      You better watch your billing close!!! My paper copy says due 18th but online May 31st! Couldnt figure out why I’m late each month. Talked to rep who sounded totally exhausted from struggling to understand it enough to explain. He said it’s stupid and causes people to be late which affects credit scores! I was also slimed into another contract when I called to cancel 2 months before end of contract. If you have them cancel when you can. If you’ve been solicited by sales hang up on them. My bill has Ben twice as much as they said it would be. Now bc of how they bill, I’m paying for 2 months each month!

      THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY EVER! I received a text from a rep as if it were coming from ADT about upgrading my security system from 3G to 5G in August of 2024. The rep came out and basically told me that I needed to upgrade because eventually my system would no longer work without an upgrade, the monthly price hike made me decline and I said I would cross that bridge when I got there of my system no longer working. I got another text in May 2025 saying the same thing about an upgrade and free doorbell or camera. The rep came out and told me that ADT was being bought out and everyone would eventually have to change alarm carriers. LIES! They gave me a letter to mail to ADT to cancel my service but that didn't sit right with me. I called ADT to see if they were being bought out and if this was legit or had I been played. The ADT rep let me know in so many words, I had been had! I called Safe Home to cancel and since I was 7 days outside of the 3 day window that it was tough luck and that I was stuck for the next 60 months! The tactics of the sales rep are DECEPTIVE and I whole heartedly hope this company goes under for the way that they treat people. Customer service for Safe Home is a complete joke, they even answer the phone defensively because they already know the complaints that will roll in because they are CON ARTISTS!!! IF THEY TEXT YOU TO UPGRADE, REPORT AS JUNK AND BLOCK THEM IMMEDIATELY!!!!

      Safe Home Security are complete SCAMMERS... April 16 2025..They allowed my mother to fraudulently sign my name and run my credit without me being present. The complaint representative told me being that she lives with me she has the right to use my information and authorize my signature which is BS. He had had an attitude and informed me somebody was handling my case and what more did I want...I told him im aware I wanted to file a complaint on the techincian who allowed my mother to sign my name... He was overtalking me so I ask him was he on his period then he got mad and told me to call Better Bussiness Bureau.. I will definitely be getting my lawyer involved i know this is illegal..BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY...Not to mention customer representative lie and will give you the run around when asked to speak to supervisor 5... They keep changing date to retrieve their equipment i will not be on the hook for anything. IF I COULD I WOULD LEAVE THEM A NEGATIVE STAR

      I echo the comments of all other reviews. The Worst! They refuse to resolve my issue. Canceled my contract two years ago and have billed me ever since. They state that I canceled it verbally and it must be in writing. The individual that spoke to me when I called to cancel did not tell me that. They stated that there is a clause in the contract I signed. Seriously? Three years after the fact they hold the customer responsible for remembering a clause and the representative doesn't let you know the request needs to be submitted in writing? They have tanked my credit score? If I could give a 0 rating I would

      This company has been a scam. Sales agent told us that we could cancel with in a year, well 6 months in. We had found a better local security company. Sorry you are locked in till February 18-2025. Have had issues with the panel and the co2 senser, which their tech mounted on to the second level floor ceiling height. No service tech's in the Portland Oregon area that can come out with in 2 or 3 day's to do service work. I told them I'm not paying them for their services. February 18-2025 my contract is over, they didn't bother to call or send a letter asking if I would like to continue their services. So I'm still getting charged, until my unpaid contract amount is paid. Not happy with their sales pitch or their customer service. Cut throat company.

      This company is dishonest my system was faulty did not work charged me then after a year replaced the panel was told no cost do to the monitors motherboard was out checked my bank account and they took a large amount of money without my permission! This is a breach of trust, dishonest company that I am told I am stuck n for another year. Don’t be the next customer to get scammed!

      I am writing to escalate an ongoing issue with Safe Home Direct concerning deceptive practices and unresolved contract cancellation. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this matter, I am left with no option but to demand immediate action. Your representative misled me into signing a contract under the false impression that I was dealing with ADT. Throughout our interactions, they avoided answering direct questions about ADT affiliation, instructed me on how to answer questions during the "virtual" contract signing, and advised me to avoid filming them. Additionally, I was provided with a pre-filled letter and envelope to send to ADT under the false premise that ADT would reach out to process the cancellation. After not hearing from ADT or Safe Home Direct, I contacted ADT directly and was informed that Safe Home Direct is known for engaging in these unethical practices. I contacted your company, and Brian from the Resolutions Department assured me that he would follow up with my representative. However, no follow-up occurred. When I reached out to my representative, he had no knowledge of any contact, and I was advised to wait for further action. Further attempts to resolve the issue have been met with delays and evasion. I was informed that Brian was unavailable, and no notes were logged in my file, which is unacceptable. This lack of accountability is egregious, especially given the serious nature of the deceptive tactics employed by your company. I demand immediate cancellation of my contract and written confirmation of this action within 48 hours. Failure to do so will leave me no choice but to escalate this matter further by filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, and pursuing legal action for fraud, breach of contract, and unfair business practices.

      Worst company ever. When I first signed up, they promised me a free camera and free credit card worth $200 and I was not given either plus alarm system haven't worked since they put it up since 2021. Told them to cancel and they won't but keep charging me. They keep calling me and I am a retired woman with glaucoma. My sole purpose was to get security since I am a widow but the system hasn't worked at all. They keep calling in 2025.

      I am writing to formally request the immediate cancellation of my Home Safe Security service, effective immediately. Additionally, I wish to express my extreme dissatisfaction with your company’s deceptive and predatory business practices. I was never made aware that I was entering into a long-term contract. The last time I contacted Home Safe Security for a service request, I was forced to sign a contract in order to have someone come out and fix my equipment. At the time, I had no alternative but to agree, as I was leaving the country for an extended period and needed my security system to be functional. At no point was I provided with a clear explanation of the terms, nor was I given a choice in the matter. Now that I am attempting to cancel, I am being told that I must pay 90% of the remaining contract balance—a completely unreasonable and exploitative policy. At no point was this explicitly communicated to me, and I strongly contest the legitimacy of this contract. This is a classic example of deceptive sales tactics and an outright lack of transparency on Home Safe Security’s part.
