Avoid this company. I've was told THREE different stories about canceling my service with this company and did the steps outlined by two different customer service reps.1. I first spoke with someone on the phone on April 3 that I wanted to cancel our service because we were moving and no longer needed service at this address. The reps said would note this on our account, but made no mention of the need to complete one more service to satisfy the terms of our initial agreement. All he said was I needed to send an email confirming our request to cancel, which I did.2. I was then bombarded with emails and texts about why I wanted to cancel service, even though I already told a rep that the reason is we're moving. Yet there is no indication in these previous emails that I need to do more or there is any record of my initial cancellation request/reason.3. I received a text message April 5 saying I have not fulfilled the terms of the initial service agreement and I will be charged $155 for the first treatment if I don't complete this final treatment. This is the first time anyone from Ecoshield told me of this final requirement. When I first signed up for service, I was told we need to do four treatments to satisfy the initial agreement, which we had, but at this point, I'm getting so many different stories from Ecoshield, I don't know what is actually required and who's telling the truth. I responded to the text to agree to move forward with the "final" service and proceed to cancel the contract after fulfilling that obligation. Then I received an email on a Saturday saying I'm going to be charged for not fulfilling my service agreement unless I call customer service and speak with ********************. However, the office is closed Saturdays, so I can't speak to anyone. This is despite the fact I responded via text, and the response indicated that was satisfactory.Shady sales practices and confusing cancellation process. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

They do not abide by the original agreements. Their employees all have different answers for same questions. I was told , no product gets rid of flying insects, but you pay extra for a mosquitoes treatment. They are constantly changing schedules to benefit them not customers. I signed up for ******************** now being told I have to request interior. You are locked into this horrible service unless you pay a fee to release yourself from misery.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

I would give this business 0 stars if that were at all possible. The contract is deceptive with the terms of service. When I agreed to sign up for 1 year, they noted the 12 month contract required 5 services. The fees charged did not reflect the discussion I had with the sales team and the service was not at all what we discussed. I called to cancel after the first unsatisfactory service which occurred about three weeks after signing the contract. A "manager" called to ask me to remain a customer. If I agreed, he told me that he would set up a plan with discounted payments and no cancelation fee. However, today, I called to cancel our service since there has been no value for our $. After listening to several attempts to dissuade me, I was casually told there would a $212 cancelation fee. This was NOT the agreement. I will be filing a complaint. This company charged me $1,258 for termite service when all they accomplished was setting one trap outside my house that I don't believe even had any bait or product in it. It then took my over 2 weeks to get a manager to my house to "review" my cancellation request. **** saw that there was only 1 trap, again, no bait or product, removed the one trap and I advised him that his office manager was a terrible at communicating with people and she should be banned from speaking with customers. I have now been in a 2 month long dispute process with my credit card company as it seems that whomever on Ecoshield's side will not process a refund. I fail to see how an empty bait trap is worth $1,258. This company either doesn't know how to run a business with good and proper business ethics or they are being run mafia-style. At some point they need to be closed down or they need to radically alter how they are conducting business.**This is important to note, I want to give them no stars, or negative stars. Having to give them 1 star almost wants to make me not even post a reivew.**Ecoshield Pest Solutions

Deceptive sales practices and nearly impossible to speak with someone that can provide any solutions. Contract is opaque with the terms of service. They noted the 24 month contract required 9 services but the agreement only reflected 5 scheduled dates. When I tried to cancel, I had to pay $200 in order to do so.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

Can I give less than one star?Came to my door unsolicited with promises of great savings and service. I killed a lot of wasps myself. Then hit me with $235 cancellation fee. I strongly recommend avoiding Ecoshield.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

Do not sign up with these people!!! I was told they spray the perimeter of my house and garage outside and the basement inside. The process would take 1-2 hours each time. The 1st took about 20 minutes and they sprayed the ground around the perimeter of the house only. The charge $75. The next time the person walked around sweeping a few cobwebs and the perimeter of the house only. This took less than 15 minutes. The charge this time was $179. I told them to cancel the contract due to price and them not providing the services they said they would. Now they want me to pay $171 to cancel the contract. DO NOT DO BUSINESSWITH THEM!!!Ecoshield Pest Solutions

Their rep told me it was for 1 time and that there was no commitment but then I found out it is a 1 year contract. After 1 year was up they kept coming and charging my card even though I no longer had a contract with them. It was such a headache to cancel this service. Never in my life I met this kind of company.
