      This company has predatory billing practices. In the sign up process, it says that you will be able to apply your insurance after you have signed up, but this is not the case and it is actually impossible to do this, as following the links it provides just leads you back to signing up (and paying) again. There is no customer support number, but there is a customer support form. I submitted the complaint, and received an automated email with the same recursive link, and the customer support ticket was then marked as completed. Additionally, Talkspace charged an undisclosed 10 dollar to my credit card without any explanation.This company is a scam, and should be ashamed of preying on people trying to improve their mental health.

      It is hard to find a place to be able to review this company, but thank goodness for the BBB. This company doesnt offer great therapy. They have terrible customer service, the app does not work well or allow manual choice of what you need to do. The couple of therapists they matched had very bad reviews online, and they try and match a schedule after finding a therapist, which is a terrible way to do it. Its not great and seems like theres a lot of money going into covering up how bad they are. Avoid.

      This company is a scam and will play mind games with you. I was charged 125, which is what I usually get charged only if I miss a session. I have not missed any sessions and my insurance covers everything. So when I brought it to their attention that my bank shows a charge from talkspace of 125 they told me they do not see anything on their end so they cant refund me. If you want to add financial struggles to your mental health struggles by all means go ahead and sign up for talkspace.

      STAY AWAY!!!! One star was given because there is no option to choose zero stars. When you go through the checkout process there is NOTHING that explains that you will be continually charged and NOTHING stating that you are about to sign up for a subscription!! What i authorized was 4x $99. 4 sessions were paid for up front and that is all I wanted! They appease you by stating nothing will be charged until we match you with a therapist Turned out the therapist was an unprofessional, opinionated person that made me feel WORSE about my situation, not better. By session 4, she didnt even join the zoom call. So I figured, eh.. I lost $99. Ill go elsewhere! Well, 16 months later, I realize my ************** Account was being charged $396/mo!!! That account is set up through my employer and paid into out of my paycheck every week. It is not an active account so I expected most of what I contribute to remain as is, barring a few copays and dental visits. However, when I logged in to see my balance, $6336 of my hard earned contributions was missing!!! They were taking money out every single month! Forget trying to get assistance from a live person! There is not even a phone number that exists linked to this company. This company DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR MENTAL WELL BEING!!! They care about their profits, even if it means STEALING from their unsuspecting customers. Dont waste your time or money! Youll be worse off, not better!

      I am on the verge of taking legal action with Talkspace. I requested my medical records on December 14th, 2023. I still have yet to receive them. In their response, they said they are required to provide them within 30 working days (unless they have good cause to not provide them, **, what?), and I have far exceeded that timeframe. In my state, providers are required by law to provide records within 15 working days. This is completely unacceptable. **************** has stopped responding to me since the 30 day ***** If I could give 0 stars, I would.

      I created an account as it was covered by my insurance at the time. Talk Space ran into issues and couldn't verify it. By that time, I'd done my research and found an actual therapist to work with and attempted to delete the account. I was contacted by them for MONTHS. I reached out multiple times and had people verify that my account was closed/there was no subscription that existed for me/all contact would cease. I would STILL receive contact from them. Years later, I was emailed that my therapist was leaving Talk Space and asked if I wanted to work with a new clinician. I never did work with a clinician then, went through so much BS trying to delete the account, and now years later I'm being told I still have information stored with them/attached to a therapist I never even worked with. I contacted them AGAIN and they said I needed to fill out additional forms now to have it deleted. I completed their stupid paperwork, emailed again, and now I'm waiting hoping they will actually delete it this time. The company is super predatory and unethical. Why they would be storing my information years later when I never even used the platform is insane to me. And why I need to jump through even more hoops now, again, years later, to delete the information I was assured had already been removed is so violating and uncomfortable. Mental health care is vulnerable enough without predatory companies like this trying to take advantage of people.

      This company just charges for services they didnt provide and they are charging out of the blue. I signed up on 10/4/2023. Message the counselor. All she did was ask questions. She never provided and type of support or solutions. After her second question I stop responding. That was back in October. December 19th I get charged $125.00 for service on 10/4/2023. When I signed up it stated no charge. Due to my EAP from work and insurance. If this is a valid charge why did it take over two months from date of service to charge me. Why wasnt I advised in advance? Now ** told no refund contact my insurance provider.

      I appreciate my therapist and have come a long way, but Talkspace is refusing me access to making appointments. I switched my insurance to the new year cycle and had several appointments and a messaging session with no issues. 12/1 it said my insurance had expired. I called my insurance and all the claims have been submitted and approved to the correct insurance, the ensured me my services were being covered. I tried updating it again through the app but it keeps crashing when you select anything that isn't "pay cash" and when you try and submit your email it just says "something went wrong". I have been automatically cancelled from 3 appointments - 4 as of today today I'm sure, since no one will respond to me again after the first email. I have been writing in almost daily since 12/1, I have received little to no help from Talkspace support and during this time they have charged me on 3 separate occasions to the insurance they claim I don't have. How can you say i don't have insurance, ignore my multiple emails for help, and refuse me access to my therapist; but still charge my insurance and card?
