Purchased a domain from Godaddy website and started building my website. As I was getting close to completion Godaddy website editor tool crashed, logged me out and would not allow me to log back into my own account. I have NOT forgot my password. I was already logged on and working. Now tge 2-step authentication texts wont send, im locked out for 24 hours and spent an hour chatting with absolutely USELESS customer service reps who wouldnt/couldnt fix or even understand their own website. Such garbage! This experience will cost me $$ as I cant finish and publish my site because of some technical malfunction at Godaddy. Never again. Customer lost

I received an email from ********** It told me I had to log into my outlook email acct or they would close it and I would lose all files. I tried for over an hour, but I couldn't remember my password. I tried to get another password but they sent me 2 emails saying they couldn't verify me. Look, I will close my godaddy email acct and go to proton. I don't need this garbage in my life.

For several months I have been receiving spam e-mails from the domain "ochin.org"; when attempting to reach the owners of this domain, all contact information leads back to "godaddy.com". I have made several attempts to contact godaddy regarding this issue, but phone calls are not answered, and abuse reports are not acted upon.

in Dec 2022, one week from Dec 25, 2022, my agency sent out various email marketing campaigns to end the 2022 year with increased business; however, two of our three lines went down during this process. My agency reached out to our vendor (FreedomVoice) to have them reestablish our lines, but until this day, it has not been done.We have a zero balance with the company and have been with them since about 2015. We have requested on numerous occasions for them to transfer/deport our three numbers, **************, **************, and **************, to our new vendor, who is now providing our phone services. For some odd reason, they are not releasing the number to our new phone provider.************************************, DBA., has made numerous calls to FreedomVoice, and on each call, they would say the number is unblocked, but the new provided keeps telling us they are blocked by FreedomeVoice, and they can not be transferred/boarded with the new provider.******************** has even contacted our corporate attorneys on this matter, and they sent out a letter stating the number transfer is our right and to transfer the numbers or they would be reported to the (1) ********************************** (2) The ************************* still no movement to transfer/onboard our numbers. Thus, given 10 days to comply, which as of this complaint, they still have not honored this agency's wishes of the transfer/boarding of numbers to 8x8.Pursuant to 47 DFR sect. *****, a porting request must be completed within 1 business day. Since ******************** is a member of the BBB, it is the wish of ******************** to see if BBB can have better results in solving this matter; as of this date, the agency does not have the numbers that we have all of our marketing tied too, nor are the line active any longer so they may ring into the agency home office. In short, they are hampering our business development by us not receiving inbound calls from the business community.

FreedomVoice, a GoDaddy company, provides small business telecom solutions.

Upon conducting business with FreedomVoice, our customer acknowledged and accepted our agreements, found at *******************************************************.

On November 1, 2022, GoDaddy was notified our customer had initiated a chargeback against the latest Freedom Voice renewal transaction, withdrawing funds paid to GoDaddy and suspending their services.

The Freedom Voice plan was suspended, pending resolution of the chargeback.

Our customer contacted our Care Team to resolve the suspension.  Our staff assisted them with reinstating the account in effort to keep the account in good standing.

      RESOLUTION:

FreedomVoice upheld its agreements with our customer in good faith and honored its terms of service.

We regret to hear about our customers experience and empathize with their situation.

At this time, we have unlocked the phone numbers in question to be allowed for porting regardless of account status.

Our Carrier Operations Team has advised us that our customer has 30 days from today (March 28, 2023), to port their number to the provider of their choice.  Our customer may initiate this process with their new carrier.

We remain available to assist our customer should they have any future concerns and can be reached at ***********************************************.

Thank you again for the opportunity to address the concerns presented by our customer.

we did speak and will followup with correction of the errors per the ************** this issue is not currently resolved and the minimizing of the impact on business, the times that  the company was called, the ridiculous hold times and inability to use the products purchased and the waste of hours of my time cannot simply be minimized. There is no resolution at this point. which is very valuable and utter frustration. 7. Spoke with ****** on 3.16.2023 waited for over 39 min then multiple minutes >15 for a supervisor I believe that godaddy.com may have monopolized this area and is operating a bait and switch operation.

I was charged $239.76 on March 16, 2023 for items I did not order. I had a monthly recurring charge that was changed to two separate annual charges without my approval. These are illegal fraudulent changes.

      Business Response

Thank you for the opportunity to address our customer's concerns.

      Upon conducting business with GoDaddy, our customer acknowledged and accepted our agreements, found at *********************************************************;

On February 11, 2023, our customer registered the domain in question for a 1-year term via an online transaction.

On February 14, 2023, our customers transaction was flagged for review by our Verification Team, and an email was sent to the address on file requesting verification of the transaction with proper, legible credentials. This email informed them if they did not take action by providing the requested documentation within 48 hours, their products would be at risk of cancelation. Our goal in this process is to reasonably ensure the owner of the payment method authorized the transaction.

Information requested by our Verification Team was not received in a timely manner and the account was administratively locked on February 16, 2023. The transaction was refunded in full to the original payment method and the associated domain was removed from the account.

      RESOLUTION:

GoDaddy upheld its agreements with our customer in good faith and honored its terms of service.

Our customer provided our Verification Team with the proper documentation and their account access and domain name have been fully restored without any additional charges.

While we empathize with our customer's frustrations, ********************** has a vetted process in place to aid in the verification of payments. GoDaddy takes customer security and our commitment to preventing fraud seriously.

Should our customer wish to discuss their concerns further, we can be reached at ************************************************

IDNS contacted me to renew my domain name. I paid IDNS $225 to renew my domain name, georgesse.com, which expires May 26, 2023. I've contacted Go Daddy and Wild West Domains, LLC multiple times. I've talked to multiple service agents on the phone and submitted my drivers licence multiple times as proof of identity to Go Daddy in order to get my authorization key code and reaccess my domain name and account. I've had this domain name for over 10 years and run my art business from my website associated with this domain. Go Daddy has place a clientDeleteProhibited, clientRenewProhibited, and clientTransferProhibited and clientUpdatedprohibited hold on my account. I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THESE HOLDS. GO DADDY WILL NOT GIVE ME MY AUTHORIZATION KEY IN ORDER TO ALLOW IDNS to RENEW MY DOMAIN NAME. This is an abuse of the privilege of holding my domain name. For this reason I do not want to do business with Go Daddy. They are not giving me my access code to allow another service to renew my domain.
