  *************** Movers stole an entire weight stack from an exercise machine plus additional exercise equipment during a one day. To add insult to injury their missing items claim policy paid ** only a few dozen dollars to what ended up costing us several hundred dollars to replace our equipment. Lastly, they never followed up with us on a supposed investigation into which of their employees stole our items.

  Do not use this company if youre looking for an efficient move. The movers damage items and the customer service stinks. They will protect themselves by saying the total falls within their $300 estimate range. Really disappointing. Management was arrogant and dismissive. There is a reason they are less than competitors. Learned the hard way that you get what you pay for.

  We are sorry that you found our services cheaper than the competitors and the job completed within the estimated quote. Unfortunately, we could not resolve the matter after the move was completed, it seemed like an issue only arose when it came time to pay. In the restaurant business one would say don't eat the steak and then ask for it to be free. Simply ask if can be adjusted. We could have easily assisted! We hate running into circumstances where after service is provided the customer threatens bad reviews for discounts. Let's work together instead!   I had some expensive and rather unique furniture in storage -- in fact for over a deacade! -- and the delivery crew worked hard, quickly, but most importantly were very gentle with both the items they delivered as well as not getting a single scratch anywhere on either the furniture or walls, *********.   The people who actually moved the furniture worked very hard and were easy to work with, but they did not have blankets or bubble wrap to protect some items. A painted side table got 2 big scrapes that cannot be repaired. I bought extra insurance before the move and filed a claim. It has been a hassle to get the claim paid. The person processing the claim said that they mailed it, but no one was home to receive it, so it was returned to the carrier. Despite requests, that person has not shared what mailing company is delivering the check or any tracking information that I can use to see when the check was mailed and when it might arrive, so I can be home. The claim processing person won't even tell me how much the check is for. The whole claim process feels very shady. I filed the claim in February and am still waiting to get it resolved. Based on this claim process, I discourage anyone from using Don Farr Moving.

  In reply to the consumers complaint. Her claim was settled as based on her elected coverage. The settlement check was issued, however, returned to the carrier as undeliverable as the mailing company is the USPS (the carrier is the moving company).   Excellent movers and service! I could not be more happy with this company! Shout out to Crew Leader **** ***** and his team *****, ****, and ****** were wonderful. Super friendly and knowledgeable. They were careful, with our items as well as not damaging the walls when moving large items! They took the time to ask us questions when they were unsure of where we wanted items in the new space. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I would use this company again without hesitation! Thank you Don Farr Moving for excellent service!
