HP is a terrible company with products that break down. Had problems with a laptop years ago and now a printer.**** never buy again. My recent experience: After only a few uses my printer could not connect to Wi-Fi. HP claims that their printers suddenly are not compatible with my router model. Wow, this was news to me, since my router works with everything else. After many wasted hours and frustration the problem remains. How could a so called top technology company not be able to connect many thousands of printers to Wi-Fi?

Bought a HP laptop that has been inferior since I started using it, lagging, freezing, slow loading. Company has been misleading to say the least. The last straw was when I was told my issue could possibly be caused due to an older part (from the 90's) being installed to keep the costs of the product low. They've offered to fix it if I pay for the part even though my warranty is still in effect. Writing to corporate has fallen on deaf ears. Promised phone calls from HP escalation department have not been carried out. Even reaching out to ****** where it was purchased has been ignored. I would NOT recommend dealing with HP simply for the fact that they don't stand behind their product.

HP takes advantage of not only customers, but employees. We are told to lie to customers about warranty, if your unit is over a year old, "It is an old unit we cannot provide assistance without payment." I have seen people charged $600 for a broken screen on a $400 laptop but I simply cannot do anything as it "is customer induced damage." The harassment we face from management is unbearable, let alone customers who have every right to be ******.

I purchased a 2 year HP Care Pack warranty for my laser printer. 1 year into the warranty, I called about an issue with the scanner. I was originally told they'd ship a new printer. Then they called back to tell me the printer was out of warranty. I sent them a copy of the warranty showing it was paid on May 21, 2022. They called me back later to say the warranty was expired. This went on several times and they cannot find my order DESPITE THE **** THAT I CAN GO UNDER MY ACCOUNT AT HP AND SEE IT!!!!!! It is apparent that these warranties are useless since they are unwilling to acknowledge my 2 year warranty that should be in effect until May 21, ****.

Security and Privacy compromised!!!!!I purchased a smart printer. Had troubles hooking it up. Called HP. I was transferred to the computer repair section of the company due to my 10yr old Mac. Repairs made, printer now works.I was called three weeks later stating the program they used did not work on my computer. They wanted to refund my money. With much distress, I opened my banking page so they could refund my money-and I was suppose to see this. WELL, MY SCREEN WENT BLACK. WHEN I DID SEE MY SCREEN, HP OR A SCAM COMPANY TRIED TO TRANSFER $30K FROM MY SAVING TO CHECKING. I IMMEDIATELY UNPLUGGED MY COMPUTER. MONEY WAS SAVED.DO NOT WORK WITH HP. THEIR SYSTEMS ARE NOT SECURE/PROTECTED.TO DATE, THE ESCALATION DEPARTMENT HAS NOT TALKED TO ME.DO NOT WORK WITH HP OVER THE ***** FOR ANY ISSUE YOU MAY HAVE.Respectfully,LAL

Do not order from their website. They promise shipping in 3-5 days but then it takes weeks to build a basic laptop. Then they wont let you cancel even if it hasnt shipped yet. Horrible customer service.

Misleading, when I purchased a printer and tried to get support setting it up I somehow ended up with an Instant Ink account. I cancelled the account on-line and was still billed through my credit card. Called into one of their agents to cancel and was told it was done, then a month later was charged again. Tried to use on-line Chat, no response.

The HP Instant Ink program is a scam. Worst monthly subscription I've ever used. The instant ink cartridges are coded separately so the printer has to be connected to HP's services and confirm you are enrolled in instant ink before it will use them. Except my printers are always disconnecting from HP's services. Once a month I find myself doing a factory reset to get them reconnected and re-enrolled to use ink I already paid for. This month, after two years of this mess, the enrollment service is broken so I can't fix my printer at all.I called customer service to cancel my now-useless ********************** ink subscription. I was repeatedly clear that I just want to cancel, I've wasted too much time and money already. Their "cancellation" script was nothing but relentless upsells - I finally hung up and tried to cancel online. Their website won't load at all on my phone. From my laptop I was finally able to cancel - I hope. We'll see what happens at the end of the month.

Awful customer service, calls being taken on *************** by people who treat you like a child!! I just received a damaged printer by ****** with a big hole on the box that broke the paper tray. There is no way to initiate the claim on the website, so you have to call. HP customer service had me on the phone for 28 minutes to tell me that they will analyze the case as they get the printer back and THEN (if approved) they will ship me another one. So far I have not received a return label to ship it back, so who knows for how long I'll be waiting to get it! After I made myself clear on how much dissatisfied I was with all this, the representative ****** (of course this is not her real name) hung up on me. Never ever buying again from them!
