Thank you for the opportunity to address our customer's concerns.

Upon conducting business with GoDaddy, our customer acknowledged and accepted our agreements, found at https://www.godaddy.com/legal/agreements.

On September 16, 2022, our customer purchased *********************** ********************* (***) via an online transaction.  *** enlists our Broker team to attempt to negotiate the sale of a domain that is not available for registration.  Our customer was assigned a Broker, who shared with them that the current owner of the domain was willing to accept $60,000 to sell the domain.  GoDaddy has no control over whether or not the current owner of a domain is willing to sell it, nor do we control their asking price if they are willing to sell.

      RESOLUTION:

GoDaddy upheld its agreements with our customer in good faith and honored its terms of service.

Our customers Broker has notified them that they will be getting a refund of the *** fee and the service has been cancelled at their request.

Thank you again for the opportunity to address the concerns presented by our customer.

Enable the deposits so the credit can cancel the debit.  And we will resume using the service.  thank You!
edit since we won the chargeback. Then this would be a wash and the problem would be solved. It does not make sense to ask us to pay you $725 (when we all already know we won)..just so you all can possibly credit us back (one day) $725.That is the easiest thing to fix and really should have drawn out for this long.

I do not need to confirm my bank account.  It is correct.

I do not need to update my bank account.  It is correct.

I said I needed for you all to ENABLE the deposits (so the credit & debit can now cancel each other out).

I am not able to do that - only GoDaddy can ENABLE the deposits.

Pleaser do so asap so we can be done with this.

Im requesting a full refund from my negative experience using godaddy.com for my website.I signed up for godaddy over a year ago. My website magically stopped working last week.I contacted godaddy and they told me I needed to update my payment info on file since I got a new card and they charged my to use the domain. After they collected payment, my website still didnt work.I contacted them with urgency as Im missing out on business and not receiving any calls. They tell me that because I pay for advertisement through ****** ads, that ****** ads needs to fix this issue because the site is up and running in their end and its ******s problem.I do my research through ****** and realize that its a godaddy issue since I built my website using godaddy.I randomly started getting a godaddy rep **** me who said he had info to fix the issue. He mentioned that though they had my updated payment on file and my purchase of the domain name worked, but they didnt renew my expense of paying for their website and marketing.Makes no sense because I never cancelled it, they had the updated payment. Why would some product renew and the other not?So he told me that if I made the purchase that they could help me restore my website and fix this as seen in the screenshots.I made the payment and finally got access to my website which godaddy deleted. The guy failed to mention they deleted it, though telling me to pay so that it could be restored. Then says I need to pay $60 more to restore it back to what it was.At this point, I feel lied to, I feel like Ive been scammed, I feel like their customer service is terrible and they lose me as a customer for life. They can have the domain, the website.I want my money back. You can see through a 3rd party site that I had nearly 100 clicks from ads last 30 days, 0 last 7 days since this started. They are literally ruining my business and damaging my ability to make money.

Thank you for the opportunity to address our customer's concerns.

Upon conducting business with GoDaddy, our customer acknowledged and accepted our agreements, found at https://www.godaddy.com/legal/agreements .

      On September 5, 2021, our customer purchased **********************'s Websites+Marketing (W+M) product for a one-year term. W+M is a proprietary, do-it-yourself, template based product for constructing a website.

At the end of our customer's purchased term, ********************** attempted to renew their W+M service in accordance with their account settings. Unfortunately, their financial institution declined our payment requests. The W+M service was canceled from our customer's account on September 10, 2022.

On September 10, 2022, our customer contacted ********************** to update their payment information. During this interaction, their domain name registration was renewed. Unfortunately, the W+M service had already been canceled from their account and was unable to be renewed.

On September 12, 2022, our customer purchased a new W+M plan via an online order.

On September 13, 2022, our office waived the standard website recovery fee and restored our customer's website.

      RESOLUTION:

GoDaddy upheld its agreements with our customer in good faith and honored its terms of service.

On September 13, 2022, our office contacted our customer to address their concerns. During our call they expressed their desire to cancel their domain name and the W+M service. At their request, we canceled the services in question and issued a full refund.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience this situation may have caused our customer.

We appreciate their candid feedback regarding our service levels and will review their experience in an effort to identify improvement opportunities.

Thank you again for the opportunity to address the concerns presented by our customer.

I upgraded my account with godaddy to receive a better product. When I did, GoDaddy did not migrate the site properly to the new hosting. I have ever since not been able to do anything with the site. I have been trying to contact GoDaddy for two weeks, every single time they just hang up on me when I call or disconnect me when I chat as soon as they say "let me look into it" I need this issue fixed and I cannot do it without talking to the company

Thank you for the opportunity to address our customer's concerns.

Upon conducting business with GoDaddy, our customer acknowledged and accepted our agreements, found at https://www.godaddy.com/legal/agreements.

On January 20, 2022, GoDaddy sent notification to our customer advising them that we were migrating the content on their Business Hosting plan to a newer server and advised we would send another email with more information closer to the migration date.

On August 3, 2022, GoDaddy sent notification to our customer that we had completed the migration to a newer server and provided the new IP address for reference.

Due to an unforeseen technical issue, a new IP address was generated and another notification was sent to our customer on August 16, 2022. The new IP address was also provided. Our customer also upgraded their hosting plan later that same day from Enhance Business Hosting to Grow Business Hosting.

Our customer contacted our Care Staff multiple times on September 6 and 7, because the changes they were making to their site were not displaying when the site was viewed on a browser. Our Care Staff correctly identified a domain forwarding issue and would later identify incorrect DNS that was changed between interactions.

      RESOLUTION:

GoDaddy upheld its agreements with our customer in good faith and honored its terms of service.

The site appears to be live, however, our offices attempts to confirm if our customers concerns have been resolved were not successful. We look forward to working with our customer to resolve any unresolved concerns they may have and can be reached at [email protected].

Thank you again for the opportunity to address the concerns presented by our customer.

We hired GoDaddy marketing to re-build our website back in November of 2021 and it's been a 7-month process with ZERO results we could use. They brought absolutely nothing new to the table creatively, and I had to go through every single link on every single page to see if they were making updates correctly. They did not take the initiative to make all of our pages uniform and every single item I had to re-send to them multiple times. They would make 1 correction and would leave dozens not fixed on each request. They made over 130 published authors admins our website on accident when there should have only been 1 admin ever. This went on for over 7-months and they wasted hundreds of hours of our time. This was the worst experience I've ever had working with a website team and host. We had to hire a new website developer in the middle of this nightmare who finished a brand new site in less than a month. They have refused to refund any of our money.

BBB Business Profiles are provided solely to assist you in exercising your own best judgment. BBB asks third parties who publish complaints, reviews and/or responses on this website to affirm that the information provided is accurate. However, BBB does not verify the accuracy of information provided by third parties, and does not guarantee the accuracy of any information in Business Profiles.

When considering complaint information, please take into account the company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.

BBB Business Profiles generally cover a three-year reporting period, except for customer reviews. Customer reviews posted prior to July 5, 2024, will no longer be published when they reach three years from their submission date. Customer reviews posted on/after July 5, 2024, will be published indefinitely unless otherwise voluntarily retracted by the user who submitted the content, or BBB no longer believes the review is authentic. BBB Business Profiles are subject to change at any time. If you choose to do business with this company, please let them know that you checked their record with BBB.

As a matter of policy, BBB does not endorse any product, service or business. Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation. BBB charges a fee for BBB Accreditation. This fee supports BBB's efforts to fulfill its mission of advancing marketplace trust.
