  I bought a warranty for my 2014 Porsche for over $3,000.When the vehicle needed repair of the transmisin mounts, they stoped communicating, never answer our calls or emails. I had to end up paying the shop to repair the car out of pocket. This company are scammers!!! Dont by from them!!!

  I had the unfortunate misfortune of dealing with Ideal Auto-Protect, and let me tell you, it's been an absolute nightmare. After completing repairs on a customer's vehicle, all seemed well when ***************************, their claims adjuster, gave the green light. But that's where the nightmare began. Despite numerous attempts to follow up on payment, it's been radio silence from Ideal Auto-Protect for the past 2 months. First, they claimed a check was in the mail (it wasn't) then after weeks of trying to get ahold of ***** or anyone from that company he made a vague promise about reaching out to the billing department to try to get it figured out. Spoiler alert: nothing happened. It's now been weeks of unanswered calls, unanswered voicemails, and mounting frustration. Ideal Auto Protect seems to have perfected the art of ghosting not only their customers but also their obligations. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of *************************** & this shady outfit masquerading as a warranty company.

  My experience with Ideal has been terrible. In October 2023 I experienced a fuel problem with our 2014 ********* Ideal offered an hourly repair fee to the dealer that was far below market that it was unacceptable to the dealer. Also the repair was going to take a week to complete because the dealer had to use a part that Ideal would source. Ideal offered a one day rental replacement. We canceled our policy then and had the repairs done out of pocket. I have not received a refund of the promised balance left on our policy and Ideal has not answered any calls or emails since the first week of January.

  Where is the 0-star option at!!! **************** approves a repair on 11/20, but doesn't send payment for the repair. I have to now pay out-of-pocket for the repair on 11/29 that I did not authorize myself just to get the vehicle back. They sure call back in a hurry to sell you a warranty, but to talk to someone for a claim, they are non-existent. This is the company that is the reason why some repair shops do not do business with extended warranty companies. Look elsewhere (***************** is great!!!) or use the money you're going to spend on an extended warranty and put it away for the repairs out-of-pocket. Just don't Ideal any money!!!

  Scammm. Scammm scanmm. Only one person answering the phone. They are full of c*** DO NOT USE THEM. MOVE ON. PAY MORE MONEY FOR A BETTER COMPANY. And they make you wait a month. Just to do nothing.

  This is by far the worst auto protect company. I have been battling with this company for months to reimburse me the money they were suppose to pay for my car to get fixed and I was advised someone from claims would be calling me back to send out the check and that was over 2 months (now 10 montgs) ago. Since then you can never speak to someone inside the office because they use a BS answering service who job is literally to take a message and say they will send the message over and **** it as urgent and no one ever returns the calls. It's been 2 months (now 10 months) of me leaving voice-mails. I would run far away from this company and would NOT recommend it to anyone.

  I purchased two extended warranties on my ******** **** but when I filed a claim, I was told that they had to send the parts to the Shop but when the parts arrived they were used parts now NEW. When I complained they said that the shop was trying to overcharge me and they would not allow that which was not true. When I called to cancel both warranties at the end of July I was told that I would receive my refunds on 8/31/23 but when I called they said that it should have been received via check or money order. ***** later I called and emailed them and was told they had to refund it to my credit card and that I should see the credit within 48hours which never happened. I called back and emailed on 9/14/23 and told them not to process anything to my credit card and that I wanted an immediate resolution and I was called back by **** who said that they wanted to get me taken care of and out of their hair and therefore would sent me something called payment by Pay Note which once accepted would then pay me all monies owed. I was told that an email would come to me on the morning of 9/18/23 and that never happened either. Today when I tried to email them all emails are blocked and I am unable to reach them. I called the corporate number answering service and was told that they would get a message to them. I would tell anyone please do not trust your monies or cars to this company as they are totally unethical. There is nothing more frustrating than a company that does not stand behind what it sells. When my last car was at *******************************, I went to the dealership to get my car and found that they once again sent used parts to the dealership for installation on my S550 which was deplorable. I was not able to get my car released because guess what they never paid them. You would come out better saving your monies and just paying for the repairs if your car is out of warranty as this is not a reputable company to deal with.

  This company *****. They dont cover anything. They make up reasons why its voided. I cant even get in contact with customer service or claims. They only answer the phone if you press purchase a warranty and then when you say you have a claim youre transferred to a number that never answers. How is this legal??? I paid for a service that Im not able to receive.

  ideal auto protect never answers their calls. They have an answering service who picks up their calls. I have called a total of 50 times and have left voicemails and no one returns my calls.Customer service or claims this place is a scam.There was a guy who sold the auto warranties to my husband on 3 of our vechicles **** was his name . He then became a manager there and had promised to refund ** our pro rated rate.Needless to say he was fired. I finally was able to speak to ****** and he said he would look into this and call me back. He never did. Talk about a total scam of a company.they owe me a lot of money.

  Ideal auto protect is not worthy of any stars, I had a claim for $207.00 from my dealer, the dealer work was approved by Ideal, the dealer did the work and had to wait two weeks to get paid by Ideal, and that is me calling 5 times to pay the dealer and the dealer said in the future they would need to be paid I. Advance. I end up selling my vehicle and try to cancel, this when Im told 3% fee because I purchased warranty with charge card, another $25.00 fee, another $250.00 fee differential activation fee, I had a claim for $207.00, yes they deduct any claims so in the end no refund. Just try and call customer service they wont answer, you have to leave a message. Total rip off, you can use the warranty in the bathroom thats all its good for.
