I gave them two tries, and on both occasions, many months apart with different therapists, I had the same experience: they both rescheduled on me right before my appointment. This is exceptionally disheartening to be ditched after youve completed their forms and described the state youre in. I was going to them while my usual therapist was on vacation in the wake of my fathers death; thankfully they arent my only resource. I feel terrible for people that have no other choice.Review fromTed D

My fiance was trying to find a therapist, got charged 300$ and can only cancel the appointment without reimbursement. She tried to call to speak to someone and there is no-one to talk to. They claim to be 5 stars on their website. Its comical there is nothing but 1 stars on BBB.Review fromAnuel P

As others have noted in these reviews, their charges are ridiculous and it is hard to get ahold of anyone to find support. Take note that the copay is not the same as the cost share to them so even though it says $0, it doesn't mean $0 and you can still be charged by them. I was covered by ******* and left Active Duty so I paid out of pocket for a month and was able to regain Tricare as a Veteran. Once I regained Tricare, I was able to receive a partial refund for the rest of the out of pocket month. Now, a month later I receive an email from them stating that I owed them because my insurance didn't cover fully for the month I started? Ok fine I was already charged so it doesn't exactly matter but why do I have to call 3 different numbers and put in 2 support tickets just to get an answer as to why I was charged at all? The customer service is deplorable and there are so many technical issues that it will give you another reason to seek therapy. Ended up canceling my membership. Its a shame because my provider was great and I felt good being able to talk things out but its just so much going on with the Talkspace service themselves that I couldn't do it anymore. Yesterday I was charged $112.December 11 2024 I signed up and my insurance paid for sessions making my copay 27$. I only went to 3 sessions. But months after signing up I get charged over $100? No card is on file on the app and nowhere on the app does it show recent billing activity. They need to have a customer service person to answer the phone and not wait days to figure out if this was a fraudulent charge. Also they need to stop putting the 516 number on the transaction contact because you cant even contact them on that. Just beware of what you can potentially be charged. I mean therapy sessions and the app to use for therapy is great and only paying 27$ was awesome, but something has to change with the contact and having a transaction page provided.Talkspace

I've been trying to get matched with a pyschiatrist for over 3 months. The customer service department won't provide any specifics. ****** one of the **** keeps closing out my tickets indicating the ticket is "solved". Obviously this is still not solved as i still haven't been matched with a provider. I haven't been told if it's due to insurance or anything. I've even offered to pay out of pocket and still can't get any answers. This is people's mental health which is a very serious matter. When you indicate offering a service you need to be providing it. I'm absolutely disappointed in this app. Unfortunately I'm also located geographically in a bad spot for providers and have worked through the Healthcare system to find help around me on my own. Talkspace was my last hope and it's been nothing but back and forth for months. My therapist through the app also doesn't understand because she has claimed other patients of hers have all been matched even after me and I'm the only one still waiting.Talkspace

Literally can't cancel the plan! My son had a bad experience with his first ********* there (she didn't show to the meeting). He also had trouble signing in, but we were eventually able to get it figured out. I want to cancel, but they won't let me! My son's a minor, so I can't have access to his "account". I signed up with MY email to pay, but his email for him to have privacy with the *********. Anyway, NEITHER of us have access to the billing. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARETalkspace

I have had a horrible experience on this platform. To start, there are very few therapists available who match my preferences and scheduling needs. And those that are available are not qualified. One therapist told me in my second 30 minute session with her that I cared too much about my job and that no one at my work cared if I lived or died so I should stop caring. As someone struggling with severe depression and self worth issues, this was not only an insensitive and cruel thing to say but even dangerous. How can a therapist tell their patient no one cares if they live or die?! What if I were sucidal? She basically just told me I might as well kill myself... I left a review for her but rather than get any response from Talkspace, the therapist herself sent me a message telling me ********* was clearly not what I liked and so I should just change therapists if I had such a big problem with it. Seriously?! Where is Talkspace's quality control to prevent these so-called therapists on their platform from doing patients harm.After 4 months of trying to find a different provider, I finally got matched with a new one (***** ******) who is apparently a hypnotherapist, not a real therapist. I looked her up offline and she does not have actual qualifications and has no business being on ********* as a therapist. I have been using Talkspace for 6 months now, or trying to - and it has become clear that this platform is a waste of time and money. I have tried to contact corporate for assistance in find a better provider because their platform is difficult to navigate and was told they can not help me.Talkspace
