  I'd rather a negative 10, but that's not an option. Our truck has been at ****** weeks! Waiting now for 4 weeks for an inspector, they don't answer or return calls to service department doing the repairs. Still waiting on a reimbursement check for 12 weeks from previous repair. A measley $260 and they can't pay that! So basically a scam company! DO NOT BUY!!! $2600 WASTED!!

  Fraud, Lies, Concerted and Persistent Efforts to Frustrate Customers into Giving Up on Their Claims! Ideal Auto Protect (IAP) intentionally employs DECEPTIVE and FRAUDULENT business practices designed to frustrate customers into giving up on getting their claims properly reimbursed. My first claim was for a measly $302. First, they said they would pay the claim directly to the shop on their credit card, but when it came time to pay, they said they could not do that and would need ME to pay and then they would reimburse me. It was a TRICK! I have kept the 85 emails back and forth with them falsely promising to send the check, that the check had already been sent out, that they had sent me an electronic check. NONE of it was TRUE. After 3 months of hounding, they finally paid it. My second claim was for $674. The same thing: they said they were going to pay directly with a credit card, then when it came time to pay, they said they could not do that, and I needed to pay myself and they would reimburse me promptly. After 126 emails, 42 text messages over 3 months, culminating with me having to write a scathing review online, they finally reimbursed me the $674 ON THE CONDITION THAT I REMOVE THE BAD REVIEW! This is why there arent many more bad reviews about them! They EXTORT you to take them down or they wont pay! I cant imagine many people would have persevered so vigorously, and THIS IS THEIR STRATEGY! Frustrate you until you finally give up! I have worked mostly with *********************, but also with *************** and ***************************. Most recently, they have tried a new tactic. Even though the navigation system is clearly called out in my contract, when my navigation system broke recently and needed to be replaced for $890, **** is now claiming that it is not covered! They are just trying to get out of having to pay and they are BREACHING THE CONTRACT! Stay away from this fraudulent company. It is a SCAM, and they will do everything they can to avoid paying you.

  Stay AWAY - 0 STARS I signed an extending auto warranty contract with this company in November 2021 for my then 2014 4Runner. Paid total of $1450 for two years. I had the vehicle for 60 days, took to the dealership and they sent the repair cost to iDeal Auto Protect and they denied the claim, but it took Ideal almost 2 months to decline. ********************* refused to assist me in getting my car repaired. I then told him if he will not help me with the repair I would like to cancel my policy. ********************* told me that because of the time that had passed I could not get a full refund. **** sent me a cancellation of contract, with several disclosure forms promising me that I would get a Prorated refund of $700. After signing on March 3, 2022, all the disclosure forms and the cancellation of contract **************** started playing games each time I would contact him via email or phone. All he would say the was the check is in the mail or they are behind in processing the check or we will send it out again. I asked what address they were sending it to and he couldn't confirm that. I asked to have it sent certified and I would pay for that, or sent ***** and I would give them my account number and asked to have it put back on my credit card. I would call ********************* just to remind him about my refund and he would act as if its not him. I have been going on back-and-forth with **** for the past 6 months reference my refund and each time it gives me the runaround. Any department I try to talk to on the phone keep sending me to **** and he answers with a different title each time, so I get no where with him. They refuse to refund back my money after I signed disclosures and the cancellation of contract. Trying to figure out what legal actions are available to get my money back.

  I would give no stars if possible. This company is a scam. My car has been in the shop since July and its September 8th! They dont return phone calls, you can never speak to a manager, and they lie about sending out adjustors. Their customer service skills are nonexistent and there is no follow through. I have to call my adjuster daily to ask for an update and I get nothing but an attitude and the run around. *** asked to switch claims adjusters and speak to a manager and nobody ever calls you back. Hes used a fake accent twice when Ive called too, as if I dont know its still the same guy. My number is connected to him somehow bc he is the only person I can ever speak to. He has lied about sending out adjustors as well as not having a supervisor if his own. The mechanic now wants me to come get my vehicle when no work has been done on it. Whats the point of paying for an extended warranty when you cant even use it!

  I signed up with them and began making payments of $312.50 and paid over $1200 to them when my car was involved in a accident and the insurance company totaled the car. I asked for a refund of the money I paid and canceled the policy as I no longer had the car. They promised me that they would pay me some of my money back in May2022 and I have not received the $656.88 dollars. I called every week and they kept promising me tomorrow, next week etc. They had me sign a letter that I would not *** them or say anything bad about them. That is crap!! I want them to send me the money they promised. The person name **** is not trustworthy and he tells a lot of lies to consumers.. Do not use this company without reading the reviews. They are not worth the headache.

  This company is fraudulent. I've been waiting for a refund for more than a month now. When I call, I get transfer to ********, no answer, left many messages, no return calls. They tell you a supervisor will call and they don't. These are fraudsters!!! Do not do business with them!!!

  STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY. A bunch of liars make promises they never keep. Twice I had my ******** in the shop the 1st time was at a MB dealer they had the car over 6 week due to no or lack of response from IDeal. This time its been over 7 weeks for a simple pump replacement and I still dont have my car back because they have not sent payment to the repair shop. **** lies and said it will be ther by the end of day yesterday, never showed up to day he said by 2pm.today never showed,. Car has been ready for over 1 week but being held hostage until Ideal pays the **** of $256 bucks.This company should be closed. A bunch of liars and extremely poor performance. Their contract makes it seem easy, have an issue bring your car anywhere, the identify the issue we approve the repair they repair and we pay them, Sounds Good on paper but they miss lead their customers, then lie every time they can to prolong the repair. Still waiting on the payment so my car can be released.Asked for the owners name and number and also gave **** my number to have the owner contact me. **** never responds to these requests. 7 weeks for a 2 hour repair and still waiting on my car due to lack of payment from Ideal

  I went over a warranty with them sent them $307.00. I check out there reviews so I didn't sigh the agreement and call them to send money back they said it would take 10 days that was 60 days and no money I filed a complaint with the attorney general . I fill the *** should check there scam out taking advantage of senior that way.

  i sent in claim in aug 2021.had car fixed at eater.was given approval bt ideal warranty i email,call them even day for almost a year tell me check is in the mail not for full amount gave themselves 50% off did not send check i call them almost every day they say the same ting check has been sent check back next week we will put a rush on it..this company is a FRAUD contacting district atty **********

  Honestly I dont know where to begin, Im currently without my car and havent had mine back for the past 4 months. As a warrantee company youd think they show some sympathy, no instead they take a whole week to send someone out to see if its a legit problem then another 2-3 weeks debating if theyll cover it, then finally we get the part after 6-8 weeks of waiting just to find out the part they sent was FAULTY. This ordeal has been very stressful and to top it off theyll only cover as little to none of the rental expense even though they are the reason my car has been in the shop for over 4 months. No one wants to answer the phones anymore and every time someone promises theyll call me back I never get a call back. I am currently over $4000 in rental expense due to the fact that I need to drive to and from work. Thats not all, I still have to pay and additional thousand dollars to get my car out of the shop because they only cover half of the labor and only the main component part for the repair even though I was promised $50 deductible at most. Ive been super respectful when speaking to the claims department but nothing seams to be happening, my mechanic is frustrated along with myself and I do not wish this type of issue on anyone. Do yourself a favor and please find another warrantee company, learn from my mistake of choosing Ideal Auto Protect.
