We signed up for pest spraying every other month, including baiting rat traps. They have been doing that for about six months. About a month ago they came out and gave us a quote on doing some screen patching on the roof and attic and sanitizing and trapping and totally doing exclusion on two sheds. They gave my husband 2 days to clean out both sheds. when they came out to start the work they finished the screen .patching but they told us they would not be able to do the exclusion. They said the one shed floor was not in good enough condition and the other shed didn't need it. We (And they) were not aware of the condition of the sheds We have paid half of our bill and now they are saying that we did not. They keep coming out to do a (follow up) but nothing is getting accomplished. They make appointments without asking if it is convenient for us. I even got an e-mail this morning that they finished the (follow up) this morning but they were not here and the appointment was not till 4 this afternoon. Since the extrusion was the major part of the job we want the balance of the contract forgiven. I learned a good ******* if they come to your door -you don't want it.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

The door to door salesman was nice but I was totally taken off guard after signing the contract. We dont want to marry you, we just want to dateCancel anytime even though the contract is hard to read and has a hefty cancellation fee.The claims department circles around after circling back making things confusing and will continue to lower payment. Either make it to the small claims department or pay for the hefty cancellation fee or just never use this service provider no matter what they say and how friendly they are.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

We entered a contract with them for general maintenance around our home to keep it pest free. Eco Shield recommended that we remove all of our old insulation in the basement and replace it with new insulation as it appeared to have signs of pests (mice) from the previous owners that had occupied the home. We agreed and spent over $1,800 on the service. The technician that came out was by himself. He came in with all his supplies and left with all of his supplies including any garbage that needed to be removed that of which included the old insulation. My father in law was onsite to monitor and update my wife and I as to the progress. My father in law also offered to lend a hand and help with taking out the garbage after he had completed the job. The technician was adamant that he and only he handle the garbage. My father in law thought it was strange that he did not want any help but never the less did not argue and or insist on helping further. A few days later I noticed a pair of shoes missing from my storage space where I keep them. I do LOVE shoes and have some VERY nice pairs! When I could not find the specific pair I was looking for I just thought maybe they were somewhere else in the house. I decided to wear another pair, but couldnt find that pair either, weird. I continued to inspect my shoe collection in the storage portion of our basement where the technician spent the majority of his time only to find out I was MISSING 4 pairs of shoes totally over $700 in retail...that does not account for buying them from a third party retailer! Nobody outside of my immediate family had been in our basement. Eco Shield refused to pay for the stolen shoes. They refused to refund us any money from the services they performed. We have since ceased working with them and terminated our contract. BOTTOM LINE IS...THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM! I should note, this matter is STILL under police investigation as I did file a police report against Eco Shield!Ecoshield Pest Solutions

It is a dishonest and scam company. It took me a while to cancel service and then they starting to argue that I owed them payment because premature cancellation. Well, they have aggressive salesperson. They promised that they can cancel previous service for me and never carry out their promise. Instead, they want me to do it myself. They also claimed their product is the best. That is a lie too. They should be banned to do business anywhere.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

Signed a contract for 12 months and they tried to continue services after the contract was completed. I had to call to cancel the services they were trying to continue charging me for. Then I had to listen to them try to sell me more at a discounted rate. If they can do the same services at the discounted rate why was I being charge more to begin with??? This is because there is no set price the salespeople make it up and see what youll agree to. After saying I wanted to cancel since I fulfilled the contract I was asked to wait to make my decision in November and do this whole charade over again. I never had any bugs inside until they started services and then there were bugs everywhere. The 30 minute service is more often 5 minutes which I know because I have sat at home and watched them come and go. They often send the notes of the service after the 30 minutes have passed to claim they worked for that entire time. I was also told by the salesman that it would be quarterly that they would come out. Then I was provided a contract that only gave bimonthly options. I only kept with them for the 12 month period cause I didnt want to pay the outrageous cancellation fee.Salesmen love to say they know so and so down the street and they work for them but in reality they dont.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

My actual rating is a 0. WARNING!!!!AVOID USING THIS COMPANY!!THE SALE, CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PRODUCT IS HORRIBLE!! Do not entertain opening the door to the sales person. ***** promises from sales and never able to reach the sales person again. So unprofessional. I paid a one time fee for having them spray for wasps at another property. They set him up on a 1 year contract without his knowledge and never gave him a copy of the paperwork and when they called to come back he said no, so they charged my card again for $250 cancel fee. When I called them, they told me they would not refund the money even though they had never made another treatment. They told me to get it back from the contact holder. They are very dishones. I live in a senior community and was told that the management company authorized them to do pest control. That turned out to be a lie. I signed for the service but was actually signing a contract for 2 years. As a senior citizen with a severe visual impairment I feel that I was taken advantage of. When I learned of the initial deception, I called to cancel future services. That is when I learned that I unknowingly signed a contract. I had to pay a $200 cancelation fee and hopefully I am done with these scam artists. Beware.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

This company is a total scam . Do NOT sign on with them. I was interested in changing to what was presented as a more natural chemical treatment including treatment of the yard. However, I have dozens and dozens of spiders in my home now and have not had a spider problem in the three previous years with a different company. When I call to complain I get a call center that is not helpful and they give me the run around about a cancellation fee. If it sound too good to be true, it probably is!Ecoshield Pest Solutions

Would give a 0 rating if I could. The first service they never showed up and charged me anyways. They did send someone after I complained. All subsequent services were subpar. They spent no more than 5 minutes here, didnt spray perimeters and I watched them just dust down cobwebs in the ceiling corners of the garage. I had to keep a second pest service going just to make sure I didnt have wasps and pests. I finally told them to stop coming and now they harass me at least 3 times a week about paying a cancellation fee. I told them I already spent too much on their inadequate services this far and the fee should be waived. They are a scam, turn the door to door salesman away.Ecoshield Pest Solutions
