I move from zip code ***** and turned my equipment in on August 6 to the business store in *****, Astound is still charging me for the entire month of August. Does not seem legal when they have all the equipment in hand. How can they charge when I have turn all the devices and equipment to the business. DO NOT get any internet or wifi from this company. Absolute thieves. Avoid this cancerous company at all costs. Your bill will increase without any notice and they will cut service off even if you are setup with autopay. Refuse to give support email or let you speak to a supervisor. I will encourage all 400+ of my tenants to go with satellite if they can.Astound Broadband powered by RCN

Since the Astound stuck its greedy fist into RCN service has been terrible! I have had multiple drops and at one point a full day of lost service that I never saw credit for. Literally what everyone here says, they increase pricing every other month, adding a dollar here and there until you look at a bill from a few months ago and you barely recognize it. Just called to ask for a reduction and after 20 min hold and an unsympathetic service rep, the call concluded with me terminating business with them. Luckily another service just got fiber at a fraction of the cost so **** it astound CYAAAAAAstound Broadband powered by RCN

Worst internet provider, seriously go with the competitor. I called to cancel my plan and they still charged the next month because their incompetent customer agent did not submit the right request (also seemed that he hated his job so not a surprise). They ended up waiving it after listening to the recording and now they are trying to charge me for the equipment that I shipped the last day of my term since they received it two days later even though I was using their ***** label and their customer service rep confirmed I only needed to get it to ***** by the end of the term rather than their warehouse... They try to extract cash from you at every turn and you find yourself calling over and over again to find a solution (one agent even hung up because she couldn't figure out what they were charging me for and couldn't get a hold of her supervisor after I waited ~30 mins for someone to take the call).. Also, the deal they offer will run out after one year and if you don't call back to renegotiate their 'loyalty' rate they charge you double so be mindful of that if you still decide to use their servicesAstound Broadband powered by RCN

Its a scam:1: 20$ offer is actually 110$ after fees 2: "free unlimited mobile service" is actually 40$ a month and 20GB 3: esim transfer doesnt work, so now im stuck without a phone number and cant contact customer service 4: since i cant call customer service, my only option is the chatbot. The chat waitlist was an hour, and when an agent finally responded, we wasted 30 min going though security questions. They said let me look into it, then I got an automated message saying I havent responded (even though I wasnt prompted to respond), and now im at the back of the waitlist 5: the whole onboarding process takes days, and I still cant figure this outAstound Broadband powered by RCN

Horrible service. Ripping people off raising their prices constantly within only months apart, then saying you still owe money after you already paid them early or on time. Excuses for outages. I have called a few times just to get my password to my wifi and each and everytime I'm getting a robot saying there is a disruption and it should be up and running by a certain time.my whole family is very upset with them. Thewifi password i had was an old account from a different company.i put that in and astound says wrong password what did they do change it without telling me? By far the worst company to have services with. I am moving out of state and called to disconnect on a certain date. Because my billing cycle ends 4 days prior to when I want to disconnect, they either disconnect on the cycle end date, which I cannot do because I need wifi until I move OR bill me the entire next billing cycle for a service I will no longer be receiving except for 4 days. They are incompetent to be able to prorate services and having good reputable customer service. I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS, even if others are a bit more in price. This is the worst ISP I've ever had in 20+ years and I've had ******* (which I thought was as low as you could get). Their customer service is full of apathetic surly staff that are clearly sick of their horrible jobs and really couldn't care less about helping you out. Our cable taps are messed up from the drop (the telephone pole box). It's been literal years and no one has ever come out and do what's needed, which is to replace the drop (after countless promises to do so). The threat they love to use is that "if your equipment is at fault you will have to pay for the tech." This is meant to scare you off, I have brand new top of the line hardware so I make the request and nothing ever happens. I won't even get started on their absurd promotional call in absurdity which you need to repeat annually to try to stay at a remotely normal rate. This company has cost me countless hours of frustration and cause me professional embarrassment countless times as I work remotely and frequently drop during important zoom calls.Astound Broadband powered by RCN
