Astound has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No one cars about the customer. All I get is incompetence, arrogance and rudeness. I really feel like the customer service people are trying to be bad at customer service. Do NOT do business with this awful company.Astound Broadband powered by RCN

Before and at install was told that after paying the first month would get 6 months free (pay one month and next free). Paid 1st month, now getting billed for second month. Should be free every other month for six months. Installer is working to correct this so I do not have to take further action.Astound Broadband powered by RCN

Absolutely horrible service. From day one. First it took 4 times for them to try and install, one which they never showed up for. Said they needed to fix the outside tap 3 times which never was fixed. My Tv would constantly buffer and Id watched the loading ring forever. My bill was supposed to be $185, but turned into $230. Was supposed to receive a $200 gift card never got. Was suppose to have bill looked at and never was. I have about 30 emails back and forth with my representative whose response was always let me look into it and get back to you. Needless to say he never got back to me until weeks later when I would email again ****** get first issue resolved and complain about another. Not once in the almost 3 months I had astound did he offer to send a tech or a manager call me until I said I was canceling. Well by then it was too late. I told them I wanted a refund for all the headaches and the lack of service. I think I watched more of my tv loading than actual shows. Do not get this service.Astound Broadband powered by RCN

One of the worst customer service interfaces in the business. Multiple menus and it is virtually impossible to reach a real person when you have an issue that is not addressed by the pre-set options. (Why call otherwise?). They don't even have an link on the website to ask a question or leave a customer service comment. Avoid if you can. I would, but where I live there is no alternative....Astound Broadband powered by RCN

This is my second review with them. They advertise $19 monthly internet charges in my building for new tenant bats while theyre charging the rest a whooping 3+times more per month for less broadband speed. Every timeI call, asking and addressing this issue, I am being told that they have no offers at the moment. Besides, their customer service is very mundane and indifferent. Astound internet service is good , the customer support not so much. Website is very basic does not offer much to manage the account, compared to comcast.The billing practice is less than truthful The on-hold customer service message makes me want to vomitAstound Broadband powered by RCN

I was recently forced to switch out my cable boxes for this Bluetooth system. That is garbage! The voice doesn't match up with the picture that has about a four second delay. I was forced into basic until I complained to the office. I will say they did offer me promotions and a upgrade. The service is still horrible. This is the worst I've seen from them. When I was at the office there were other people were other customers i spoke to that had similar complaints. The service is just tivo that is again horrible. This is the worst service that I have ever come upon all day long you watch the circle go round, and round, round and round terrible every single day they should not be in business. Im gonna go with another service. Im gonna check around cant handle it. no more life is stressing out enough without having a TV to stress you out. This is ridiculous.
