  I cannot recommend Authority Moving Experts enough!!!!! **** is awesome to work with, and is very encouraging when you you are in the stress of a move. AME went beyond the call of duty, and helped us after another brokerage scammed us, discounting our services not because they had to, but because they heard the h*** we went through. The movers they contract with are as legit as they come and are super communicative! **** needs to be in upper management, leading the team! ******** in Scheduling/Dispatch is a sweetheart and keeps you up to date. They also knew we are two people with disabilities, and the level of patience was out of the park. Thank you AME!!!!

  I have never used a moving company and they were fantastic to work with. Communication was excellent. Pick up was pretty good and drop off was the best.

  I would never recommend. The broker I spoke to completely lied about volume of shipment and I ended up paying an additional $1000 despite him telling me I still had room for an entire sectional couch. The movers that showed up even confirmed that this is common practice for this company. Once you agree to the *** and quote and sign, they disappear, and you cannot see them or reference them in the future. They pass you around the company and you speak to a ton of different people but never get answers. They also partner with Unlimited Shipping and Storage with is AWFUL, practically a scam company. We had to call the police and when I called AME they never got back to me about the issue.

At the time of pickup the ******* had indicated additional items that were not listed on your original inventory list which had caused your estimated volume to increase. Additionally, packing materials and packing service was added at the time of the move which had also increased the total cost. Moving can be a complex process, and there are many variables that can impact the cost. We strive to be transparent about our pricing and to communicate any changes in a timely and clear manner.   There a few additional items that ***** and I had spoken about and he did not add them to my inventory list. He claimed that I had so much room to spare that it was not worth adding. Very very poor business practice to come back and blame me still, despite it being your companys issue.

  I hired them for a move from ******** to **. When Simple Movers LLC showed up on moving day, they charged me an additional **** dollars because they said my inventory wasn't going to fit in the designated truck, another truck would need to be acquired. When my goods were delivered, there were damages/missing pieces (even acquired pieces from someone else's property), to an estimated $3000. After multiple calls/emails to try an get compensated from the movers, I requested help from AME. All I got was a cc on an email from their main email to their dispatcher to help me, while stating that they weren't responsible for the movers or any damages. I wish now I had just done ANYTHING else to move my items as this aggravation isn't worth it. I have an additional complaint in against the movers ** AG and DOT, because the moving company appears to be out of business. Clearly, this company is not interested in solving this issue and there needs to be some protections afforded to the customer, not only by the movers themselves, but also the brokers. There has to be a better safety net.

As a moving broker, we strive to connect our customers with reliable and professional moving companies that will provide a seamless and stress-free moving experience. However, we understand that sometimes unexpected issues can arise, and we are sorry that we were not able to provide you with the support and resolution that you needed.Unfortunately there were many items added on move day that were not listed on your original household goods inventory list. This caused the movers to utilize a second truck to complete the job which had increased your final bill. As far as damages, you did opt for basic cargo protection with the release value of $0.60 per lb. per article up to $10,000. Authority Moving Experts is not a motor carrier and does not physically transport your household goods, so we do not handle claims in house. All claims must be filed through your motor carrier and you will be compensated based on the outcome of your claim. We want to assure you that we take all customer complaints seriously, and we will be looking into this further to see if there is more we can do outside of claims for compensation. While we are not directly responsible for the actions of the moving company, we understand that as a broker, we have a responsibility to our customers to ensure that they are treated fairly and with respect. We understand your frustration, and we want to do everything we can to make this right for you. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this matter.   I understand your response but regardless of whether I added or deleted items off PRIOR to move day (I did notify you and discussed the changes, even received an updated items list), or opted for whatever insurance was available, the moving company is OUT OF BUSINESS!!! So whether it's flat insurance fee or $.60 lb, I have no recourse for either! Your assurance that we would be treated 'fairly and with respect' did not happen because my items were destroyed or missing parts,

  I had a great experience with this company. They facilitated my move and made it a seamless process.The insurance options were also great, very convenient. I was already stressed out about moving but they made everything go as smoothly as possible. Very much appreciate their help and recommend them to all.

  We contacted three different moving companies for our long distance move from ************* to *****. I had no idea how much went into this considering we've always moved ourselves. I had quotes from $3,000 to $10,000 for a three bedroom home and *** explained how you only pay for the space you use on the truck. *** took his time with our inventory list and did not persist to ask us for a deposit as the others. The movers they sent were professional on time and handled all of our households items with care. Thank you to *** for working within our budget and explaining the moving process. I would highly recommend Authority moving experts to anyone for a affordable full service move.

  AME is a broker, NOT a moving company. They won't tell you this though and make it seem like they are a moving company. Save yourself at least $1000 and hire a moving company directly. They break federal law by not providing you with their list of approved motor carriers prior to signing an agreement with them so you can't look up the criminal companies they hire. The company they hired for my move is actually in the local news because of a violent gun crime that happened at the administrative office (https://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/employee-boss-get-into-shootout-dekalb-county-police-say). Additionally, the price I was quoted was at least an extra $1000 below what they quoted me, and I had to pay it because I needed to move. AME purposely underquoted me. Several items of mine didn't arrive and AME is doing nothing to help. You're better off saving your money, hire a U-Haul, movers on each end and do the move yourself.

  I would give less than this because as of today I been lied to , misled, and manipulated into believing my stuff would be delivered by now! Well they have my money and who the h*** knows where my late husband ashes are as well as my personal things I paid them to move me from ******* ****** to ************. How do I explain to my children that we cant bury their father!! I am beyond upset and I think they took advantage of someone who is grieving the loss of their late husband and mother all within a year!

Authority Moving Experts is not a motor carrier and does not physically handle your belongings, all of the information relayed comes directly from your motor carrier. We have not misled or provided any false information. We had notified on 12/12 that your items were in transit and unfortunately the truck was delayed due to a snowstorm along the route as of 12/23. We cannot foresee delays and during this time of year weather can delay the carriers entire delivery schedule. Please refer back to the Prohibited Items section of your binding moving estimate: Prohibited Items: Personal documents, jewelry, medicines, personal remains (urns), firearms, cash, bank notes, hazardous materials, pets, liquids or perishable items. If you decide to include these items in your shipment you will be doing so at your own discretion and Authority Moving Experts LLC will not have any liability whatsoever. We truly apologize for the delay you are experiencing and for the loss of your husband. We understand how stressful this can be for you and have notified your carrier of the urgency of completing this delivery as soon as possible.
