False advertisement, I had another company call Total Warranty- My information was switched to a Service Plus account without me knowing. Its a different Bank account from daily use one. For 3 years never file a claim and call one time 7/15/24, and they started off by saying what they won't pay for after I told them my issue. They haven't offer to send a tech because it was something that they don't replace. This was not what was explain to me with the other company Total. I spoke to someone to cancel, they offer me $300 but to stay with them another year. Now, that did not make sense or dollars. That means I will pay them back the $300 offer and more within a year. It was hard to cancel with this company. They only cover Mechanical issue with your policy, don't believe them. Each person has they're on take on the policies and company policies' as well. The whole company is a scam.... STRESSFUL, STAY AWAY, A WASTE OF MONEY FOR NO SERVICE.

Service Plus Warranty is indeed a SCAM. They should not be allowed to continue their operation. Over the three years I have been paying my monthly policy and I have only submitted one small claim for a toilet and now a **** repair. With the toilet I found out that they had no agency in my area to service my claim. This was after over a month of going back and forth with the plumber they assigned, who stated that he had told Service Plus that he wasn't available. I then had to find my own plumber and I was told that if the repair cost under $200 (which it did), to pay for it and they would reimburse me. Service Plus then refused to reimburse me and I had to make several calls to finally get reimbursed. This all started in June and was not resolved until end of August, when the toilet was authorized for repair, and a payment was not received until a couple months later (end of October). Now the **** repair is turning out to be the same NIGHTMARE. I paid $125 to the technician to come out to evaluate. He reported the repair recommendation to Service Plus verbally. Service Plus stated to me that it's not normal wear and tear, but will not provide any written statement why, neither will the their repair agency. I have had several other local **** agencies come to my home to evaluate and they all state that it is normal wear and tear. I have spoke and written Service Plus's Resolution and ********************** but no one will provide me written justification why my claim was rejected. Additionally, my monthly rate just jumped over $10 (to $63) as well as the amount I must pay directly to the visiting repair technician ($125). Lastly, they will not give me any names of direct contacts in their organization. CONSUMERS BEWARE!! Let's work on getting this organization closed down.

My home air conditioner went out they told me 24 - 48 hours before a tech will be assigned to my claim. that was 3 days ago. No tech has been assigned yet and I had to pay out of pocket now they will not reimburse me because when the tech I paid came to fix it their office was closed and the tech could not contact them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. It's a scam. and on top of that they will not let you out of the policy. or you have to pay in full before you can get out of it. I live in ******* there is no way to live here with out air conditioning for 3 days. Now I am SOL out of everything. I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Service Plus Home Warranty is a very dishonest organization. This was the third claim on the same issue that wasn't resolved. Finally, Service Plus reached out to me to find my own technician. I had a technician come to my home regarding my AC constantly running. Service Plus had me fill out form CRF-****** 18 200 (reimbursement claim). I was told if it was to go over the unauthorized limit to have the technician call. He was on speaker phone and answered all of the questions. Service Plus asked if rust was present where the leak was found and the technician answered no. Service Plus told me to call back to get the resolution. I called back after being on hold for 33 min. They told me unfortunately the claim was denied due to rust. I told the representative that I was on the call as well and the technician said there was no rust.Service Plus asked me to get a hold of a vendor's technician to confirm. This was a bit confusing because during the call with Service Plus, they asked for the technican's company, technican's name, and phone number. Anyway, I I was in the process of doing this and looked at the portal and Service Plus closed the claim. It was less than 5 hours that they closed the claim. The claim was opened for 5 days on their part but closed immediately. I was not allowed to provide the information that was requested. I want everyone to know that Service Plus was willing to lie and cheat customers and not process valid claims. My condenser and evaporator coil were both leaking. Btw, the evaporator coil is aluminum so it doesn't rust. The area on the condenser leaking did not show signs of rust. Please look for other alternatives.

They give you a claim number, but then make you responsible for finding a vendor. Then they limit their repair auth to $200. Then insist that whomever you have called call them and speak with them directly before they even authorize the repair that they have already committed $200 toward. Today the bill with $219 to clear a drain and they will not reimburse the $159 (difference after my service fee) BECAUSE THE REPAIR TECH DID NOT CALL THEM FOR ADDITIONAL PERMISSION TO CLEAR THE DRAIN. It has become a policy of service vendors in our area to refuse to take time out of their work days to hassle (AND I MEAN HASSLE) with these kinds of home warranty companies. I dont know how else to warn the public that you should save your $1600 because they wouldnt even let usy out of the contract when we dealt with this same con job in February!

Service Plus home warranty company is a complete joke and ripoff. They are crooks and will get out of fixing any problem in your home. They try to use a contract you never get sent to you some sub part of the contract and they dont cover it. Complete waste of money. Please save your money try someplace other if you waste your money and do a warranty. They are all crooks better to put up a hundred dollars a month and save and you will have enough for any repair you need in two years anyway. Thanks for listening to me b**** Im mad af

I had 2 different claims on my AC units. Both were rejected. They say they cover all existing equipment. My area had no service technicians, so I had to call one out. The first unit had a rusted part and said it wasn't covered. The second unit that wasn't cooling had a controller board that was discontinued so the unit had to replaced, claim rejected. Now I'm out $12,000 to replace both units. This company is useless and only takes your money. Do not use this company. I should of done better research and looked at all these bad reviews. Another problem with this company, it is very difficult to contact them. Always on hold. You can file a claim online easily but I had questions about my claim and are put on hold for over an hour.

Understandably, there are two sides to every story, and we always look for a fair resolution between all parties.Claim 1 - 5/20/2022:You placed a claim for an air conditioner that was not cooling. Due to limited availability of participating vendors in your area and to expedite service, we advised you of our reimbursement process. If determined to be a covered failure, a reimbursement check is sent upon receiving a copy of the paid receipt.Your vendor reported that the condenser coils were corroded. According to our policy, corrosion is a non-covered repair, which led to the denial of this claim. We understand how frustrating this situation is and apologize for any inconvenience caused.Claim 2 - 5/22/2024:You placed another claim for an air conditioner that was not turning on. To expedite service, reimbursement was again offered. Your vendor reported that the unit in question was a mini split ductless unit. Air Conditioning System failed and is not cooling. The system is old, hence the home warranty. Been paying since 2018. Call to get serviced. No one within 100 miles to service. So they tell me to call local HVAC to come and utilize the claim form. No parts available to fix the system which requires a flush of R-22 which is no longer manufactured and with what is left in inventory would cost $5,000 to flush and reuse and pressurize again. System is under 13 Seer which the policy says is covered. Oh but wait - read the fine print. They are not paying anything. Offered to pay $200 as a token. Never buy their warranty. Not worth the paper its printed on.

Called them for my oven not working. Tech came out pulled my stove out took off a back panel and took pictures of dead bugs and what he said were mouse droppings. Never looked at the oven at all and basically told me they would not honor their claim. I am so done with companies taking my money then finding reasons why they can't pay the claims put in.
