Boost has the worst service around I have had an issue since March with my service every time I call to see if the issue is being corrected I get an excuse or let's trouble shoot your phone it is NOT the phone it is the tower. I recommend using a different phone provider.

Worse company ever, horrible customer service. The companies practices deceptive policies. They advertise unlimited talk and text but on numerous occasions have interrupted my service a week, even two weeks after having paid for my monthly service because they claimed I, ran out of data. Despite the company's claims running ot of data is not an excuse, unlimited talk and text means, even if you don't have data you still have talk and text. ***** asked to be reimbursed for the numerous times they've done this, after finally admitting they were wrong told me no because it was my fault. I'm sorry, do not use this service let scum fail. So people can learn that shady practices will not be tolerated by consumers.

This is the worst provider I have ever dealt with. I went with my son who was leaving for the US Navy earlier this year to have the new phone he purchased from boost activated on our existing account using the same phone number. The lady there assured me she was activating the new phone on the existing account. SHE LIED. When my bank tried to fix the overcharges after 8 months, they shut off his phone and refuse to reactivate it even though we paid double for 8 months. The female who did this even took his phone and followed her own ******* account at the same time. I was on the phone with boost for over two hours today and even though they admit I paid two bills, they refuse to activate his phone. This is their fault and NO ONE SHOULD EVER GO TO THIS STORE. But wait it gets worse... If you go there and try and buy a sim card which Boost says costs $9.99, they try and charge you $50.00. We had to get Boost on a call with them to tell them they are contracted to charge $9.99 for a sim card. So now my son who is in the US Navy in ************** has no phone because they wouldn't even give me their name on the call to customer service. This is a dirty business and no one should trust them.

I was a Republic Wireless customer for 8 years. Was always happy with the service. That all changed about around a month ago. I have been getting complaints from my office that they can not get through to me. My phone doesn't ring. While away on vacation I am getting messages that I have no phone service. Can only make 911 calls. After calling support about the problem, I realized I am now dealing with Republic Wireless By Dish. Then I was told I had to switch to a 5G plan. I told them I probably don't have a 5G phone. Some how they don't know what kind of phone I have. They were actually trying to set me up on a network that I cannot connect to. I asked if I can get a phone replacement because this problem was caused by their switch to a new system. My phone still works, the difference now is the network changed. My phone is only 2 years old. I don't even think they offered a 5G phone at the time. I have seen other companies offering free pone to switch to 5G. From reading other comments, I see there was an offer for a discount & credit. But now that I am complaining about the problems I'm having, there is no discount or credit available. I also see that people are not even getting the promised discount and credit.

I wish to file a complaint against Boost Mobile for horrific customer service as well as what I believe to be very questionable procedures. I was a customer for several years and purchased 2 ******* cell phones from them. I received some poor customer support from ********************** so I cancelled my contract a few weeks ago. I tried to use the phone I purchased from boost on another providers network only to be told that since I purchased the phone only 4 months ago I need to wait 8 more months before they can unlock it. I dont think that is a correct policy and I believe federal guidelines state that if the phone is fully paid and the service contract is in proper order, a unlock should be issued. I however agreed to those conditions and tried to get a phone I purchased from boost mobile in jan. 2021. That phone was in service with boost mobile for over a year which meets their requirements. I spent over an hour with their customer service ***** but they kept on transferring me to different depts. Once a rep hung up on me. Finally got to speak to a manager and he said he needed my 4 position pin. I gave him the pin number I have always used but he said the system would not recognize it. That was it, the phones will be locked by boost mobile forever. He said because they valued customer security there is nothing he could do. Offered any possible alternatives ways to confirm my identity but he insisted the 4 digit pin was the only way.I spent well over 5 hours during this past week working with boost mobile trying to get my phone unlocked but to no avail. Highly recommend against doing business with boost mobile.

I lost my phone on a plane 2 weeks ago traveling. The next week, 8/8, I tried to suspend my account; just in case someone stole the phone they couldn't use my service. Boost Mobile has an option for the customer to suspend their account online, however, when I tried it didn't work, so I went into a boost mobile store. The in-store customer service rep couldn't suspend the account for some reason; he called the phone line customer service. I waited 30 - 40 minutes but finally the account was suspended. Now I regret not asking why it took so long for them to suspend the account. The in-store rep told me that they would need to unsuspend the account if I found my phone and needed to activate it once again. I bought a new phone that same week and immediately went into the same boost mobile store to have my account unsuspended and the new phone activated. For some reason the in-store rep couldn't unsuspend the account, she called boost customer service, they couldn't unsuspend the account, so she was sent to ******* customer service. My phone is a *******. ******* customer service had us on hold what felt like forever only to come back and say I would have to wait 1 -2 business days. The issue was "escalated" up. Well, the next week my phone was found by the airline and shipped back to me. I went back to the boost mobile store - my account was still suspended and still hadn't been unsuspended. We went through the motions once again - the in-store rep had to call boost mobile customer service, they proceeded to refer us to ******* customer service once again. I waited a long time and finally I spoke with a ******* rep only to be told that ******* does not handle suspending or unsuspending a service provider account. They are the manufacturer of the device but they don't have control over the service provider customer account. This made sense! ******************** passed the buck when it was on them to fix the problem! Bad customer service and inept technicians.

Boost refuses to refund my credit stating that I did not overpay. I have opened 5 tickets; each one being closed by Boost saying I did not overpay. I spoke with manager *****. She assured me that my refund would be in my account in 3 to 5 business days. No refund after 7 days. I also tried to report my son's phone stolen. I was told in the Boost store that they could not report his phone stolen or Blick his number due to a system change. I switched to a different carrier and Boost refuses to refund my credit balance. They the worst!!!!!!

Worst customer service chat ever, they put you on hold on the chat when your with an agent forever, than they ask you to tell them the problem, you tell them the problem and they put you on hold once again forever. Do any of their idiots know what their doing, probably not. I pay for scam and spam blocking only to be notified 20 times in less than a minute that they blocked a scam likely. What am I paying it for when I can do that s*** myself
