      I booked a car from Asheville NC to Harrisburg PA for 9/25/22 10am......showed up only to be told they didn't have a car for me. UNACCEPTABLE!!! She said they were expecting a car back that didn't get returned. Your confirmation number mean NOTHING!!! She offered to call me when the car came back. NOPE. I rented a car from Avis....for less money.

      Had a Priceline quote fulfilled by Hertz at PNS in ********* on 9/22/2022. We were 3rd in line and all were moved through quickly. ****** was quick, friendly and thorough in explaining our options and adding an additional driver. Very professional and was a positive start to our stay.

      Wish I could give zero stars. I booked my rental car 3 weeks in advance. Show up at my assigned time only to be told they didn't have a car for me. The one I was supposed to get was supposedly in a wreck and I couldn't use it because the bumper might fall off. There was no alternative solutions. Oh, I could rent a car one way for 1 day for $200. What good would that do me? I'm going on a cruise. Worst dealing ever with rental company. Awful customer service. What's happened to businesses actually caring about their customers? I won't ever use them again. Just awful. And if course no other companies had a car at the lady minute. ??

      BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE Deception We rented a car on line for a few days for $351.16. When we got to the airport to rent the car the rental agent asked if we wanted the basic coverage or the upgraded coverage. I said the basic. Next thing I know were being charged additional $130 for 2 days. We called immediately to ask why it was additional $130 but couldnt get through. Emailed customer service and they wouldnt budge. We were deceived thinking basic coverage would be the same coverage we asked for online. Make sure you are aware of what they are charging for and why. Seems like they want to upgrade services at time of purchase. Not sure if agent gets commissions for upscale. Beware

      They currently have $1300 of my money tied up in authorization holds, some extending for almost a month. I work for the Uber driver program and this is turning into a gigantic nightmare because they will not release my funds back to me. None of their staff is helpful or for that matter, coherent.

      Mechanicsburg Hertz is a terrible place to rent from. Had to make sure the car was spotless or you’re charged a cleaning fee. Started out didn’t get the car promised. Had to take what they had or do without a rental car. Had to cancel our credit card to stop Hertz from charging it. Just beware when renting from Hertz.

      What a debacle, was supposed to pick up my car rental at 10:30 a.m. and we did not leave till 3:00 p.m. The company over booked cars and people did not have cars to drive after they processed their cards. I missed my engagement plans and had to scramble the next day to make something out of nothing in Napa. I was told I was going to get a refund on my rental, and I’ve been getting the run around since I got back to Florida august 21st, they only offered me $100.00 voucher after I wouldn’t get off the phone and asked for a higher up. They initially offered me only $25.00? Wow, thanks for not even being human and realizing how big of a mistake you’ve made and treat your patrons like dirt. Never again will I rent hertz and make sure every one of my friends does not rent hertz.

      2 wks wait rental car, next 5-7 days 1 car available $200 deposit, plus mileage, plus daily rate went uhaul called phone reservation they held box truck fyi rent daily, and weekly think this way luxury might be expected, benefit no drama, plus always sort vehicle available Hertz computer locks reservation system 3 wks row.

      horrible!!! will never rent a car with this company again charged me 500$ deposit i can deal with that had to extend my rental date and charged me extra 100$ without a notice mind you for another deposit! then returned car clean and full of gas they charged my card extra 400$ saying a smoking fee which i do not smoke i only drove and my 2 kids rode in back!! still have no explanation t where my 600$ deposit is and why they took 400$ extra for something that is not true!! this company is ridiculous will never rent from here again!!! returned car 3 days ago still no deposit returned. what exactly is hertz plan about my 1000$ thats alot of money. this place is a scam do not rent from here!!!!!

      Hertz/dollar literally just drew about $1000 from my CC and told me to go pound sand on a car we never received. Leaving my wife stranded and our special needs household minus critical funds. If I could tag them here I would but as it sits there appears to be zero recourse. Facebook even limited my postings to their pages so I can’t leave reviews. The staff were hostile and laughing as they refused to call for a manager and told us to leave.
