      I just finished the GRE General Test at home. My performance was less than I'd hoped for, however this was exacerbated by the changes and unexpected turns I was not expecting. First, I was expecting a 3-hour test, not 2. Is this on me or them? Hard to say in my eyes because in all the prep I completed I never saw anything about the 2-hour test except a heading when one searches "GRE Test." But, when you click on the heading it takes you to their sales pages where you are emphatically encouraged to buy all their stuff. I thought it was an option, and not one I planed to utilize. Planning is crucial, and was nuked from the start in my case. But, I suppose I can take some blame for not doing better research. Point 2, however, is definitely not on me. My setup consisted of a Macbook Pro and large monitor placed in the middle of my completely cleared desk. I emptied everything so no hint of malfeasance could be suspected. However, the moderator informed me that this was not acceptable because it was connected via a cable. Now, my Mac sits on a shelf next to my monitor, closed. Regardless, in an effort to be a good sport, I disconnected the Mac and was going to use it alone. Then he told me that the monitor (disconnected and unpowered) had to be covered. I had no such covering so I had to remove it from the room. I did this, but I forgot that my monitor also powered my computer so half way through the exam I had to go **** for my charging cable. In short, this was a complete train wreck made worse by the fact that he didn't seem to care that my camera was still connected (via a cable) to my Mac, and laying randomly on my desk. My experience is summed up as 'inconsistent' and 'unexpected.' I never expected to max out the test, but I strongly feel my performance was significantly effected by the random nature of everything that happened. I sought to be prepared, however I never saw anything that said an external monitor was a no-go. Be warned future test-takers!

      Like all of these other reviews, if I could give 0 stars I would. The website would not work. I first tried the virtual assistant which was of no use. I then called as soon as they opened the following morning. and after 20 minutes of trying to get to a person was disconnected. I start the process over. The person was of no help. I am lied to about the whereabouts of a supervisor. Then all of a sudden a supervisor is available. But it does not matter.because I was told I waited too late for help. You should have called on Wednesday night and we could have helped you register for a Saturday test. But we cannot help you now on Thursday morning because it is not 3 days outeven though our website was not working. (And says nothing about 3 days out) You now cannot take this test til March. This supervisor says Praxis determines the window. I filed an online complaint. Get an auto replywe will contact in 3 to 5 days. I get a call today. This supervisor says the state determines the windows. So which is it? The language barrier does not help because way to go Praxis.charge people all this money for these tests and outsource your entire call center to a location out of the states!!! If a person takes time to file a written complaint you would think someone from the headquarters in the states could take the time to call. Horrible business model!

      My score was cancelled, I didn't receive any help during the whole process, and ******* carefully checked my room before the test started, ******* didn't say that I had any violations, I have been studying TOEFL for two years, and no matter what the result of this test is, it is the result of my hard work.I've been practicing listening without notes for half a year, so I can write down the content without taking notes. My eyes were staring at the screen the whole time, not looking everywhere. My device has no remote software and no extraneous software, and I put my phone in the distance where ******* can see it at the beginning. The door was right behind me, and no one bothered me the whole time.I am in my senior year in *****************, and I have no problems with my daily communication and study, and my grades are excellent. You have ruined my reputation by canceling my grades for no reason, and you have accused me of being helped by others. I will definitely raise objections.I didn't get help from anyone, but you think I did, and I strongly doubt the professionalism of ******* and Analyst.

      I was expecting to get my score for my praxis and they told me to call them about a report of my score delayed. I explained to the customer representative that everything with the protector went through and passed the check. I saw my result at the end of my test. Why is it an issue with my exam that you holding my score? I just didn't do anything wrong if the protector approves and watches me take my exam. I saw my score but you holding for no explanation. Now I'm confused and I suffer from depression because you can't give me any reason.

      Id give 0 stars if it were possible. The amount of tears and frustration that ETS has caused is ridiculous. My experience hasnt been nearly as awful as some people, but it still hasnt been great. I had to do the **** for my state, and had so many issues with the website. On more than one occasion, the website was down and I was not able to work on my test. It was down so close to the submission deadline that I was really worried I wouldnt be able to submit because of their issues. We all know that if that happened, there would have been no way to get any sort of refund. The website is so unfriendly to users, and has been the biggest frustration for me. Two of my biggest annoyances was the character limit and the artifact file size. 1 MB is tiny! If it was the slightest bit too big, it wouldnt safe or upload. I felt like I spent half of my time compressing files. That character limit was also a huge frustration. If you go over by 1, it wont save your work. I spent so long trying to figure out what to take out so I could get down to the right number of characters. The system also just looks like it came out of ****. The **** rubric also needs to be updated. The scoring is so subjective even with the rubric, that it is hard to give a definite example of what constitutes a 3 or a 4 when it is scored. There is no constructive feedback when scores are finally posted (the scores are always posted late) that its difficult to determine what went wrong. I got a 0 on one part of a section, and all it gave me was a list of 6 possible reasons for why I got a 0, but not the actual reason. Thankfully I still got a good enough score for my state that I dont have to resubmit anything, but its still frustrating to not know what was wrong. I feel like there needs to be more clarity of what is expected on the rubric, as well as better training for the people who score it because it is very subjective. $300 for this test is obscene.

      This company had me go through numerous obstacles just for them to approve me to have GRE accommodations for my disability. Once I finally took the GRE, the company that ETS hired to ******* my GRE did not even give me my disability accommodations. The company that ETS hired also made me wait over two hours to finally take the GRE. Because of this, my GRE scores did not reflect what I should have made. I wasted hundreds of dollars for nothing. I contacted ETS about it as soon as the GRE was over, and I did not hear back, so I followed up with them a week later. I still was not contacted, so I called them the next week (2 weeks since I took the GRE). They told me that someone will contact me soon about it. It has been THREE WEEKS since I took the GRE, and I still have not received a call or email from this. This company has scammed me by taking my money for a service they did not fully provide, and not giving me a refund. And also, they did not ensure I received my disability accommodations! The federal government ensures as a disabled person I am *********** accommodations, yet this company refuses to address their mistake. Horrible horrible company.

      Praxis scams people out of money. I paid $130 to take a test. When I signed in to the test, it wouldnt let me saying it could not detect my camera. My camera works fine. So I tried to reschedule and they insist it was my fault and want time to pay again plus extra to register for another test. I believe that they sabotage the exam so that they could make you pay again. Do not take a test with Praxis. They are a bunch of crooks.

      I tried to cancel a test that I do not need for my masters program. My test was scheduled for 6 months from now but they are only offering me a partial refund. The operator on the phone was not helpful and I spent a lot of money for this exam only to get refunded half the money back.

      Ets exam was really the most disappointing exam for me! The first time I took ets was on ****, I failed to enter and finish the exam because the ******* kept disconnecting! I didn't ask ets to take back the loss once, because time was running out near my application del thus I took the second exam right away! I took the second exam on *****, and I was answering the questions carefully, but the ******* said halfway through that her camera was disconnected and I needed to do another security check, which I did, but my score is now under review! I can't believe they suspected something was wrong with my grades. My deadline for submitting my scores is coming up and if I don't have my scores I will lose my chances of going to school ets is not only an organization that gobbles up money, but it also destroys other people's futures!

      I had an extremely frustrating experience with ETS, which has been the worst encounter of its kind in my life. The test, scheduled for last Saturday, turned into a nightmare when the app installation process dragged on indefinitely. This was aggravated by the fact that my previous ******* had deleted the necessary app from my computer, citing vague "connection issues" as the reason. This issue had already occurred in a previous attempt to take the exam.My initial email to ETS yielded the same response, claiming connectivity problems with my computer. Subsequent emails went unanswered, and when I reached out on the test day, I was redirected to contact ETS directly, as refunds were purportedly beyond the scope of the support I was receiving. Unfortunately, my emails to ETS also went unanswered initially. Only after reaching out again did I receive a reply, requesting the information that was already outlined in the previous emails. This repetition has left me feeling skeptical and concerned about the legitimacy of the process, as it seems like I might be caught ** in a potential scam.
