service Groupon and was scammed by this non-existing company. I immediately contacted Groupon and they told me I had to get it in writing from the merchant that I had not received any cleaning service from them. How am I supposed to get a response from someone that scammed me!?? All reviews on the cleaning service also said they were scammed (these were posted after I purchased). I asked Groupon for a refund and to remove the post to prevent others from being scammed. I went back and forth for weeks after Groupon said this has been escalated. Finally 2-3 weeks later I contacted them again only to be told they cant refund me and only can give me a credit. I never want to use them again as their customer service is horrible and they dont stand by their customers if/when they are scammed on their site. I will be issuing a fraudulent claim with my bank since Groupon refused to help me. I will never purchase from them again!!!

      I purchased me and my wife two tickets to Drunken Shakesphere, coming to a total of about $106. I never received the voucher tickets in the mail, and I talked to two agents who have informed me about the no refund policy. So basically Groupon has a nice little grifting program going on to get extra cash. First and last time Ill ever f*** with them.

      Groupon is a scam, you either can't get appointments with merchants or they product is of no value when you try to use it.
