I waited 4 months for reimbursement on a service that wasnt done. Dishwasher and stove were approved for $100.00 each but neither could repaired per their contractor therefore they offered a reimbursement of $100.00 each due to the age. Both were less than 4 years old. There phone goes to an out or order recording. I got through on another line for new customers pretending I wanted new contract and requested the cancellation department. Previously I was told call back closer to the end of my contract date. Today they said I would have to make the last payment in advance. Its due in December and my contact ends in January but I did the same thing last year and was stuck with another year. Do not do business with these crooks. They should have an F rating. Do your homework.Review fromCarlton H

Service plus warranty is the absolute worst home warranty out there. Please do not waste your time with them, Im saving you from disappointment. My AC unit, furnace and now my water heater went out which is covered through my warranty. They literally try to find everything in the book to not pay for the service's if anything breaks. From a total between my Ac unit, furnace and water heater I had to come out of pocket $11k plus I have been paying my monthly fee to them for over 4 years and they still aint pay for s*** So I am being robbed, scammed and bent over at this point. There policies cover absolutely nothing and you will not get your moneys worth with them, instead they will just be taking your monthly payments. You are basically paying them monthly to just give them your money. Fraudulent a** service they dont provide and never will and will make sure they find anything in their power to not fix or replace what is broken. I am getting rid of them asap. PLEASE SAVE YOUR SELF THE TROUBLE AND FIND ANOTHER HOME WARRANTY BECAUSE SERVICE PLUS IS NOT IT. I wish I could give them 0 starsReview fromStanley R

Fraudulent. Poorest of customer service. Do not pay claims and poor response times. Quoted twice from different managers, they are not an emergency service. I definitely concur with their assessment given today is day 47 waiting for repair service on a top load washer. Additionally, reimbursement for AC unit is still pending and we are at day 120 with a different response each time I inquire. SAVE YOURSELF MONEY AND AGGRAVATION; DO NOT BUY A CONTRACT WITH THIS PREDATORY COMPANY.Review fromLisa M

I got a home warranty with service plus had one claim back in July of 24 I paid the bill I am supposed to receive a reimbursement from them only $75 still nothing told same thing every time I call. The worst of everything. I went without a dryer for weeks waiting on them to find me somebody finally I found someone now got issue with washer and of course they have nobody to help. Again, I will pay and not get reimbursed. TERRIBLE company.Review fromMatt F

Horrible company. Avoid at all costs. do not recommend using this company at all. Will take your money every month but battle to pay you. *** filed 2 claims now. The 1st one was a battle to get paid over a broken a/c which is what I pay them to cover. They told me it was not covered due to I did not follow proper procedure on filing a claim because I called after hours when they do not have anyone available and it was middle of summer my house was above 90 degrees with kids and pets in my home. I paid out of pocket to a local company then next day told service plus what happened and they said because I called after hours I didnt follow proper procedure and will not be paid for reimbursement for the emergency service. Then I filed a claim for a broken clothes dryer . It has now been close to 6 months and still am battling to get reimbursement for replacing the dryer I already paid for. I have contacted them once a month for past 5 months to get an update on a reimbursement and every time its the same answer that my reimbursement is still in approval status. Some how 6 months its still waiting to be approved? I spoke to a person named Asia who claimed to be a customer service manager and told me there is nothing she can do and she cannot give me any information. I asked her if I can talk to someone else in which she stated only other department would be accounts payable but they do not have a phone number according to her. So now going on 6 months and apparently have no body to contact to help me but a customer service manager who will tell you she has no information to give you and no body to contact for you. Very very bad customer service especially accounts payable team for the reimbursements I have taken the policy for **** and recently i had the problem with my AC and service plus guys told to fix from the available agent in the neighborhood and they do the reimbursement as per eligibility. I have spent $295 and they have approved $150 in July 2024 and they mentioned in 8 to 10 weeks Cheque will be issued to my home address. Its been more than 15 weeks now I called 4 to 5 times to check on the status of the cheque. They are saying the same statement in progress and no idea wats been happening with account payable team. ************************ frustrating service to get the approved reimbursement on time even after multiple follow-ups My recommendation to any of my friends not to go this company for home insurance going forwardReview fromTracy M

I honestly do not know how this company is in business! The worst **************** that I have ever experienced. I had my only claim in 3 yrs on 7/3/2024 and still have not received my reimbursement check. I call every week and they tell me they don't know why but the check has not been mailed yet. I've talked to 4 different supervisors and still nothing. DO NOT GET A HOME WARRANTY WITH SERVICE PLUS!!!!Review fromDarlene L

As a recent widow of 51 years married to a retired, navy ******* who served his country for *********************************************************************************** the event of needing A contractor my daughter suggested purchasing a home warranty the salesman I spoke to not only preyed on my vulnerability, he used the military card as another way to seemingly convince me I could trust this company and all that was said to me after a year I made my first claim for my second refrigerator. The first Contractor that they set up did not even acknowledge a contract with their company, another week went by the second Contractor stated he was not willing to travel the distance to my home after I had waited all day for his arrival. The third Contractor now going on 3 1/2 weeks finally showed up and repaired the issue. it was then that I realized , I did not have faith in this company and according to the detailed notes I took while on the phone with the salesman I was told I could cancel anytime and then he charmingly convinced me if I paid the policy in full I would receive an additional year of service free I paid this company over $3000 and when I called it stated I was not happy after the first service call. I am now being told because I paid the entire fee info. There is no possibility of canceling this. I have also discovered that they do not cover items in my home that I was told would be covered. I have now had to hire an independent contractor for an air conditioning issue which is going to cost me $2800 and that is $1000 off due to the situation, I am in , and this company being empathetic, I will be contacting our local news channel due to living in a military area. I do not want another military family being deceived, lied to and ultimately bound to a contract that their hard earned money paid for I do not know how these people sleep at night however, at ****************************************** life, unfortunately, This is a costly ****** beware!Review fromNestor M

I have been a customer for 7 months, paying $45 per month for warranty repairs on my home appliances. In early September the freezer of my refrigerator stopped working. They did a video troubleshooting of the problem and had a part ordered. When the part came in a ********** installed the part. The freezer still did not work. A second ********** came and the problem was not fixed. I asked them to get my refrigerator fixed and 7 weeks later I gave up and canceled my contract. The company is sleazy and should be blacklisted.
