I purchased a HP ProBook 465 16 inch G11 Notebook PC (901H4AV) in January 2025 and after the 5/20/2025 update my screen is black and than fan continuously runs. This is the second laptop from ** purchased in the past year and the second machine to stop working months after the purchase after an update. Quality and price are not matching up.

I don't give it any stars , I'm disabled and on a fixed income, When I bought my HP office jet 4200 series. I had no idea that I would be having my printer held hostage by ** insta ink . I just signed up for a *********** and paid it on or around the 1st of May . Then I went to use it . And it was telling me they tried to take money again for service. And is holding me hostage again. Here's the kicker I haven't ran out of ink and they sent me a package of paper $ink .. and they're taking money from my account. The bill isn't even supposed to come out the account until the 1st. No reason for them to take anything out .I never turn off my printer. And supposedly it would tell them when I'm out of ink. So no I'm not happy with HP printers , because it's fraudulent to hold someone's property hostage.I should not have to go through this sight to get my materials. It's America people you should have The right to buy somewhere else. Instead of being ripped off. I'm taking this to the ************************* And have an investigation done. To get back our monies people.we don't have to be the victims of corruption incorporated by these tec people.

I just wrote an email to ** about the forced Instant Ink subscription, so I visited BBB to see if others were experiencing this or if there's just something I'm not understanding to change this. After reading the reviews here, I see I am not alone and this appears to be a scam, as I cannot think of another way to describe their actions. I cannot use my printer without the Instant Ink subscription and my husband and I were not informed this Instant Ink subscription would be a requirement to use our printer. I would warn anyone to not purchase from **.

I never had a problem with ** until this year. I purchased what I thought was the ink service the last week of Dec. I received a printer???? I went out of town for two weeks in January and came back and call **, explaining an error. All I wanted was the ink, not the printer. I was told it was over 30 days (32 days) and I would have to pay $275. for breaking agreement. I tried speaking with someone who could help and kept getting a run around. Ink kept coming to house and not being used. I was asked to return printer (which they provided return label). Once I received confirmation that they had printer back, and several calls to follow up I received a rejection from escalation ********* again, I never had anyone call me. My credit card information was locked in with **. I was not able to remove card as well. And the charge of $275. was posted on my credit card account. I feel I was scammed big time. I lost my confidence in dealing with **.

I have a HP printer and signed up for the ink cartridge program but I hardly ever received any cartridges so I canceled the program and HP locked my printer so I couldnt receive or send faxes which disrupted my business I tried calling numerous times with no answer or call back to resolve this issue This is a scam and would love to to file a class action lawsuit for the money I have lost which is in the thousands My advice is to stay away from ** products

How the executives of HP Inc. aren't facing legal consequences is beyond me. This is American corporate scamming at its finest. I purchased an HP printer which I barely used. A few months later, on a tight work deadline, I needed to print documents urgently. In the middle of printing, the printer suddenly stopped. A message popped up: my three-month "free" ink subscription had ended — and now I had to subscribe just to print. Let that sink in: I couldn’t use the ink already in the machine unless I paid them monthly. After wasting hours trying to get through to someone, I finally learned I had two options: Subscribe to a monthly printing plan, or Throw out the barely used HP ink and buy third-party replacements. At no point during the purchase was this subscription model explained. Had I known, I never would’ve bought the printer. I asked to speak to a manager. It took days of calling, being transferred repeatedly, and promises that someone would "call back" — only to get an email saying the case was closed. I had to start all over again. After nearly a week of pushing for a refund, I was told I’d only get back a third of what I paid — despite using the printer minimally and returning it in nearly new condition. HP is deceptive. Their practices are designed to trap consumers in hidden subscriptions, and their customer service is a nightmare: outsourced agents with no power to help, passing you around in circles. If you enjoy hidden fees, subpar printers, and wasting hours fighting for basic support — HP is the brand for you. Otherwise, run.

HP Instant Ink and the ** company force you to enroll in Instant Ink, and you can not unenroll and still be able to use their printers. I had to move, and my printer was disconnected for six months. I was charged every month and even for printing 10 extra pages, which is impossible. I should have been given a refund for 6 months. Instead, I was just informed by email that they have credited my account for only 3 three months. I also have no new ink... and am not reconnected. Apparently, I cannot get a refund until I resubscribe to their program there have been multiple class action lawsuits on this, and all around horrible company customer service, although at times, the ink and print are fine quality... But not in the past six months for my account. There is no opportunity to speak to a person, and constant opening of cases #'s about the same concern via email. Chat does absolutely nothing!

If I could leave less than a one-star review I would. After buying a ****** that was an awful awful printer within 5 months of it not working anymore I bought an HP printer and after spending an entire day trying to set it up the next day I called HP for help and it took them over 7 hours and they never set it up successfully finally the next day after that I managed to get it set up successfully on my own. It never had good print quality. The controls are very poor. the manual to do things like zoom and copy and so on and so forth are really lacking. The paper tray literally broke off on its own while it was sitting by itself which made it to the paper didn't load very good which it never did very well in the first place. I kept the printer for a while because I could sort of get it to work and after my experience with the Canon printer and an Epson printer before that I decided I was going to live with subpar products. However my Wi-Fi router went down and after the company gave us a new one that was formatted exactly like the old one I could never get my HP printer to connect so that I could send items to it to be printed it became completely worthless. When I called to discontinue my Ink subscription which is a ripoff as well it took me two and a half hours to reach somebody. This kind of customer service is unacceptable and they wanted to charge me for one more month of the subscription service and I refuse and told them I would cancel the card and block them from my account so they didn't charge me for the final subscription bill that was coming up several days after I canceled. I will never buy ** ever again I am done

Absolute trash, I bought this printer from somebody. It wouldn't connect to my account so I can finish setting it up, so I called tech support and they tried to charge me $20 over the phone to help me! He said it wasn't even a guaranteed fix. It simply wasn't registering to my account! It's Indian customer support, they are openly scamming us!
