    I went to PR for vacation and was charged $219 online for the rental car total. Then when I arrived they told me I had to pay 10+ fees which racked up to $370 in total. So not only did I already pay $219 but now I was told at I was going to pay $370 plus $250 deposit. I agreed to it but when I got back from vacation they charged my card $565 and when I called they hung up on me 7 times and then finally gave me a managers number and he was extremely rude and said I dont have the contract right now Ill have to call you back later. They have not called me back and still have my money I do not know what to do

    On September 29, 2023 I picked up a rental vehicle around 1am. I was originally suppose to have the minivan but the ****************** said it was broke down and he was putting me into an suv for the same rate. When it was time for payment he told me that the rental was a $300 deposit and the rental was $301.36. He said he could only put $50 of my deposit on the card and the rest had to be paid in cash. I asked him about my rate because it was suppose to be the same as the one renter and he changed it due to it needing repairs. I also asked about my military discount and he assured me everything would be taken off when we returned the vehicle. I paid him $250 cash. I asked for a reciept and he said we would have to come back in the morning because he corpulent give the company copy which I thought was weird. But after traveling a night and having 4 kids we were ready to go and tired. We stayed in ********* so we weren't close to return the next day. He assured us everything woukd be handled. The day we returned the car, they didn't refund any of my deposit. It's been a week and no contact from the manager. I've emailed him several times. I am owed $300 and it hasn't been returned. The employee, ***** had access to my personal information and bank cards. I left *********** on 10/3. My card was charged 10/7 for a hotel in ************ so I think the employee stole my credit card number and paid for a hotel. We stayed in an airbnb which was fully paid for so now I feel like your employee cheated me out my money and stole my card information and my information was not secured and I want this handled Agreement number ******

    "They are forcing me to purchase additional insurance, even though I already have sufficient coverage with my current insurance company. If I don't comply, I forfeit the amount I paid for the car rental. Furthermore, they don't provide any information about the car's condition. They file claims for damages that were already present on the car. Additionally, their employees do not speak English clearly. This appears to be a major scam, pressuring customers into buying unnecessary products without clear disclosure of what they're purchasing, ultimately inflating the overall cost." If they see damages they need to file a claim with my insurance. They took the information and policy number.

    Rented a vehicle from Nextcar ***********. Upon delivery of vehicle we noticed a strong smell of cigarette smoke. We told the young lady inspecting the vehicles. She stated she cannot switch out the vehicle because its not under her control but she could add a note so that we wouldnt get charged extra or a penalty for the smoke that we did not cause. Upon return of vehicle the male helping us stated we would get our deposit back in 7 to 10 days and that everything was good to go as far as the vehicle. We have been corresponding via email and phone with next car and they have yet to respond with a resolution regarding our refund. It is unprofessional and a total scam at this point. Please reach out before I have to contact my credit card company and have them find a solution with your company since I cannot seem to get a call or email back and settle it on our own.

    I rented a vehicle from NextCar while visiting PR. First I didnt get the car I reserved, I was charged a higher amount from what was in my reservation plus a $250 thats supposed to be returned after you return the car, the first car I was given was far from clean or cleaned at all. I was given a second car, neither were inspected by associates, I have footage of them both obviously damaged at the car lot. It is now 30 days since *** returned the car and my deposit still has not been issued. Associates have played the email chain game with me and to no avail, I still dont have my deposit back.

    I was traveling for work and our travel agent arranged a car rental from Nextcar as this was the only available option on the short notice. The rental agreement was made with the location in ********************. The agreement number was ******. They charged me a $250 security deposit, of which they are failing to refund after over a month. They said it would be refunded after **** days.I called at the 10 day **** when it wasnt refunded, and they told me to wait four more days, I called a week later, they told me to check with my bank, I called 3 more days later and then it was a computer issue. Excuses, excuses, excuses. The only thing I have is two email addresses. *********************, **************************** who is the manager per her footer. There is also *******************************, scarazo@alliedcarrental, his title I do not know. The third contact is ************************ I have called the site directly and they ask me for a credit card number, which I think is a scam, and I have also called their call centers numerous times, all without success. And each representative asks if I have called my bank. It is like they are all programmed to say that. Defect the blame.I just want my deposit back.

    Hello, The company has issued me my deposit back. Thank you! 

    - and was told I would be receiving a receipt to my email address and would be reimbursed for the deposit and additional reimbursement and discount. It is now July 29th and I have yet to receive a receipt or any reimbursement back. The car rental was returned with no damage, regular cleanliness after 1 day use, and extra gas that what was given to me upon receipt of the car. I am in need of assistance to recover my deposit and additional discount from NextCar.

    Booked rental car online. 1) We were told we had paid full amount but when we arrived they also charged us municipal taxes. 2) they have not credited deposited back to credit car. They stated it would **** days. Card was charge June 21st 2023. The 14 days have passed. On the phone I was told it should be done by end of week. Last Friday I was told it should Be credited back that same day or Saturday. My deposit should be returned asap as the **** day has elapsed.They should not hold on to deposits like this, potentially causing their clients to be pay interested in their credit cards for their deposits.

    I was quoted 181$ online for a car rental here and when I arrived they took forever to even talk to me. I waited in line for hours. When I finally got the car there was no gas I waited there for 5 hours and they charged me about 650$ initially and 250 would come back. Well a lot of the charges were for like air in the tire fee or key fee gas fee. Etc. so I feel like they are price gouging and I contacted cust serv. And they had an open investigation and they never messaged back after that and charged my card 445$ which is still more than what they said.
