      My home was on the market, so I called and asked how I could either discontinue or transfer my service to my new home. I was told that yes, they could see the house was on the market, and to cancel it, I would need to provide them with a bill of sale. Since the house was taking a long time to sell, I continued to pay for the service even though no one lived there and I decided to rent the house. I also left all of the equipment at my house since they told me I could not bring it with me. Once the house sold, I contacted them to see how to send them the bill of sale so I could cancel my service. I had now moved into an apartment, and could not transfer this service to my new residence. I was then informed that providing a bill of sale would not cancel me from my contract. They even went back and listened to the audio recording, and yes, they confirmed that I WAS told by their sales associate that all I needed to do was submit my bill of sale of the house and my contract would be over. But, they would not honor this offer and said the sales person gave me "incorrect" information. They stated that I had to continue to pay my monthly fee of $59 a month, or pay a cancellation fee of over $3,000! The cancellation fee was for the "rental of the equipment", which I had now left in a different state because they told me I couldn't bring it! So, at this point, I have equipment in another state in a house I no longer own, paying for a service that no one is using, and I will do so for the next five years. As a "consolation", they offered to install new equipment at my new house, free of charge, and to transfer the monthly service over. But I have to re-start my 6 year contract all over again. It's been a few weeks since I signed that new contract, and no one has reached out to me about installing my equipment at my new house, and I am still paying for a service at a house I do not live in. Stay far, far away from this company.

      Horrible and fraudulent company that will trick you into a 5 year contract renewal with them. I thought I was signing for the system they installed at my house. They never specified that it was a WHOLE 5 YEAR CONTRACT!! Made it seem like it was a receipt so didn’t even bother reading the fine print because I had been using them for so many years and trusted them. Just for me to move out of state to an apartment complex and try to cancel and be told I have to keep paying monthly for 3 MORE YEARS without using or needing the service or have anyone to transfer it to. Really disgusted by this company and they deserve to be completely out of business. Hope their workers can find reputable companies to go work for instead.

      I have made reports about their fraudulent business activities to both IC3 - Internet Crime and also the Attorney General's office. They sold it for 3 years but extended it to 5 without Dad's knowledge. He had an alarm going off for hours so called and was told he did not have a warranty so they'd charge him $89 an hour to fix it. They refused to do anything other than sell him a warranty for $10 more a month and an extended the contract. He's 81 and on a fixed income so under 100% DURESS he had to agree to get them to come out and stop the alarm without charging him $89 hour. All the service tech did (a year and a half ago) was 'disarm' the system. They refuse to cancel the service that is not even functional and sends false alerts to both Police and Fire Departments in the area. We want it removed from our home. It is completely useless to us. The system remains 'Disarmed' because we cannot use it and they're still charging us.

      Charged me a warranty, failed to repair my equipment for more than 5 mos. I quit paying the bill so then they start calling asking why. But tell me there are no repair techs in my area. Now they want to turn me over to collection unless I sign another contract. They are a fraud and a scam and they do not stand behind their equipment nor uphold their end of the contract. DO NOT SIGN WITH SAFE HOME SECURITY.

      I agree with ALL the comments below. This company is a fraud. I have been trying to cancel my service (my contract ended on 9/30/2024) since July 2024. I contacted this company 4 times, before 9/30 by phone and in writing and each time I was told something different. First time they said "I'll make a note". Second time they said "OK". Third time I was told to go to their website and put the cancellation request in writing (which I did). Fourth time they found no record of my request and that I should email them a copy of my written request and then promised they would cancel my service as request. Still has not happened and I have not received any word from them. On October 16th they deducted another payment from my account. Do not due business with this company. They should loose their license to do business in this State and every other State in the nation. If I had the option I would give this company zero stars.

      This company is a fraud, they have called me from multiple numbers and I have told them that I want to cancel and they hang up on me, one time they told me that my cancellation was in process and that they would send me an email with the information to return the security device and they never sent me the email and it turned out that it is not canceled, I am still receiving bills. I do not know how I can cancel it, they refuse to cancel the contract.

      Canceled the service a couple months in contract and they told me I had to have it for 3yrs which was ok but I canceled it and I'm still being charged a Whopping total of $5,192.61 cents do not get there service it's a ripoff to me try to find an attorney who can help.

      This is the most unorganized security company i have ever dealt with for my home security system. I have issues with security system since last year and they refused to fixed it.I ask them to cancel my contract, but they refused to do so. I filed a complaint at the Atty. general office and I was told to take them to court. ******* 10/10/2024

      Safe Home Security's entire business model is built on fraud. It is sad that only two states have successfully sued them so far for the way they mislead consumers and defraud Americans. Hopefully more states will follow suit. Do not do any business with this company.
