Voipo company is bee charging me over and over the same transactions on many renewals my service till 2029 with out my consent and abstract money from my credit card I did send two them since when they are doing extra charges and the eco only refund it 5 charges of ***** dollars each charging also for services the they never provide other charges from phone numbers not belongs to me and lately they do more then 12 transactions some of them ****** each one and the don't wants to refund it to my credit card I also have late fees plus interest rate due to there mistake the eco ask me for the proofs and even though I forward it to him he still asking me for more proofs some of my service are ****** every 2 years and now I find out the charge is been every year this way too much it take my time and energy and I don't know what else to do I may take them to court with my proofs I find out in so many reviews in different website very bad reviews about Voipo companyBusiness Response

On 7/8/2024, VOIPO charged my credit card without authorization for $185.I contacted the company on 7/18, and they admitted it was a mistake and made some fake excuse about their billing department, and promised to refund the charge. See below for the ********* of 8/7/2024, they still have not reversed their false charge and several follow-up e-mails have received no reply from this company. Also, this seems to be a pattern based upon other reviews - they make an extra charge and hope people do not notice. the company repeated bills me without an invoice. I just happened to look on my credit card and found I have been billed seven times along this year for an annual subscription. additionally, there are 3 charges from 2023. I would be fine with the 2023 for 1 year but that means the company charges whenever it feels like it as an 'error'. of course reaching out to the company only gave a partial refund, my account shows another total. again, they just charge and there is never an invoice or heads up a bill is due. this from the same company that says non working equipment on their network is my problem, I have yet to see proper configs if I purchase something from anyone but them (3rd party equipment from the same manufacturer), acceptance of service issues (the service as gone down multiple times and it's always something on my network despite I did not changes but suddenly starts working again after a weekend). one of the lines I pay for has not worked for years but it's my fault. same company that told me to run a scan then says my network is not setup correct but never bothered to say run from the same segment as devices (or figure out it's not a problem and their blame game is weak)what I would like it honest payment and value for my money, not 'errors' that benefit the company while s******* users. I should have full service at all times, equipment that works and invoices not random charges. all of 3 items are not what I have now. additionally, my funds have been tied up for some time. I'm not getting interest back, had I not paid my card off, I'd be paying more for something unfairly. I want the 185 to be applied to their 'sale price' of 149 for 2 years.Business Response

Without my permission I was chared for a 2 year renewal/extension for my ************* I alrady had extended my service through 2027 and this automatic renewal push it to 2029 which I did not want. I have been a customer for over 10 years. My account was prepaid through April ******* December 2023 I started receiving "Credit Card Payment failed" emails. VOIPO was attempting to charge my card 4 months early, and without the 2 years for the price of 1 promotion they frequently offer.I opened a ticket, and the response I received basically said that VOIPO might generate renewals earlier that the due date - nothing to indicate this was in ******** date it seems VOIPO has now attempted to charge my card seventeen (17) times per the emails I have received. The last 3 have been since I initiated cancellation of my account because of this issue, and one has been received after VOIPO confirmed they received my adapter return and my account was closed. All of the attached invoices are without any promotions applied, which have been made available since this began.I thought this might be a glitch, but seeing the other similar reviews here leads me to believe this is SOP - and it's not OK.What I am seeking and expecting: stop trying to charge my card. I am not longer your customer, you have confirmed my cancellation, and you have confirmed I returned your equipment. I actually have a credit you should be refunding.Business Response

I received an invoice for 6 months in the future and was automatically charged 7 minutes later. I, at no time, ever gave the company permission to automatically draft funds from my bank account. I called the company to request a refund and also cancel my service, and they said they would not refund until I returned their equipment, even though the error was on on their end and I never should have been charged for a service 6 months in the future in the first place.Business Response

******** customer service and fraudulent practices. We had a phone number ported to VOIPO many years ago and decided to switch to another company back in 2021. Since then, we have discovered that VOIPO did not close out our account and we have been charged for 3 years for a phone number that VOIPO does not own. The exact date we switched companies was April 30th, 2021 and we have even provided VOIPO with proof of successful porting. I have requested for a supervisor to call-back twice now, and no one has gotten back to me, other than unnamed emails denying a refund and stating that VOIPO is never notified when numbers are ported. This is false. VOIPO was in communication with us in 2021, when they provided us a pin code for porting. Furthermore, they had to agree to give up the number to the other company and would have been in communication with them during the porting process. Porting numbers do not happen without confirmation. Despite all of this, they continued to keep our account active and now are refusing to provide a refund. I have spoken not only with our new company, but also with representatives from ******* who have helped us with one of our lines, and they have all confirmed with me that what VOIPO is doing is dishonest and the account should have been closed automatically when VOIPO gave up the number in 2021.
