      The best business Talkspace does is to cheat their subscribers. I have read many reviews on BBB and everything they say is the same as I feel. Besides being an expensive membership, they promise to refund you for unused sessions. Not true. They only refund a portion. In my case, I only had the first session they offer for FREE. After that I decided not to continue. The same therapist informed me that any sessions I had left if I withdrew they would refund me. I did not have any but they did not refund the total amount I had paid. Only half. The business is not charging to help. It is charging to rip people off.

      I tried to find a time to speak to a therapist the entire month, the first one I was assigned to canceled one session we had scheduled last minute and then did not respond when I tried to find a new time. I switched thinking I must have got someone that was too busy. The next therapist did the same thing, canceled the only session I managed to schedule and then she never responded to my attempts to schedule a new one. I asked for a refund but was told they couldn't as the 300+ dollars I paid had to cover the therapists they pay to be available, but they were never available.

      Made the appt and it was confimed by the therapist and then she never showed up for the session. How can they legally take my money when no service was provided?? This comany needs to be shut down.

      The therapy and providers are amazing (5 stars). However, the customer service has really gone downhill, and the technical glitches in the app requires customer service (1 star). I rated 2 stars because the therapists are inaccessible without tech support. While a few incidents lead to my comment, the latest one: - my credit card was stolen, so I updated the credit card I used on Talkspace to a new number. - I proceeded to get noticed that the credit card wouldnt pay - automatic in app and via emails. - so I updated to multiple cards, each time I get a notice that it cant be charged. This leads me to believe there is a bug in the app. - May 17,2022, I reach out to customer service and start a ticket to have someone look into this. May 20th, May 29th, and June 5th I follow up. No responses. - June 10th my membership is automatically cancelled. Very frustrating. Its June 12th, and still no response. Additionally, any time insurance coverage changes, if I want to apply it, I have to start a brand new plan and get matched to a new therapist. There is no way to automatically apply the new plan or coverage to existing therapist. Twice when this happened before, I was advised to start a new plan, then reach out to customer service to have them manually change therapists. Which was fine the first time, years ago, because response times were fast. The second time, I had a long lag, but eventually got an apologetic note and all things resolved. This time, I set things up again (with the same credit card that my first plan wouldnt accept), but now I have yet a new therapists and no response about switching to my therapist. Which means Im paying for services Im not getting. It just became too much, and I am going to a place that has shorter wait times for customer service. Its a shame - the idea of Talkspace is great. Ive been with them for 5 years.

      I was matched with a therapist who "could not accommodate my timezone" then I was matched with another therapist who was essentially unavailable and missed our live session we had scheduled. Also, the customer service is horrible. I've received no response from them.
