Go to a different dealer! They had a camper listed for a set price, we set up a time to look at it. Prior to ** seeing it they put it through the shop. We look at it go to buy the camper, cash sale and the price changed! They add another grand to the price. On top of this they told us the fridge did not work and they ordered a new one and it would be replaced. As we were looking at it with a a tech, I mentioned this and in front of the sales man and he said no they didnt.. and then the sales man back tracked and said he was doing it right now Needless to say I asked for a refund for my deposit and we left. Plenty of other dealers out there. Go somewhere that s honest and has integrity.. ***

Picked up pull behind on Thursday, March 21st, 2024.We drove 200 miles after financing was done. we had to transfer items from one camper to another and was promised help to do that. We went back to transfer, and everyone was gone except for the 2 young ladies in the office who helped us move. I had just had knee replacement, so I couldn't do much. We called the dealership to ask why there wasn't any help, and they called the manager who said he would be there in 10 minutes. 1 hour later, once most was done, he showed up. We finally got to the campground a mile up the road and, in the pouring rain, discovered a leak at the slide.Friday, my husband called to advise and was told someone would call him. No one called.Saturday, we were getting to leave, and he took the cap off to dump, and the black tank was open and dumped all over him. The pull handle for the black tank was broken. The dealership charged some ridiculous fees for PDI, and obviously, it wasn't done.My husband had heart bypass a few years ago, and I was terrified he was going to have a heart attack because his blood pressure was so high.We will be contacting the manufacturer and a personal injury attorney.Do not give these people your business!! They literally take your money and run!

We had an absolute horrible experience with everyone at the Spartanburg SC location. As stated in previous reviews everyone lies and when you go there to look at the RV no one knows what is going on. We were told that we would have to pay a $500 hold fee to look at the RV because they only had 2 in stock. We reluctantly paid the fee because we knew we wanted a Brinkley RV and this was the closest dealership to where we were at the time. We set up an appoint to see the RV and nobody was there to show us the RV. The sales manager said he would be there to show us the RV because our sales rep was out that day. Finally we were told by the receptionist that the RV can be previewed. We went out and looked at the RV after about 30 minutes another sales rep showed up, but he did not want to help us. He couldn't answer questions and would not go over any of the features of the RV. We should have just left at that point, but we didn't because we really wanted the Brinkley RV and wanted it quickly. So we proceeded with the purchase. No one wanted to help us (our sales person was out and we never saw him) so we ended up speaking with the finance guy (John) which was a big mistake since he continually told us lie after lie. Unfortunately we agreed to purchase the RV from Blue Compass (we are full of regrets). They make you pay a $695 fee for prep and inspection which was a joke. The person that showed us the RV was not that knowledgeable and only covered some of the RV features. The RV was not cleaned properly and there were items that did not work correctly (not sure how they passed the BC inspection), we have contacted Brinkley directly and they are helping us resolve the issues. It took all day for the BC team to process the paperwork and transition of ownership. We arrived at 9 am and did not leave until 3:30 PM. Needless to say it was an exhausting day filled with frustration. So many issues to go into now. Our advise is just don't do it.

By far, the worst company I ever attempted to do business with! These guys literally tried to force me to buy a camper without even looking at it..Every person I talked to there from the guy over the phone, to the sales guy, to the general manager all lied directly to us. In the store, they lied directly to our face! I told them I was interested in the camper as long as I could verify that everything worked and that I would come down there to see. I asked them to have it hooked up, and they said they they would have it ready. When I got there and asked to see it? They said it was back in service. We told 4 separate people that we had to engage with that. We were not buying the camper without inspecting. It is included finance that they made us do in advance. When we came out of finance They then said I could not go back to service and the paperwork I had signed. I agreed I was buying the camper as is. The general manager, ****, then stated I am the one that agreed to the terms. They said if I would pay their customer prep of $695, it is the only way I could inspect a unit before purchase. This would be like buying a car and the seller telling you you could not test drive it. I made them shred the contract in front of me. Because after so many lies, I was worried about them putting something on my credit. This is by far the shadiest place I have ever attempted to do business with. When I told the sales person, *****, he should not tell someone over the phone That they can come in and look at the camper, the general manager, **** grabbed the sales person and told me not to talk to him and that we were done. He and the salesperson went into the office and shut the door. I could go on with additional details, but all I can tell you is every person we spoke with, flat-out lied, and it blows my mind that anyone would go and purchase something like this without being allowed to look at it. Buyer beware is not harsh enough. I would say avoid these crooks at all cost!

I would give less stars than 1 if I could!I agreed to trade my class b in for a newer class b. BC asked me for a deposit of $2500.00 with no paperwork. I gave them the $2500.00 deposit and waited to hear from them as to when the vehicle would be transferred into the local dealership, After a day or so, I didn't hear from anyone and checked the BC website to see if the vehicle was still listed on their site. It was not! Normally they **** vehicles pending or sold but this one was removed entirely from their website. Please know there was NO paperwork sent or signed by either party. For some reason I checked RV Trader to see what other like class b's were selling for...Low and behold, there was the BC class B I placed a deposit on for 6K LESS than they offered the vehicle to me for!! I contacted BC and asked them to honor the price change and they said the price change was done in error and they would offer me that same price but would NOT give me the trade allowance they offered me for my class B. This to me, was dirty business and they knew it!!! I asked *********************** ( manager in area ) for my deposit back and he told me it may take up to 30 days...UNACCEPTABLE on every level!! Please consider whether you want to work with BC in *******....Probably a bad idea...THANKS for reading. Fairly obvious BC and ********************* are used to poor reviews as you can see to their pathetic rating..

Be wary of purchasing here. I found them to be both dishonest and incompetent. Im out of state and purchased a used camper/trailer at the end of the year. Before my purchase *******. **** told me the furnace turns on simply by adjusting the thermostat. Also wiring and safety equipment was represented to be working. Otherwise it was as is, without an expensive extended warranty. After driving over 2 hrs to pick it up, the camper wasnt ready. Another 2 hrs before passed I was able to take the camper. The next day I found the furnace fuse was removed, leaving a broken furnace and dangerous ventilation issue. When I contacted **** he wrote The camper was purchased as-is. I was unaware of any furnace defect. I would have assumed that would be demonstrated at the time of pickup. Our dealership will not be covering any costs. Then when I went to register the camper DMV showed me that the dealership erroneously listed me as the seller. I resolved it myself and waited to write this review to avoid title issue repercussions from the dealership. They are bad news!

I called *************** service three times before I could get someone to answer and that was only becasue I then asked to speak to the service manager. He didn't seem to have a clue about maintenance, but would speak to his mechanic and call me back in 30 minutes. 3 days have passed and I've tried getting back to him via voice mail as he never answers the phone. I've asked for GM to call me, but again no luck in getting a call back. Small wonder why these jerks have a BBB rating of D- !!Stay away from them and keep your sanity.

I went to purchase a simple drawer latch. The price I previously paid from another dealer was $6.95 two weeks ago. I went to Blue Star and they had the identical part marked at $15.95. However. The cashier rang it up and said it would be $24 plus. I pointed out that the part was marked $15.95 and she agreed to sell it to me at the Old price. I bought more of the same part online for less than $2 each today. They Overcharge for every thing.I purchased propane from Blue Star (the price was not posted) Thank goodness I only needed a few gallons. They charged me $4 a gallon. By comparison across the street from Blue Star they charge $2.50 a gallon.I am not returning to Blue Star again for anything. We were considering purchasing another RV, but it certainly wont be from Blue Star.If I could give Blue Star a negative Gold Star I would ****************************, **

Purchased a 5th wheel from them in good faith. Yes, its used. They did not tell me I could have it inspected prior to purchase. They assured me that my son with multiple major health issues and myself would be safe and happy in our new home. This is OUR HOME. Not a fun something for weekends. WE LIVE HERE! Im looking at over $2800 in repairs that need to be done and should have been done before they turned the ** over to me. The manager told me he would OUT OF COURTESY only charge me $1100 to fix what they neglected. CHARGE ME for their laziness. They are out for one thing, to make a buck. Its a shame; their sales **** ******* was wonderful. He continues to be available if I need to ask a question. DO NOT BUY AN ** FROM THIS COMPANY. They dont deserve your hard earned money.
