Attempted to purchase a plan for tech support and found the plan I was offered only allowed for hardware. After spending well over 3 hrs with 10 different agents, I was finally able to get a refund started. Now I wait 10 days to see if the refund happens. This was THE WORST experience with this company. Their customer support is horrific and I feel sorry for anyone who has to use them.Review fromEleanor H

I ordered a laptop from them on 7/4/22 They said it has to be built which they said has to be customized and built to order Which I was supposed to have gotten within a week I waited over 3weeks for it. When I got it I didn't like it it was very difficult. Every time I contacted them online they kept saying I have no ACC. with them and that I didn't order it. I told them I don't want it I want to send it back. but couldn't because they kept telling me the same thing over and over. I had y granddaughter call them today to tell them I want to send it back But they said No I can't send back.Review fromEddie V

If I was allowed to rate them 0 stars I would. Placed an order and within a couple days received an e-mail that the order was delivered. The order was not received and not placed by my front door (I was home that day) as the e-mail stated. Called HP about the package not being received and got the run around. They wanted me to go and ask my neighbors if they received my package. That should be a FedEx and HP responsibility, not mine. Maybe next time FedEx should get a signature for the package. HP wanted me to file a police report because maybe someone took it from my front door. Outrageous, why should I take time out of my day to file a police report, again when it should be the responsibility of FedEx and/or HP. During my second call with **************** I asked (more demanded than asked) to speak with a manager because I was getting nowhere with this **************** rep. The rep forgot to put her phone on mute and starting joking and mocking me that I wanted to speak to a manager, completely unacceptable. She apologized when I confronted her about this, but the apology was most likely because she got caught, not that she was actually sorry. Waited 24 hours called again nothing was resolved. When I called a third time and threaten to cancel the payment and take my business elsewhere, then they ordered the replacement. Absolutely ridiculous the amount of frustration I had to go through because someone on their side made a mistake. I do not know how many times they asked me to confirm my name, e-mail, and address. I have had bad **************** before but no like this. I will never place another order with them again.Review fromVicki P

I have an HP Office Jet Pro printer, scanner, etc. machine. For a couple of years now, I have used other than HP ink for my printing needs. This week, when I tried to put non- HP replacement cartridges in my machine, it locked up and I was unable to use it. Apparently, there was a firmware update, that I was unaware of, that locks the machine up unless HP ink cartridges are used so you have to buy their triple the price ink. I also found out that there is a class action lawsuit for this very issue. Inasmuch as the machine works fine for my needs, the underhanded update is disconcerting. I will NOT be purchasing another HP product when this one goes to the printer graveyard. Shame on HP! If I could give them zero stars, I would.Review fromMabel P

In 2019, I began my subscription with HP Instant Ink. I received the initial cartridge of ink and have been billed without receiving new cartridges for almost 3 years now. I have attempted to call and get a refund issued/canceled and have spent hours on hold. I am not able to speak directly with anyone to resolve the issue, cancel my account, and receive a refund for the time and money wasted. I have resorted to purchasing my own ink (approximately $50-$60 each time) and still get billed each month. Representatives have acknowledged that I have not received ink from them since 2019 and have offered me 2 months of refund; they advised they cannot authorize a refund for more than two months. I am extremely frustrated with my experience with HP and advise potential customers to steer clear. After reading many reviews, I can agree with a majority of the negative experiences that others have detailed.Review fromBrenna S

I bought an HP Omen in December of 2020 (Model 15-EN0013DX) and for the past six months have had blue screens of death. I've taken it for service twice. Now they are saying it's a motherboard issue and what do you know - my computer is outside of its one year warranty. I've been having these BSOD issues for six months. For HP to sell a laptop with a faulty motherboard and offer no recourse beyond requiring the customer to pay over half of the price of the laptop in repair costs is absurd. I'll never buy from HP again. Do not buy the Omen, it's a piece of expensive junk.Review fromRegina N

I'd have to say that this is a very sad situation. Throughout the school-years of both of my children, Ive always purchased HP products from towered, desk computers and laptops, they did the purpose for my children, never lasted long, but did the job. I was laid off last year from my job, and being a single mother, decided to purchase a new computer for my self to work from home, thinking it could help my chances of landing a job and be at home with my children. I purchased a All-in-One HP, last June, put within the year as of this June a, maybe, 80 hours on it....maybe. Every time I was finished using it, I shut it down properly and unplugged it. I finally landed a full time job and went to turn on my computer July 1st and there was no sign of life. Took it to the computer repair shop and they told me it was dead, no power board, they also said my warranty just expired, and hp is awful that there all in one computers have a bad rep. So I called HP, explaining the situation and asking for some guidance and repair, not for a new computer, and I was to,d repeatedly that my warranty was expired and they could not do anything for me, that I would have tp pay for the repairs, in which would be an estimated cost of half of what I paid for it. The representative also said he was only doing his job and did not want to lose it because he was fooling the rules and said you know that there are no jobs out there......I said yes I know because the one job I got , I cannot do because of no computer. He said sorry man, but I can't do anything for you, because your out of warranty. I have been out 2 weeks til a month, Iwas not asking for a new computer, I was asking for some help from a company that I thought cared about their customers and one (me) that has bought in the past as well. Very sad and unprofessionalReview fromRoy T

My experience was almost identical to that of Therese M. in her review on the Business Express site. I recently purchased an HP printer. The instructions lead you to an operator that is to assist in the Printer setup. I received a call from Business Express, Inc. who informed me that I could not connect to my computer via wifi due to a nonfunctioning firewall on my router. I ended up with a 3 yr firewall and support contract with Business Express. Was this a good deal? I have no idea. I had no more chance to compare packages than an critical care patient has to compare hospitals. I equally blame Business Express and HP for this opaque relationship.
