It's disappointing to know that I have repeatedly paid for services and have not been accommodated. I have been a member since 2019. I started off with small units, paying less than ***** a month. Well within the last two years I have at the *** paid ******+ for 30 days of paper and ink. Now, I have a small business, and a disabled vet. I have requested that my due date be on the first since it is an automatic deduction. Well, that hasn't happened. And because when the bill is due during the month, I become delayed, with printing projects and deadlines. I get behind on emails, that I typically print off for documentation purposes as I open. This has yet to happen. I filed a complaint and directed to the escalated department. I received two calls, after an email with a time that I didn't agree too, and missed, there for I could not escalate the case and it was closed. I was only allowed to speak with "******" as she was over my case. As much of a deal that I am receiving through this service, I am thinking about getting a different printer, with a different company and just moving forward.Review fromShirley h

I bought a new printer from HP. They tricked me into a 6 month free trial of instant ink. What that did was lock my printer so I could never use off brand ink. They took away my admin privileges of the printer I bought with my hard earned money. Now this printer will not work at all. This is how they work around the lawsuit saying if people own their printer they can do with it what so ever they want. Insta ink locks up you being able to use this printer with less expensive ink. NEVER BUY HP NEVER SIGN UP FOR INSTA INK. They said it is in the fine print. They don't tell you this when you sign up over the phone they know they are tricking you.Review fromZeenia B

Absolute garbage! I had to replace the black cartridge on my own since HP instant ink didn't send me one. I replaced it because my printer stopped printing altogether and when I called customer service, they didn't think it was a problem with the cartridge. Instead, they tried to sell me a new printer. I naively also thought since I didn't receive any ink from HP, the cartridge is fine. But before buying a new printer, I tried changing out my black cartridge and voila, my printer works. HP instant ink stopped sending me black cartridges since I had replaced it on my own. So I canceled my subscription after several months of just getting all the color cartridges which I didn't really need anyway. Lo and behold, once I canceled my subscription, I could no longer use the cartridges that I paid for!!! When I called the helpdesk, they said "rules are rules" and said I may have a closing bill to pay. I said why would I pay for something that I cannot even use. What a scam and absolute rip off.Review fromDawn M

The product itself, in this case an All-in-One desktop computer, is fine. I've only had it a short time and previously had one as well. My issue is the SERVICE given by the company. "Fine" can be purchased from many companies, and in the future I will be purchasing from another one NOT HP, but the fact that from the moment I ordered it on their website I had issues is the reason for my rating and my complaint. I paid additional to receive the order in 2-3 business days. I had an invoice stating the anticipated date of arrivial(3 business days later). Yet when I'd only gotten notice of the shipment ON the 3rd business day, with expected delivery 4 days later, I attempted to reach out to their ********************** This is basically non-existant. With the automated system you cannot get through to CS to begin with. When I finally decided to select "sales", knowing I would get a real person that time and hoping to be transferred to CS, I was given a song and dance about why I didn't have my order, asked if I wanted to purchase an EXTENDED WARRANTY on item I didn't even have yet, and then disconnected after asking to be transferred to CS I gave up calling. I emailed next, followed by a reply telling me that my 3-5 day shipping "STARTS" after it is first shipped. REALLY?? Because that's not what my invoice said. I replied to that saying as much - and she gave me the same(WRONG) response. I replied again, got someone else who attempted to tell me the same and then I noticed I was refunded my expedited shipping payment. No apology. Just a refund. Keep in mind I now had to be sure I was home for delivery days after I planned to be home. I was told incorrect information and never actually reached a person in service to SPEAK with. This is not a company I ever plan on doing business with again and have told anyone thinking of purchasing a computer NOT to use HP. I can get "fine" from **** or any other company. I have no reason to use HP again.Review fromMallory N

A nasty, monopolizing company that values profit over customers. It's no wonder they boast a 1-star rating with thousands & thousands of reviews! ????First, HP auto-updated my printer (and probably yours, too!) to REJECT off-brand, generic toners. This effectively forces us to buy HP's overpriced tonersfor me, this is $446 plus tax every time I need to buy all 4 colors. Unless you want to foot the bill of a brand-new printer every time you need some ink, I suggest you stay far, far away from HP.Secondly, I've had recurring connectivity issues with my $450 LaserJet printer and no way to access a real person for customer service UNLESSget thisI pay $99 or more to talk to someone. Frustrated after hours of troubleshooting, I paid and have yet to receive an email with instructions to use the service I paid for. Of course, their website and "virtual assistant" is of absolutely no help. ????????????More often than not, I find myself printing documents at ***** because my unreliable printer only works a fraction of the time. Pretty sad considering I have a *very* lightly-used HP printer collecting dust in my office!Review fromJennifer M

Refused to help unless I sign up for their scan printer ink service. Purchased new router. Printer will not recognize new device so no printing available. Looked online and saw MANY others with same issue. FINALLY found an actual number to call them and reached India. The rep would not help unless I signed up for Ink Service. Useless service. Like many others, will never purchase an HP product again. I will also share my experience with friends, family, and my company.Review fromMichelle M

I am trying to end my subscription for Instant Ink. Have literally 3 full boxes of ink cartridges I have paid for based on 700 pages usage. Am told if I terminate the subscription I am unable to use the ink cartridges I paid for. Even if purchase the minimum plan of 10 pages they will charge my $1 page after the 10 pages are printed You can never end the plan!! Total fraud!Review fromDoug R

Absolutely atrocious customer service. In fact, I wouldn't even call it customer service. I foolishly purchased an HP computer and now it is starting to give me problems. I tried to get assistance from their online "chat" and instead of assisting with the issue the tech Ravi Kumar chose to ask me redundant questions that had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the issue I was having. Nothing. When I asked for a supervisor after 40 minutes of talking in circles I was told that someone will call me back at their convenience, So in addition to offerring substandard products they back those substandard products with substandard customer service farmed out to an overseas call center with rude unprofessional agents that clearly feel they are above any accountability. I've personally had it with companies that don't stand behind their products and then farm off their messes to people who could care less about the customer. This will be the last item I purchase from this company. Unless the person involved is terminated which will never happen. I'm really tired of dealing with this nonsense and there is nothing that is made at HP that I can't find somewhere else.Review fromNathan R

This company is forcing us to pay monthly fees for instant ink or they cancel the printers ability to print at all... they outsource calls to a call center out of country that plays the most annoying music ever and for one reason or another you are forced to repeat yourself multiple times in order to simply verify spelling or numbers... multiple hours of my time have been wasted simply to be able to print without using go instant ink... I'd like to be compensated for my time wasted quite honestly
