I bought the ** Pavilion laptop back in September 2023 for school. I am a nursing student so the webcam is required. The first time I tried using it, the webcam was pixelated. I tried to return it to ******* and they wouldn't take it back and told me I needed to contact **. I honestly did not have time to mess with it as I was unable to be without a computer for even 1 day and the process was likely to take a lot longer. So, I used my phone camera for school. Just recently, I was required to take a proctored test for my job (which requires a webcam). I thought I would try the webcam again to see if it would miraculously work. ****. No such luck. So, I call **. Their service department transfers me to the software department. Granted, I'm under the impression the webcam is actually a hardware issue, not a software issue. Regardless, they transfer me to their software people. I get on the phone with them. They barely speak English, so they are hard to understand. They tell me they will need to do a complete reboot of my entire computer and wipe out my user folders and all just to get this stupid camera to work. To make a long story short, I spent over 5 hours going back and forth with these people. AND to top it off, they ruined my computer! Nothing would open after they were done with it. Just a blue screen. My mom had to buy me another laptop so I could attend school. I placed a complaint with **'s customer service and they only offered to try to fix the webcam by my having to mail it to them. They refused to reimburse me for this piece of c*** I no longer want. DO NOT BUY FROM **!!! THEIR PRODUCTS SUCK!!!Review fromKathleen C

I subscribed to hp ink thinking it would be great to have one one monitor my ink for me. I was never told that if you went over the number of copies you make, you are charged extra above and beyond your subscription. I called to cancel my subscription and they have a way that you can not use the ink you purchased. So now not only was I charged an extra $15 but now th ink I have I can not use so I basically was taken. Very sad!Review fromCraig C

The Instant Ink Deal is a scam. First, it took several calls to set up, and then they stated I needed a credit card for the free ink for three months. Then, they billed me after one month. I canceled the service and asked for my credit card to be removed. 30 days later, their software stopped my printer from printing. Don't download HP software, as they are watching you.Review fromChristopher M

I can't get ahold of anyone. One of the cartridges they sent isn't working. I have spent HOURS on the phone and via their virtual assistant. They finally got to the point where they were going to connect me to an actual person and then they said they were having technical difficulties and couldn't connect me to a person, but I could continue to talk to the virtual assistant. I tried several different times and got the same thing. Now I can't get ahold of anyone to cancel my subscription. Everytime I call it says the same thing.Review fromMy N

HP ***************** Ive paid my plan for several months and due to me hardly printing I cancelled my subscription. Come to find out they tried to pull a payment from my card that was blocked so HP blocked/stop my printer from printing than I was told since Im canceling my service my current Ink cartridge will stop printing. HP representative said the ink cartridge needs a subscription to work. So I paid money for Ink cartridge I can no-longer use because I canceled my subscription.DO NOT USE THERE INSTA INK SERVICE HP will lock your printer from printing and stop your Ink Cartridge from working if you cancel your services.Review fromAriana K

Do not purchase HP printers it is a scam. You cannot print your own documents without subscribing to their monthly services, which is priced per the Pages you print. Plus, their customer support is a joke. Unfortunately I didnt do more research before buying this printer that is now useless to me, I gave in and did one month subscription and they sent me the wrong cartridges even though I ordered it logged in through my profile under my specific printer, and they did not comp me for that whole waiting period of the cartridges being mailed to me mailed back so I got billed for a whole month of nothing. I just canceled my service and will be throwing this printer away in the dumpster because not even someone at Goodwill deserves to deal with this headache.Review fromJohn B

I have an HP 8610 printer I have owned for a few years. I always replaced the ink cartridge with 3rd party ink vendor. These always worked from Amazon. HP has now put through a software driver update for their printers. This update now only allows my printer to work with over priced HP cartridges. I checked for updated printers drivers to correct the situation. There is no update driver allowing 3rd party ink cartridges for the All In One HP 8610. They should have told owners what they were doing. This is like having your microwave in your home for a couple years and now a change, only heating foods by the microwave manufacturer. This is crazy and should be dealt a fine. I have a new PC by HP too. What is going to happen to that as time passes, will I have to use a HP monitor? I would like to understand how they can be allowed to make a change like this through an automatic update that now restricts my printer? I will never buy their ink cartridges. I'll go for another printer but at 70 years old trying to find why my printer stopped was not easy and took a long time. To find out that it was HP who I paid for my printer reaching back into my pocket feels like it should be illegal! I would like to see them get their ROI with a huge fine!Review fromBruce W

At the beginning of April 2024, I purchased a Hewlett Packard laptop. From April until about the end of June 2024, it worked well. Great machine. One morning, I turned the laptop on and a blue, stop error screen appeared. The laptop automatically went to automatic repair mode. None of the repair options worked, the laptop does not work. It is July 18. More than 6+ hours of phone calls with HP tech support and working through all the repair options again and again and with different tech people, NOTHING worked. The machine does not work, automatic blue, stop code screen on boot up, on to the automatic repair screen, end of story. Since I could not provide the resources that the tech people wanted me to, HP wants to charge me, the customer, $45 more dollars for a flash drive to, hopefully, reinstall Windows 11. Since I could not provide the resources for the aforementioned fix, or so I was told, HP has ended its support for my issue. Phone calls and e-mails, recent e mails sent to the *** in *********, have yielded NOTHING. I was sent an e mail from an HP case manager who called once while I was not at home. There has been NO communication from ANYONE at HP since. I view the solution as being a simple one - repair my current laptop or replace it. HP wants to do neither. Communication with HP is on an endless circle loop going nowhere. Some of the tech people have foreign accents I cannot understand. They have to repeat things 2 or 3 times for me to know what they are saying.Review fromJessica S

This is a scam HP Instant Ink which states one price but charged me ***** for printing in a single month. I immediately cancelled 6-15-24 but still billing me even after I returned their ink. I demand a refund and there is no customer service number nor assistance. The printer doesnt even print because they control it and I have been deceived and ripped off.
