      This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a company. First, in order to come out AT ALL I was told that I would be required to pay for a monthly subscription. This was clarified after I had already been told by a technician that they should be able to make a one time service. I explained that I would be moving and didn't own the property anyways, and was told it would be very simple to cancel and they wouldn't charge me an early termination fee. I reluctantly agreed and scheduled a day and time for the technician to come out. I was told they would be treating the property for wasps as well as spiders, my main concerns, and all of their other typical pests. When the technician came out, he was very professional and completed his service fairly quickly. He never even stepped out onto our porch, where we were concerned about wasps, but said they shouldn't be a problem because he treated the area under the deck. He also (before leaving) stated that another tech would come out in about a month to check the traps he had left. It has now been almost 3 months, with zero follow up at all, and we need to move. After communicating this to Fox and explaining that I needed to cancel, I was told I would be required to submit proof of a move. Since we were on vacation and hadn't received mail at our new address yet, the company took the opportunity to take an additional monthly payment from us. Not to mention, after the tech left, we have had just as many spiders and wasps as ever! Overall, I felt that I received absolutely nothing in return for the hundreds of dollars spent, and the company itself used very deceptive tactics repeatedly to get as much money from us as they could. I would never recommend this company to anyone-- oh, and we are STILL waiting on mail just to be able to cancel our service. Stay far, far away.

      Well, after reading all of these complaints, I decided to call and cancel the service with Fox Exterminator's. I was told by ****, a salesperson for the company, that my charge was dropped to $121.00 since I am retired and cant afford the full $400.00. He warned me to not tell anyone. They took the $121.00 out of my account the first month and billed me $59.99 the next month. So I called the company at on September 14th, 2023 at 1:12 p.m. and spoke to ******. I told him that I wanted to cancel the service with them and after arguing with him he told me they would deduct the $250.00 fee from what I had paid. Now mind you they we only at my house once to spray. This company is a scam and I cant believe the BBB has given them an A+. Read all the complaints on this company. Very shady salespeople and employees. I actually think they need to be shut down. I gave them one star because I had to. Stay away from these people. I can picture them laughing at all the people they rip off. Plus what exterminating company charges you to cancel their service! Scammers and rip off artist!

      My Mom was completely scammed by this company. Reading the reviews, it sounds like the same practice of being deceptive and taking advantage of an elderly person. the salesman came to the door, my mom said she would agree to ONE spray. The sales person never ever told her she was signing up for an entire subscription costing hundreds of dollars. She stated she would do one spray and see how it works. Then he had her sign the "little device" as my mom stated. As soon as she saw her email stating recurring payments, she called them immediately and was told she signed the contract and nothing they can do (except charge her for cancellation which i believe was stated to be $250. My brother called, left a message. When someone called him back, once stated what the problem was, the phone disconnected and the person never called back. We did try and call back after that as well with no luck. This company should absolutely tell people up front that they are signing up for a yearly subscription and what the total cost will be. My mom was taken advantage of because of her age this company using the "well, you signed the contract" This was done to her at an extremely horrible time as well, as my Dad had been in the hospital critically ill. Deceptive, and a Scam and needs to be looked into by the BBB as I see the same story with other reviewers.

      Horrid company--prey on customers that are seeking help. I was promised the world in regards to what they would do to help us get rid of the rats that were invading ** from a neighbor's property. In reality, they placed 3 small poison boxes (that I could of purchased myself) on a 6 acre property and called it a day.After an initial $300 fee to do that and a signed contract with them to continue paying them for nothing, never heard or seen from again.Tried to reach them by phone several times to no avail. The monthly bills kept coming. Will have to pay them for all the months I was not able to reach them and a $250.00 extortion fee to get out of this scam of a contract. Or, face the consequences, as threatened to me by their office manager, *******************************. She promised to report me to the credit agencies.Take note. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY. They will do nothing but take your money. One of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with it.

      Dont waste your time with this company. They push you in to long time service agreements and dont deliver. I called them due to a boxelder infestation. They came and treated the outside. I mentioned a vole problem and the service provider set up a trap. I was told hed come back and address the ants in my house. The infestation continued unabated. I read how to kill them with soap water and spent hours daily killing them and destroying the eggs. I called to say we still had a problem. Another provider came out. I showed him the boxelders on the fence as they primarily gathered there. He said he was not allowed to spray fences. When I brought up the vole trap he said that was extra money so he took the trap with him. I continued killing them on my own as the spray didnt work. I complained again and someone else came out. He said he could spray the fence but never received the inside treatment. I continued to kill the boxelders every day until they were finally gone. When I asked to end the contract because they never delivered I was told Id have to pay it out. Avoid using Fox Pest Control and if you must avoid any long term contact.

      Let me start by saying the technician that comes out, she's really nice. I liked her. But when dealing with the material they use (not working, at all) it's really a waste. They come out every 2-3 months but charge you monthly. The bugs never stop ,doesn't even slow down. When contacted the reps that you deal with over the phone are a joke. They harass and bully you ,when you request to cancel they do not let you cancel and threatened they will continue taking from my account . They make up contracts or add stuff to you contract so I suggest you every so often if you've already let them scam you into a contract, check your paperwork. I was harassed to the point I blocked their emails and they emailed me from another account. They will not speak with you like an adult but hide behind messages. I warn you to not deal with this company. Definitely a mistake

      I am writing to file a formal complaint against Fox Pest Control, located at ******, ** ***** for the unethical and deceptive practices that I experienced as a customer. ********************** salesperson visited my residence at Newtown, ** *****. This encounter has left me deeply dissatisfied with the company's integrity and professionalism. I would like to provide a detailed account of my experience as it unfolded. Fox Pest Control representative knocked on my door. This was Memorial Day, a holiday, and my family and I had plans to visit our relatives later in the day. Initially, we had no intention of engaging with sales representatives on that particular day, but we decided to hear the salesperson out. During our conversation, the salesperson assured us that if we signed up for Fox Pest Control's services, they would treat both our front and back yards for pests. This was a key selling point for us, as we were experiencing pest issues in both areas.Wasted Time: Given the promise of a comprehensive pest treatment for both our front and back yards, we decided to inquire further about the service. The salesperson spent approximately 45 minutes at our doorstep explaining the benefits of Fox Pest Control, the pricing structure, and the scheduling process.On a subsequent date, a Fox Pest Control service technician arrived at our residence to perform the pest treatment. To our dismay, the technician informed us that the company does not treat both front and back yards as the salesperson had claimed. This information directly contradicted what we were told during the initial sales visit. The technician spent approximately 30 minutes explaining the limited scope of the service, focusing solely on indoor pest control. This was not the service we had been promised and was a significant departure from our expectations. During the technician's visit, The technician assured us that someone from Fox Pest Control's customer service department would contact us NO ONE DID.

      DO NOT EVER CALL THESE BOTTOM FEEDERS! They have you sign a contract but NEVER explain the terms. After paying an initial payment of $162, a monthly charge of $54 that was never verbally discussed was deducted from my credit card. We were led to believe that there would only be a quarterly charge with the technicians visit. Cancellation cost us $250!!!! I will be putting up signs in my yard to warn my neighborhood against this company.

      DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!! TOTAL SCAM!!!. I wanted a one time yellow jacket nest removed, which cost $ ****** plus tax, and next thing I know I somehow was signed up for a binding contract, for which they charge $ ***** a month for, again something I did not want! On top of that, apparently after 3 days, of authorizing for the one time payment of the nest removal, ( or so I thought) and after finding out I was suckered into this contract, it will now cost $ ****** for early termination. They claim they have an A+ with the BBB, after my experience and reading numerous reviews, that is serious B.S. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
