This company is a legit scam!!!!!! They do not protect your money, $600 was easily stolen from my work card from all the way in New York when I live all the way in Omaha Nebraska!!!!!! This is absolutely ridiculous. I immediately called and made a dispute, called 3 weeks later for an update and one of their representatives told me not to call back and to just wait for the credit to hit. This is people hard earned money we’re talking about!!! I have a trip TOMORROW to pick up a loved one that just finished fighting cancer and the money I had for the trip is now gone and they won’t give it back!!!!!! This company needs to be shut down for their lack of empathy and responsibility, they have no sense of urgency to get your money back to you!!!!! So wicked. DO NOT USE COMDATA SERVICES. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. It is surprising they are still functioning & haven't been shut down. If it was possible to give less than one star, I would have selected that option. Our company has been a customer of Comdata for 13 years, & we have received nothing but terrible customer service and fraud charges for unexplained "miscellaneous charges" & "high-risk fees". We had called to cancel our services with them via phone & Comdata representative confirmed that our account was closed & balance was paid off. Months later they are calling again saying that we owe them a balance of $6,339.22 in which the statement reflects these unexplained fees. When trying to contact them for an explanation, we were met with VERY long hold times, & absolutely zero help or insight for what these charges are for. We were told that our account was never closed (even though the representative we spoke with months prior said they closed our account & we had a balance of 0.00). They back pedaled & stated that if we wanted to close our account we had to send them an email. The representative who told us our account was closed never advised us to email, & you'd think that personally speaking to someone would be more effective then sending an email that could ultimately get lost or never responded to. We are not surprised to read other companies reviews that they have had a similar experience. Save your time & money, people.Review fromVincent R

Unauthorized Comdata money was withdrawn from my account. I've called many times, I've been told it's being held up by investigation. Over a month no call back from fraud dept. I been given a case reference and I emailed them to reach me still nothing no call back from them.Review fromDavid V

If you try to reach someone by phone, you are totally out of luck. VERY long holds, and then you will probably be frustrated and your problem will not be resolved. I spent a whole hour on hold, and then the person on the other end was difficult to understand. I would never recommend this "service" - **** ****. I registered a Comchek, presented it to my bank and they received an authorization code. 6 days later the funds are deducted. When I call (the first time) I am advised that my check was "the wrong color" but they won't put the money back on my card. I'm supposed to go to my bank, have them FAX a copy of the wrong color check and a copy of a replacement check of the right color, and they will fix it. Sure. Do yourself a favor and DON'T EVER SIGN UP WITH COMDATA! They charged us tens of thousands of nonsense fees over the several years we were with them. We had about 25 cards (credit limit of around $60k) for our drivers and their customer service was about the worst I have ever seen or experienced from any vendor. As an example, they charged us a "high risk fee of $945" on a statement where our actual usage was under $300. (this was the last month we used them when we were transitioning away from their terrible system). DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EVER! You have been warned.Comdata Corporation

You are only partially correct and trying to minimize the overall terrible experience we had over the several years we did business with Comdata. Only a small fraction of the fees were credited. And I was required to upgrade our account by paying more per card (more than double) to get those credits. And a $945 fee was charged in a month we only charged $300 worth of gas and it was never credited. Who would think that makes any sense at all.Review fromRHONDA W

******FRAUDULENT CHARGES********* What ever you do, try not to EVER get a fraudulent charge to your fuel card. COMDATA WILL NOT HELP! Instead they insist on taking the money out of your bank causing someone like me who is a start up business to become overdrawn. Even though you call immediately and notify them of fraud, they will tell you to contact your bank and have them deal with it. When they (comdata) can put a stop to it. NOPE!! they want the money first, which in return YOU WILL HAVE TO FIGHT TO GET IT BACK FROM THEM. They also like to change their name to collect as well. So if you put a stop to it per your bank, make sure you have all forms of Comdata names they will use to try to pull out. I put a stop to all future payments due to closing our account with them and lo and behold, my bank seen that in past they have used several names in past for payment. You have Iconnect and comdata inc. So if you to need to close out future withdrawals from them, keep that in mind. Also, the other thing they like to do is lower your credit amount and instead of weekly payments, they will CHANGE IT TO DAILY WITHDRAWLS which would be no different then using a debt card. Defeats the whole purpose of using a fuel card with them when you get paid weekly and it would just be feasible to have fuel payment taken out weekly. This company is ruthless and not user friendly. I wish I would have paid attention to the reviews on line would have saved me time and money I was on automatic payments then one day couldn’t purchase fuel had five loads to cover that week they hadn’t pulled funds out of my account for a couple weeks I had about four hundred dollars credit left for fuel had to cancel all five loads lost several thousand dollars when I called them they couldn’t even tell me why they weren’t pulling the funds out on auto pay I then requested to be put on self pay they said I didn’t qualify to many late payments Hello I’m on auto pay called you wanting to know why you aren’t pulling the funds out so long story short I ended up paying them $2,799.00 dollars through a wire transfer said they couldn’t take ach/ debit card payment has to be wire or ******* ******* payment so that cost me $25.00 for wire transfer plus $20.00 dollars for insufficient funds after I told them do not pull any more funds from my account give me the total I owe and I will pay you they tried to pull over $1200.00 from my account afterwards so bank locked my account for me if you have time and money to waste go aheadComdata Corporation
