Unhelpful and lack of empathy. Can't call the company for help they want you to complete everything online and that is still no help. I tried canceling my subscription in which they said I could have a refund within 30 days of cancelation and I have yet to been able to speak with anyone to get this complete. My first attempt went through 2 different agents and various verification codes sent via text and email seems like a complete scam and I feel completely robbed. Bad customer service because you can barely find a telephone number to speak with anyone and when you do its no help

Hackers accessed my account and purchased 200 dollars of software that they then gifted to themselves.Multiple web forms entered and calls placed and still no favorable resolution, with Microsoft support saying essentially 'You bought it since it came from your account. No refunds.' without even addressing the clear indicators that it was a hack.

My husband purchased a laptop and was prompted for our credit card number without realizing he was signing up for a subscription. I cannot speak to a real person or get a hold of anyone to request a refund or cancellation of whatever this is. He already has a microsoft account through work and does not need or want one at home.

Called customer service only trying to upgrade my Windows 10 to 11 and had a simple issue to solve and the representative placed me on hold for an hour. LITERALLY one hour. This is a disgrace of a business to have this poor customer service and bad employees for customers of their product since ****.

I recently tried to renew my account so as to use Microsoft ************* etc. and was unable to. Tried resetting pins, passwords, email accounts - to no avail! The only "support" that is available is a bunch of articles from others who couldn't get their problems resolved, creating a frustrating perpetual cycle. From a business standpoint, it's brilliant - you give them your money, and you get no support in return. But from a customer standpoint - frustrating, useless, and a sham. And given their unchecked pattern of behavior, hopefully a class-action lawsuit can finally come from this as others have also given them their hard-earned money.

Can't buy anything from microsoft.com because it requires a outlook email. B.s. I use ******* I tried signing up for one and permanently locked my outlook email. I'm not giving it a phone number to verify my email. Ms has removed the option to use other email alternatives as I've bought stuff before from their website with my gmail email. This b.s. is why I have to go to the physical store to buy c***

I recently got a new phone and didn't realize I had to change the verification number, now I'm locked out of my account, I spent hundreds of dollars on games, and xbox live, I spend hundreds of hours playing games, to just have it all stolen from me by Microsoft, they could help and let me back into my account, but they won't, this service is trash, the 2 step verification is seriously flawed, the hundreds of complaints online about this same situation, I just want my account back, but they refuse to help me, my name is ***********************, and I don't think it's fair that they can just steal your account, hundreds of dollars just gone in an instant

Don't use Microsoft ad service. I answered their questions and their software created an ad. I launched the ad that they created and later when I could not get into my account, I contacted them and was told the ad had been banned and they couldn't tell me why because it is not done by a person but technology so no one knows why it was banned. I was told the ban was final and permanent. I have found that thousands of ads are banned as mine was. I was also told that even if you work with a Microsoft specialist to create an ad, the ad could still be banned. I don't understand this. I have never dealt with anything like this with other places that I have done advertising with. The bottom line is don't use Microsoft ad service!

Hi My name is *****************************. Microsoft lied to me about receiving refunds for Atomic Heart Video Game and The Outer Worlds DLC. I haven't received a refund for either and I didn't even get the game back after my refund failed on there end. Don't trust Microsoft. They will s**** you over in a heartbeat.
