    Buyers be ware! Please do not give this company any of your hard earned money! They are taking advantage of homeowners. I knew this company was bad news when the contractor they sent to fix my AC unit said this was the worst home warranty company he had ever worked with! He told me they would not pay for anything, that there is always a reason they deny claims. He was absolutely correct. I was left in the middle of the summer without AC, it was 102 outside! They said the leak in the coils were caused by rust and corrosion and that wasn't covered. How do they sleep at night? This is a horrible company, don't get scammed like I did! They don't even deserve 1 star.

    We purchased over a year ago a home warranty policy. The company is Service Plus *********. We paid our premiums and no issues. When our AC broke down we called the company and spent an additional $75.00 to have it looked at and repaired. The tech came a week later and diagnosed the problem. 3 weeks passed many phone calls and finally after living in 86* house the Service plus denied the claim. The company said the air handler was rusted/corroded. So my husband called the tech and he said they are lying. They called him (tech) and said-the air handler is rusted. Tech said no. He said its normal. The company said soits corroded. Tech said no I said its normal wear and tear. They said to him so its rusted. Tech said no Im not going to lie. Its normal wear and needs to be replaced. So this so called Warranty company is stealing from customers!! They have refused to fix or replace.Currently because of my letting others know they sent the tech out to photography the air handler. So maybe they have a change of mind and realize this old gal isnt going to allow more deceptive business practices from Service Plus!

    Called Service Plus to file a claim for the refrigerant used to recharge my AC unit after it was repaired by TLC Heating and Plumbing. They had already told me that they would not cover the cost of my AC repair but would cover the cost of the refrigerant recharge. They referred me to the Resolutions Representative who told me that they would not cover the refrigerant. He put me on hold and when he returned, he said that he talked to the other guy who works with him and that *** said that I was offered a choice on continuing to pay on the current contract and they would cover the cost of the refrigerant used or change the contract to cover just basic items. I already paid $585. I told them that was not how I understood it and that I want to cancel the new contract and the guy said no because they did not default on the contract. I believe they did because they said they would repair or replace any covered system or item. Now because my refrigerant system was updated to comply with new requirements, they say it is not covered. I dont believe they are acting in good faith and lied to me to get me to sign a contract. This company needs to be investigated for deceptive business practices and closed. Their former company's name was "Total Home" and they had to pay restitution. Do not sign anything with them and spread the word on all social media to warn your family and friends.

    This "home warranty company" is an absolute sham. I agree with all the reviews below. I filed a claim for my AC back in May and since that initial claim, I have refiled at least 3 more times. They've closed each one of those. So I called them in June due to the ridiculousness of them not upholding their end of the policy contract. The "customer representative" said nothing about the claims they kept closing without any resolution. She did however provide me a number to some "repair" company they assigned but did not inform me about. Still doesn't explain why they would close the claims but I let it go cause it's like talking to a brick wall. Next, I repeatedly called this alleged repair company because they kept putting me on hold and then hanging up! After a few back to back calls, they forward me to their assigned contractor. Not surprisingly, he hangs up when I asked him to schedule a day to come see my AC. So service plus basically assigned a shady and unreliable "repair" man to my claim from over a month ago at that point. I call service plus back and they tell me the "technician" came to my property and said all is good with my AC and closed the claim and my new claims. I literally laughed aloud cause of the sheer audacity of this company. Told the "representative" that I have proof that their "technician" never showed up. He said he'll open up an investigation and assign someone else by end of day. Nope. Get an email a week later saying that my claim is closed. Just called them back and its the same story, they'll let you know by end of day etc etc. So I literally paid a fraudulent, joke of a "company" $1800 to give me emotional distress. The emails, ads, phone calls, policy terms -- all of that is false and they will NOT provide the services we paid for. Someone needs to investigate this business or they're going to keep doing this to others.

    This company could not get me a plumber to fix a problem with a leak. Was told to find a plumber that I want. I canceled everything with this company. I'll fix it myself!

    A bunch of crooks!! I have summited 4 claims over the last year and they havent fixed anything yet.THE LAST ONE WAS A FEW DAYS AGO.My hot water heater went out and they want even send anyone out to look at it. Put two claims in on it and they closed both of them without even sending any one out to inspect my heater!!I payed them 3 years in advance for the warranty ($1200.00) and I can get them to fix nothing!!The fine print is where they get you at in the contract.They dont cover nothing that in writing.Please stay away from these people!!!They want even refund me my money because they said both parties have to agree to cancel the contract and they dont agree!! So I dont get my money back or get any thing fixed..I WILL DO ALL I CAN DO TO WARN OTHERS ABOUT THIS COMPANY THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA!!!

    Do nortuse this company. They will not cover repairs of a leaking freon line nor replace a compressor At this point I am not sure what is covered for refrigerator repairs as this is the most common problem with refrigerators. Not a very old refrigerator and parts are available. Had to find my own repair company and pay out of pocket, Total rip off company as evidenced by all the negative comments Had to pay $75.00 for the diagnosis and then they tell me they will not cover the repair.

    Less than 1 star. The worst company period. All of the reviews I have experience with having 2 homes covered. Have filed about 6 claims between the 2 houses and zero claims honored. Ended up paying out of my pocket and wasn't reimbursed. Claim that anything over $200 must be pre approved, but never was able to get anyone out to check my appliances. My thoughts are that any reputable repair company refuse to deal with this terrible company. Run as fast as you can.

    Serviceplus are liars and thiefs, they bait you into getting their services and collect money every month, but when something breaks in your home they refuse or deny your claim so that they do not have to pay. DO NOT USE THEM
