  Initial Bid: $11,000. Final price: $28,000 for ****** to *******.1. Do not sign contract until truck scheduled. Signing contract does not reserve a truck. They reserve truck one week out and than raise price drastically at last minute. Total bait and switch. You do not get deposit back if you want to back out. 2. You will not be reimbursed for unused space. That is a lie. Do not fall for it like we did. 3. Your things will be put into storage and repacked on a different truck, and mixed up with someone else's things. Even if you pay extra for that not to happen--like we did! Our things were still moved to a different truck and broken. Then they tried to deliver someone else's things to our new home. 3. They sell your contract to someone else. The new person does not have to honor it. The new movers raised our price another $4,000, added bulky fees when Authority told us there wouldn't be any, left middle of truck empty to make it look full, and delivered our furniture 5 days before agreed on date. We had to hire someone at $80 an hour to accept delivery ($1600 total with his drive time). If we did not accept it, ****** (company that bought contract) told us they would keep our furniture indefinitely. It was literally blackmail. ****** has a terrible reputation and that is who Authority Moving Experts chose to move my things. Dozens of decorations and antiques were broken.

  My move with this moving facilitation company was incredibly smooth from start to finish. They handled all the logistics and coordination, and I had nothing to worry about. The price they quoted was also reasonable so I am fully satisfied with my experience.

  They are a referral agency and dont actually move your stuff. They referred me to another moving company that never showed up. My items have still not been moved and I am out $1700 at this point. They got their referral money and that is all that matters. They have been unresponsive. Whatever you do, dont book with them. They seem like they have their stuff together and are an upstanding company, but from my experience that is just a front.

  Horrible, Dishonest, and they lie to their customers. they don't tell you your price is going to Double when the time comes to be moved. the quote you $1800 for a 1 bedroom to real you in. and then you end up paying triple that price.

  UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVE. THEY PICKED UP FAMILY HIERLOOMS AT MY HOME IN *********** AND WAS CONTRACTED TO MOVE THEM TO MY SON IN ****************. THEY PICKED UP MY BELONGINGS ON JUNE 3, 2023. IT IS NOW JULY 12, 2023 AND I CAN NOT GET AN ANSWER FROM THEM AS TO WHEN MY THINGS WILL BE DELIVERED. THEY ARE A FRAUD AND WILL NOT ONLY TAKE YOUR THINGS BUT WILL CHARGE YOU AN EXORBORANT AMOUNT OF MONEY. THE ***** THEY ORIGINALL Y GIVE YOU IS NOT WHAT YOU END UP PAYING PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

  Absolutely horrible. They quote you a low edit image to get their broker fee then leave you out to dry come moving day! Will not answer calls, texts or emails. Ended up cost me OVER twice the estimate!!!! Also screwed up my car pick up after their rep promised in writing the night before that everything was good to go. Do not use.

  This company broke the contract by refusing to move my items unless I came up with 4 to 5 thousand more than what the agreed amount was. Plus the guy who came to my house was very strange he kept calling me mommy (my son had recently passed away so him doing that was very hurtful I had explained to him that I was grieving and asked him to stop, he wouldn't) since my sons death I've been keeping my ***************************** case, when this guy went into my bedroom the first thing he did was grab my gun started waving it around and then he hid it. I had to call the sheriff's department and file a complaint against him. He left because he told me he wouldn't move my belongings unless I paid the extra money even though the contract was for all my belongings so basically he voided the contract AME refuses to return my deposit of $2366.42 saying that they moved my things. They didnt move any of my belongings other than my pistol that the mover took. From what I can gather this is a scam type business that claims to be family owned and operated but this guy in ******* obviously isnt part of the family they just brokered the deal and sold it to this guy in ******* who tried to get more money out if me. Beware don't use them because they will steal from you they took $2366.42 from me claiming they moved my belongings when they never moved anything but my pistol they're thieves. They refuse to refund my deposit even though they cancelled the contract by refusing to honor the terms of the contract.

  DO NOT USE AUTHORITY MOVING EXPERTS. They are experts at leaving people hanging and providing zero communication! When I called Authority Moving Experts I spoke to **** and yes Im dropping names! I told him the date I need my furniture delivered. So he gave me a date that I need to be ready to have the movers pick up the items. I coordinated the move for my son who is in the military and he was to be stationed in ****************. We live in **********, So I gave **** a list of items and he gave me a quote of $2001.00 okay that is great. I called him back because I forgot a couple of items. When the movers arrived it was a different company called,****************. They said oh you have a lot more items and you have over 400 cube feet so we have to add $2600 more dollars. Authority Moving Experts are a broker, they are not a moving company. Go directly to a moving company ask if they are a broker this will save you a lot of trouble. When we got to ********** the movers did not show up when I asked for the furniture to be delivered they kept giving excuses after excuses, for example; Broken trucks and there are others on the list. Also get this when they showed up at my place to picked up the furniture which was two weeks before we arrived to ********** they told ** it is a **** day delivery depending on if there are any issues. Authority Moving Experts dropped the ball and did not provide us updates on the move. I called every single day I was in ********** and we got nothing. **************** booked the move with another company. They guy calls my son 4 hrs before arrival.He had no help and my son lives on the third floor the company tried to charge $200 because of the extra floors. I said why should you charge $200 and my son is helping you move the furniture and he said you are right. Dont use Authority Moving Experts or ****************.

  I do not recommend Authority Moving Experts. They seem to have separate sales and "dispatch" people that do not communicate with each other. The sales people take your information and input it in their system, give you extreme discounts and provide the most competitive price they can. The only thing is, is that when they take your information, it does not transmit to the Dispatch team, which leads to hidden costs. I told sales that I lived on the third floor of an apartment complex, however when the movers arrived, they were totally unaware. This ended up costing me an extra $700. Another frustrating thing that happened was the move-out date itself. I was in contact with the company as much as I could be ensuring that I would move out on a certain date, but it was all communication that started on my end. I provided them with a preferred date and a back up day. I spoke with them almost every day leading up to my preferred date and they assured me that I would be moving out that day. I waited all day on my preferred move out date just to be told that the movers were going to arrive on the back up day halfway through the day, after I had been assured for a full week that I was going to move out on a specific date. Completely unprofessional. Lastly, I am still waiting for a lost item. The movers lost a leg on my bed frame while they were moving me into my new place. I did not realize this until I started to try to set up my bed after the movers were long gone. I spoke to the movers who had apparently found my bed frame and were in the process of sending it to me. I have not received it yet. This was 2 months ago. I have talked to AME who have assured me that they were going to send the bedframe, "talk to dispatch", and send me a lost item claims form. None of these things have happened. On top of all of this, they don't seem to be answering my phone calls anymore. No idea of what I should do now.

  My experience with them was nothing short of excellent. Their facilitation service made my move a breeze from start to finish. The company they have chosen demonstrated professionalism and efficiency throughout the process. They connected me with a reliable and experienced moving team that exceeded my expectations. The movers were punctual, and friendly, and handled my belongings right. Estimates were also accurate with no hidden fees or commissions. Very satisfactory!
