      Vivant came soliciting in our non soliciting neighborhood. We took a chance on them. For the first several months it seemed like the best security system ever and then a year later down the road, our equipment began to malfunction. The garage door opener stopped working, the front driveway camera stopped working. They refuse to send someone out here to fix it, they send us replacement parts to install ourselves with no direction. Ive contacted tech support several times to get it resolved but nothing comes of it. So I'm paying for a service that doesn't even work. It's a scam.

      My young adult son got scammed by him 2 weeks ago, spent over 2nhours on the phone with the company, won't honor what the salesman promised (30 day no strings, worry free trial). He signed an agreement (5 pages of small writing) on the word of what this guy was saying (nieve) and now the company is saying that the trial is only 3 days and the only way out of the agreement is to pay the $3,500 equipment fee. We are scheduled to talk to yet another manager on Monday. Don't fall for it unless you are willing to pay for 5 years. Not to mention, the alarm went off in the middle of the night twice in the 2 weeks he has had it! The salesmanship name is ****** ****** and he is one smooth talker. He stood next to my son while he was signing the paperwork "generalizing" what each document said and so it was signed on trust. Don't fall for this ****************!

      Vivint is the worst security company to deal with. I am a customer for more than four years, 3 months ago i sold my house and called Vivint to cancel my account. I already paid during the four years for my equipment and I own nothing to Vivint. I have been trying to cancel my account since March 4th and they dont cancel my account. They keep making excuses and transfering me to different people. Its so frustrating. I will never do business with Vivint again.

      This afternoon one of their wonderfully unprofessional solicitors, who walked right past a NO TRESPASSING, and not one but two clearly posted NO SOLICITING SIGNS. One which clearly denotes NO DOOR CREWS. When I called down the stairs only to hear bro, Im just (unintelligible)I sated that I wasnt interested, and for close to 5 mins this went back and forth with me stating that there were clearly posted no soliciting signs only to hear but bro, but bro finally I was able to walk away from what I was doing and approached the canvasser and asked if they had been at the door, they responded that they were here to help the families, I asked with what, the response with their security for the kids and families I asked for then to identify who they were and for a card for the company that they represented, they were badged but I could not read it, they then stated that they didnt want me approaching, understandable, so I asked for a card, which they declined to do, stating that they didnt want to talk to me, I echoed the sentiment and as I turned to go inside I could hear them say something else, which I couldnt quite make out, but the tone and inflection were not friendly. This really was unnecessary, unnerving, unprofessional and downright harassment. I will await a response from the business before calling the local police to file a complaint. Not to mention there are 3 security apparatus on the front of my home, so why bother bothering me in such an unpleasant manner?

      I would give zero stars I was lied to about promotion saying at the end of the promotion Vivint would contact me and give me option to cancel the product with obligation to sign with contact and can back out any time with no charge Vivint will not let me cancel service and Vivint never contact me 30 days prior to promotion ending. It company I want nothing to do with.

      Completely unprofessional and predatory sales practices!!! Leaving this review to report their door to door sales team is ringing doorbells at 9pm at night after us not answering the door earlier in the day while we were working. Also would like to point out our neighborhood has a no solicitation sign so the fact they were there in the first place was not okay. Thank for sending them to make up my two year old and now I get to spend two plus hours to get him back to sleep. This is beyond unprofessional and unacceptable!

      I wish I had checked out the BBB before purchasing this fraudulent company's system! I just went through 13 pages of reviews -- all were 1-star ratings, all with complaints and equipment failures. I went to the last page of 269 and there again, are 10 listings with one-star ratings. BBB, HOW CAN YOU GIVE THIS COMPANY A B+ RATING?? Were you bought out? Thought you were supposed to be on the side of the consumer? I don't need to add to this mess, but a few issues we've had are the same as everyone else. We've had the system for almost 3 years, and it's difficult to find how to reach a customer service person. As soon as we've paid for the equipment, we will be boxing it up and returning it to *****, UT!! Moths set off the notification, being in the house 10 minutes before we get a notification that someone is lingering in the yard -- yeah, it was me!! The smoke alarm goes off when no one is cooking and there isn't any smoke anywhere. Medium-sized moths will also be detected and cause a notification in the middle of the night. We were told service calls were free -- not so, it's $100 for them to come out and repair their equipment. We bought when our neighbor bought, and the salesman came across the street and said they had purchased. They have had more issues than we have. So add two more unhappy people to the list -- as if Vivint cared.

      This is the worst company ever!! Every time I call, they never have any of the notes from the previous calls that I ever had with them. I canceled them back in December and they continue to take money out of my account. After I have paid in full along with all the equipment, they still continue to send me bills. After I continue to call their customer service, they sent me an all different directions. Never could get a supervisor on the phone. I even said that I am going to seek legal advice because of their corrupt customer service and their company. They continue to harass me and it is countless hours that I am on the phone for finally having somebody actually look at all of the notes that are clearly not cattery categorized correctly for them to find out that oh she actually did cancel and she is paid in full. But then cannot have any recollection of any notes whatsoever after I have documentation that their company is totally corrupt. Do not use this company. This is the worst company if you can't trust their customer service how can you trust their safety of yourself in your home.

      I am usually a very kind and generous person, until yesterday I was bothered by a young salesman walking around in my neighborhood while I was throwing the trash away. At first he seemed so nice and then he started introducing himself that he works for vivint smart Home Security system company. He was very good at pressuring me into buying the installation from vivint. He gave me a good offer then I went ahead and had to buy it. He even wanted to come into my home without my permission so I went ahead and let him in to check on something that he was going to see if I was able to get the security installed. So I had to let him in. I felt something wasnt right, but he kept on pressuring me and also called in his technicians in to do the installation in my brand new home. I already told him and had asked him at first that I didnt want any drilling or holes in my new home and he said no there will not be any. I said a few times I wanted to think about everything before buying his product just for a couple days, but he kept on pressuring me. Little did I know that both of the techs had put large holes into my wall and 4 holes on the bottom of my doors. Omg, I was so hurt and sad plus I told them to stop immediately and leave. They didnt do anything but put fillings in my holes and left me with no idea that this was going to happen. They only wanted to rip me off and didnt care how I feel about leaving holes in my new house. They literally saw that I wasnt happy and stopped what they were doing, they even seemed mad that I didnt like holes in my new house. Those people are so rude and are a bunch of rip offs. They left me feeling bad and invaded by them.

      I am usually a very kind and generous person, but after being bothered by one of their salesman going through my neighborhood and asking me my name and then he started telling me about all these good things about vivint. He gave me a good deal on the installation, so I went ahead and have their technician came in to install them for me. Little did I know they made 4 holes in 2 of my doors and holes into my wall in my new house without letting me know before hand. I got so upset that I told them to patch it all up and I didnt want anything to do with them. I will tell everyone not to do business with them. They have poor customer services and only want to take your money. They dont care about how you feel when you have been left with a bunch of holes in your home.
