ETS gave me promise of two weeks from the date of review, it's been more than two weeks and I've run out of patience and now I'm willing to do anything to recieve my score as I'm completely dissatisfied with this testing experience. My ETS ID is ********. I have emailed TSReturns and called OTI multiple times over the past ************************************************************** the delay. I am sure if I could speak with someone, I would be able to clear up any questions, but I have not been able to reach anyone. I have also sat on hold for over more than 8 hours attempting to reach someone about my GRE exam review delay, but the line just hung up after **** hours. ETS's lack of response and inability to provide customer support is unacceptable.Review fromSusan G

Such a scam. I need to take an exam to finish my degree. ETS is the only service that offers the exam I need. The first time I tried to take the exam, I was told there was technical issues and I could not take the exam. They refused to refund my money, though ****** did eventually refund my fees because I didn't receive my service and ETS wouldn't respond to my emails in any timely manner (weeks!). I tried to sign on again today to see if I can schedule the test again, and now I have some $240 outstanding fee balance on my account. I have zero notifications on this fee on the site or in my emails. This is straight robbery and extortion.Review fromKelcie V.

Went to take the at home Praxis test in November 1st. I did the pre check, as well as all the requirements provided. I spent 40 minutes prior to the exam going through everything with the *******. She went to start the test and I got a test terminated message prior to even starting the test. I was told to call praxis there was nothing more they could do to help. I called praxis told I could call back in **** days. I did, they said it was sent to OTI. I was given the email and phone number to OTI. I sent many emails and phone calls and never got a response. A month and a half later recieved an email saying it was terminated and my fault so no refund offered. When I asked for more information they could not provide any additional information. When asked to speak with someone else was told that this could not be escalated and that I would just have to pay for the test again. I asked if when they watched the video if they could see a program open he said no but that is what the error message and report said. He cannot provide me with the report, or the program that was open. I am just supposed to trust the company that seems to be scamming people out of money. Whem asked what percentage of people are actually successful with this he could not tell me but if it takes a month and a half to respond then they seem so inundated with unsuccessful test. Do not do this it is a SCAM.Review fromClaire L

I took GRE test on Nov. 5. However, its 32 DAYS after, my score is still being reviewed. I transferred from the in-person test center to the home test because of physical problems. I passed all the security tests, DID NOT VIOLATE any rules during the entire test, and tested undet cctv the whole time. I tried to call ETS, and after 8 hours of waiting, someone finally got through and told me to wait. I don't know how long I'll have to wait, but I really need GRE score urgently to apply for grad school. No one helps me and no one tell me why my score is under review and when can I get my score. They dont care about their customers at all. *********************, its totally a SCAM!Review fromNicolas B

I have taken the Praxis Core Writing test ( ****) five times. My school has a passing score of "162". Within all five of my scores, I have received 150, 156, two 158, and 160. It is very alarming that I'm always within the same frame and so close to the score I need. No matter how much I study to even with different methods; I feel like my name is just a regular at this point, and they are trying to get as much money from me as possible. This has now set my career path a year behind schedule. There needs to be a clearer description of how the essay portion is graded, I believe there needs to be more than a computer and one person making that decision unless they come up with a total difference and call in a second person. There needs to be a better grading team when it comes to these essays.Review fromeric m

Long story short - see if whoever requires the test can waive it. Don't waste your money!I scheduled with ETS for an at home online GRE exam. Began the process of jumping through several hoops disconnecting things, clearing things from my desk, even covering my monitors up with a sheet as instructed by the *******. The ******* took remote control of my PC, tried to sign in to the ETS browser to initiate the exam and then it errored out! The ******* told me there was nothing I could do about it and gave me a customer ********************** number to called. After being on hold for an hour with customer ********************** they told me that because the test was technically "initiated" (even thought I never once saw a single questions) that it counts as a test and not only now do I have to wait 20 days to take it again but they refuse to issue a refund and state I must pay the fee again. Why would I pay a fee for something that is going to fail and has proven that it will fail. Why would I pay for something that provides not help or support when problems arise. Why would I every utilize this system again?Review fromDelores C.

I would first like to say that I do not know why colleges use this company to do their test. I think they scam people out of their money. I went to take my test a month ago. I did an at home test. I did the systems check and it gave me the green light. One the day of my test I log in to take the test and they tell me I dont have the proper version of windows. Had to go back and forth with them for 2 weeks to get reimbursed. Was told several times the department that handled these cases did not take phone calls. Now I rescheduled my test, this time I did the systems check through the ETS website and I had ******* U run the test that they do right before the exam and they said everything was good. Day of the test the ******* goes to start my test and my session gets cancelled. Have called the company every day since then. TWICE I have sat on hold for over an hour and been hung up on 2 minutes after a representive has answered. Now they are telling me that it is going to be 2-4 weeks to investigate (last time i was given a response in about 3 days). The only problem with that is that I need to take the test by dec 1. I asked if my case can be expidited and it seems that nobody can do anything. I asked if they can just take the 28 day wait of since i didnt take the test and nobody can do any thing. I honestly think this is a scam.Review fromBrandon B

An absolute scam. DO NOT TAKE THE AT HOME TEST. I was scheduled to take the at-home Praxis for a certification requirement for my job. After getting my computer ready, going through all those hoops to get the ram usage correct, and then day of testing making sure my apartment was absolutely cheat free (even covering my television with a blanket, and taking off my glasses to show the insides of them) I was finally able to start the test. After about 20 questions, the test locked and said that there was a "security breach". To which point I contacted my *******, and he said there is nothing that he could do and I would need to contact ETS to discuss next options. I called them that day, waited 1 hour on hold, and finally reached somebody. The customer ********************** representative was no help at all, saying he needs the ******* notes, which take 3-5 days, and stating that he cannot promise me that I wouldn't have to pay the 150 dollars, or that he could waive the 28 day re-take window. FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT MY FAULT. He then told me that if I did not hear back in three days, I need to reach out. Three days came and went so I reached out to ETS again, and explained the situation for the third time. The representative said that the ******* notes finally came in, and that she would transfer me to the correct department. I wait AGAIN for 1 hour after transferring me, and now this representative states that my test is under "Administrative Review" and will take 2-4 weeks to sort out. I asked to speak to a supervisor, to which the representative said that he is "away from his desk, but you can leave a voicemail". I have been passed along, without any answers, several times now, and have basically come to the conclusion that I have been scammed. Everything everyone is saying about this company is true. Ridiculous that we as educators need this to do our job, when it's impossible to work with this company. Do better.Review fromNicole P.

Working with this company has been a terrible and traumatizing experience. Thier customer **********************, if it can be called that, is slow and not terribly helpful. I was scheduled for 2 online tests. The first one happened as follows, this is the complaint that I sent:1. This was the worst testing experience I have had in my entire life. I cried for over 30 minutes trying to get logged in. It was a humiliating experience and it was just terrible. I cried through the first part of my test I was so upset.2. The test glitched multiple times. I couldn't even see the screen where I was supposed to type my essay answers.3. I have no idea if it was scored. My friend said she got immediate scores on the multiple choice, I didn't, so now I'm wondering if I just wasted time and money on this test because it was so glitched. I have no idea.4. Why would you ask me if I wanted to keep or delete my scores without showing me what they are? That makes no sense at all so if they're bad they're being sent to my school even though I have no idea what they are.5. Just in case you missed it this was the worst testing experience of my entire life. I have just completed my Master's Degree in education so honestly, that's saying a whole lot.6. During the test log in process it made me reset my password TWICE. Nothing would download correctly. I couldn't get logged in. I don't use those browsers that were needed for the test at all.7. A day before the test (or more) you should send out a note saying "click this to download everything you need for the test." Logging in an hour early WAS NOT ENOUGH given all the technical issues.8. Did I mention I was crying big audacious tears because of how terrible this experience was and of course because I wasn't allowed to leave my testing area to get kleenex I wiped my snot on my shirt since I wasn't allowed to move. The next test I couldn't get logged in. They had me reschedule live and then cancelled it. They refuse a refund, only 50%. WORST.
