Filing a complaint now. Deceptive charging and business practices. This is fraud. Our insurance provider (I am a state employee) verified in-network and appointments covered by co-pay. There is now $300 in additional charges.Talkspace

I loved my therapist, but a glitch in their system decided I don't have insurance coverage (I do and confirmed twice with my insurer that nothing has changed), and they started cancelling my appointments. After 3 weeks of cancelled appointments and no help at all from their support staff (they stopped responding to my emails a week ago and they do not have any other way to reach them for help), I am leaving the service. I do not recommend Talkspace and am spreading the word on my experience.Review fromNick A

Their platform glitched and wouldnt let me in for my meeting with my psychiatrist. So not only did i have to go days without my medication, they changed me $175 for missing the meeting THEY made me miss.Talkspace

I've been signed up for 10 days. I'm on my 4th provider because they don't respond. Ironically, yesterday I got a notification from TalkSpace that providers are available 5 days a week and respond in 24 hours. My 1st therapist no-response for 96 hours. My 2nd. No response for 48 hours. My 3rd. No response for 84 hours. I'm on number 4. Nothing. I've paid 10 days for nothing. I submitted a ticket to TalkSpace and they say they will respond within 3 days. 3 DAYS!!!!! Are you kidding me? If you are coming to TalkSpace for mental health issues then run. Using TalkSpace will only contribute to the stress, anxiety and feelings of worthlessness.Talkspace

I've had a wonderful experience on Talkspace. Found both a wonderful therapist and psychiatrist, and it was very easy to get started. Admittedly, the app could be better, but considering the quality of the professionals I've seen on the app, and the ease of access with my insurance, I highly recommend.Talkspace

Once you subscribe, you will be charged almost $400 per month, whether you have credits or not. Those credits will only be able to be redeemed within a small window during that month (disappearing if you haven't used them during that window), regardless of your provider's availability. I now have asked to be refunded for $800 when they canceled my service. Contacting customer service for a refund in nearly impossible, and respond to 'contact us' messages after a couple of weeks. I have now had to dispute the transactions through my credit card. The only thing good about this service was our provider, who did a great job. There is so much potential for an online therapy service, but Talkspace does not reach that potential.Talkspace

I am so done with the customer service here. It takes MONTHS for them to respond to an email and of course there is no number to call for customer service. They just charged my card for over a GRAND when I quite clearly had removed that card days prior and have been going back and forth about getting an adequate super-bill to submit to insurance. For a mental health platform, their customer service is a huge stressful trigger. Have loved working my therapist for the last couple of years, but the rest of this app is horrible and its always glitching.Talkspace

Talk space appeared to be free with our insurance, every time we signed up for a session it told us $0 now we have been charged for every single session.. hundreds of dollars.Talkspace

It is impossible to reach anyone at TalkSpace for assistance with site issues. I wanted to cancel my membership and none of the steps shown on the internet worked. I tried for hours to find a way to reach support but the site took me around in frustrating circles! I finally received an email with a ticket number and, after sending an email back to the support team and received a canned response saying I have to wait "1-3 days" before anyone will contact me. I paid $1108 for the service and expect someone to be reachable. The site is supposedly available 24/7 and they should ensure they have support available 24/7 as well!. It doesn't even have to be good service but the fact there there is ZERO support available for people who are having issues and/or want to cancel their subscriptions is completely unacceptable.Talkspace
