      What a horrible company and experience dealing with this company! I ordered drapes in August and they arrived in September only to learn at that time it would take a month from then to install. After waiting that month they arrived, 80% of the shades and drapes were mis-measured by The Shade Store. Then it two weeks to even get a response about the error and that they would take another month for the next attempt at installation date. At this point we are now looking at a December installation. Here's where it gets good (NOT REALLY). They call me today at 7am with no prior warning or response to my several attempts to speak to a manager about an install date. They tell me at 7am today that the driver is on his way and will be at my home around 8am! Is this a joke? I'm not home. I could have been if they would let me speak to anyone to setup a date/time. They literally tell me that they don't have managers and that there's no one that can talk to me beyond the service rep that answers the phone. This company is borderline fraudulent in my opinion but at the very least this is the most horribly managed company you can ever deal with. Needless to say, run! Don't even get within 100 miles of doing business with this worthless company. They have totally wronged me and now have caused me damages since this has left my home incomplete while trying to sell it. It has made a difference in my showings! They could care less about their customers and now they will find they just crossed the wrong person. I have been honest and descriptive about my experience without embellishment or exaggeration. Now the crusade will begin.

      Ordered shades on 10/11/23 & received them on 10/28/23 to notice the workroom did not measure/cut the valance according to the measurements provided by The Shade Store. In addition to the workroom issue, ****** although she was great failed to mention all of the details prior to us ordering that there would be a noticeable gap at the top of the valance due to the step-down within our window trim. This undoubtedly should have been communicated as I mentioned to her numerous times we wanted a flush look. I emailed ****** immediately in regards to the concerns. Insert ***** whom is a Client Experience Manager. ***** has been awful to communicate with & ignores all of my emails & concerns. I have to follow up numerous times to no avail. A re-measurement was scheduled & the earliest they could do a simple re-measure was 2 weeks. The gentleman who showed up to our home stated the workroom consistently makes mistakes like this. He was unprofessional in the fact he was sitting on our window sill, leaning on our furniture, & was on his phone texting the entire time not being present or focused on the re-measure. This ultimately led to an issue with the re-measure files. After voicing my concerns and frustrations again, ***** re-scheduled a second in home measurement without consulting us first to ensure that would work with our schedule. I asked her why we were not consulted and that we would not be home that day, again no response. It has been 6 weeks since we have received the shades & NO ONE seems to want to help us to remediate the issue. I am appalled with the customer service after an order has been placed. They have no desire to help you with mistakes their own workroom has made. At this point I want a refund NOW & will gladly ship the shades back. I also called customer service & spoke with ******* on 12/4/23 & ******* on 12/11/23 , both stated would let me know a resolution the following day. I have heard nothing from either!! This is a complete NIGHTMARE!!!!

      It was quite easy to order and have the drapes installed almost 5 years ago. I scheduled a maintenance appointment to adjust one panel (they come with life warranty!). 6 appointments and 3 wrong or incomplete part orders later the panels are all over, would not close properly, the strips to adhere the panels to came flimsy and defective so the panels keep falling down. I am devastated! The management does not care at all. Do no buy from the store, it is not worth the money and it will not live up to its *************** warranty!

      Never thought ordering shades would be such a headache. My husband and I went to the Shade Store and talked to *************************** that we were looking for motorized blinds. We said motorized several times never did we once say chain, cord, or anything along that line. About four days later I emailed ****** the color and material we had chosen. Then, I went to the store to place the order and pay. She assured me i would be happy with the blinds. 3 weeks later the blinds arrive and were installed about a week after that. Turns out none of the blinds were motorized. we had spent $4000 on 4 window blinds that we didnt want. my husband and i have been in contact with ******, ***** from the PhoenixAZ store several times. we have called the complaint number several times (over 5 times). Not a single call back. after all the frustration we dont want these blinds because they are never what we ordered to begin with. ****** placed the order and ordered incorrectly. Terrible service and way over priced for something we didnt want to begin with. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

      I love the shades we purchased and the staff in the store, but we got those that you can schedule through an app, but they **** at apps and troubleshooting. I purchased these so that they open and close at certain times because my mother is in a wheelchair and cannot get to certain windows. They put out a new app and no longer supports the old app. The new app now requires an additional piece of equipment, ridiculous!When reviewing the app, all the guy says to everyone isDear, My name is ***************************, I spearhead The Shade Stores IT team. Im so sorry for any inconvenience you may have experienced.Please know, any issues youre experiencing regarding hub setup and connection we can absolutely fix for you.       Ive had a disaster experience with the shade store. I spent over $50k on shades and have had issues since the day they were installed without any success on remedies. The shade store app does not work well for automatic scheduling. The customer service has been abysmal. Ive had a tech at my house 5 times and still having issues with functionality. Buyer beware. I do not wish this experience on anyone. I am an understanding person and hate to leave bad reviews without giving a chance to fix issues. After giving multiple attempts to beg for corporate to fix my problems, I have no other option but to warn others. I strongly suggest going with another provider! I am 3 months into this and continue to experience issues with my shades. For the inconvenience corporate offered a 10% discount! *** spent more money having my designer try to deal with these issues. Absolute nightmare!!!

      The following is an excerpt from an email in April of 2023. We are now nearing August 2023 and the product is still not correct. Lots of promises and awful delivery. We have been waiting for weeks for the sales rep to follow up after the last attempt to installcricketsPoor communication and scary customer service. Be very afraid.We cant begin to express how disappointed we are with this process. From the original order placement to yesterdays failed/partial installation.Our issues include:* The initial order was incomplete and did not include all the products we ordered. We had to do a 2nd order. This then created a situation where the wrong color rail was ordered (we take some ownership for the incorrect rail color but this would have never happened if the initial order was accurate)* The professionals who came to our house to take the measurements did an incomplete job because they did not have the correct ladder (how horribly unprofessional was that?). This lead to delays in finalizing and placing our order. * We have had boxes sitting in the middle of our floor for nearly a month. When moving into a new home this created additional unnecessary stress.* We had installers show up yesterday complaining about the job (claiming they should not even be there). They also did not complete the job because they did not have the correct ladder (again???). This sounds like a common excuse for not completing projects. * Now we have boxes still sitting in the middle of the floor and being told we need to wait another 2 weeks to have the install completedthis is not acceptable. We are expecting guest in mid April and working around boxes, random curtain parts, equipment and an incomplete installationthis is not acceptable.******, you said you would call today with an update but the only call we got was from the scheduling department with an outrageous install date. This is completely unacceptable and not what was promised

      Terrible. There are so many better options out there for window coverings. Please choose any of them over The Shade Store. Spent what equates to a new car at one of their ******* locations and it has been a disaster. Poor customer service, mediocre product, terrible installation and prep. We placed our order more than two months ago and they still can't get things right, even after elevating our concerns to management in ******** (***********************) who after several attempts to speak with ended up snubbing me and passing me over to someone else out of **. First attempt to install our product they sent one guy instead of the normal two for some reason. The drapes in the living room were cut wrong so they had to send those back. The large living room shade was installed wrong and was telescoping on one end causing the shade to fray and wrinkle on the side. The smaller blind in the upstairs bedroom was crooked. The bedroom drapes were incredibly wrinkled and looked terrible. So my wife called the store to go over everything with the store associate and was treated very poorly and given an attitude, which is when I stepped in and started dealing with them. They came out again to fix the large living room shade, fix the upstairs shade and steam the bedroom drapes. They still did not fix the large shade. Even after steaming the bedroom drapes they still look terribly wrinkled but we will live with it I guess. Then the living room drapes finally were shipped back to us. After having the large box sitting in our living room for weeks waiting for them to come and reinstall them, we finally got a date and the installer came. Turns out that the drapes were still cut too long. I mean, how hard can it be to get the proper length correct on the drapes that you have to send them back twice? We are not talking about a few centimeters off either, they were dragging on the floor by at least 3 or four inches. Still haven't heard back from them to fix these issues.

      I had an appointment scheduled for installation today between 11-1:00. An email was sent to me on Wednesday by Elise. I called at 12:15 PM to ask what time they would be here just to be informed that the installation is 4to 6 PM. NO ONE ADVISED ME VIA PHONE OR EMAIL HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. YOU CANT EVEN SOEAK TO A LIVE PERSON Very unprofessional, rude !!
