******... I can guarantee you are mistaken in some area and your words are quite bold. The truth - I have been involved internally and externally with the 5 largest mental health providers in the country and you don't speak truth. The opposite is the truth actually! That is why I as an Independent Consultant evaluating the internal infrastructure of a business - MINDPATH IS THE ONLY ONE DOING IT RIGHT - in more ways than one! Not denying all businesses have growth pains and learning curves in certain areas but this is not one of them. MINDPATH IS THE ONLY MENTAL HEALTH PROVIDER THAT IS NOT COMMMITTING SOME SORT OF Funny Business when it comes to REVENUE CYCLE - CODING CHARGES - they even take it a step further and created a ethics department simply to ensure we they are the example setters when it comes to being legal. ALL OTHER PROVIDERS USE A BILL AS permanently. Meaning you go see Dr. **** and the claim gets billed like you saw **************! Not Okay! If you all knew the arena you comment on your comments would not be what they are. It is simply an angry patient and yes that sometimes happens. After all everyone is human!MindPath Health

I agree with most of the other previous clients that experienced a lacklustster service with MindPath. When it comes to billing, they are complete SCAMMERS! I was a cash patient since 2020 (via ******.. prior to MindPath acquiring) at $250 per session with a nurse practitioner. 5 months AFTER I confirmed my final session, they sent me a statement totaling $683 and asked me to pay the balance of $433!! Ofcourse this was a huge red flag for me since the balance was totally unexpected. I went back into my previous portal and saw their "new sliding scale" (which still doesn't confirm how much cash patients will be billed). Since their range of numbers meant nothing to me, I reached out to their receptionist called *** (who had no idea how to respond) only to be asked to reiterate my questions via email. Do yourself a favor and find another mental health service provider. They are overcharging and making up bogus fees to add. STAY AWAY FROM MINDPATH / ******!!!! But if you want to get billed an extra couple hundred dollars for the same mediocre services prior to their rate jump, go ahead and sign up.MindPath Health

Terrible company. Requested an appointment in Oct 2022 for medication management, but was given an appointment for therapy. Now they are telling me that I owe them 129.70 for the appointment. I’ve contacted their billing department several times (between Nov 2022 - Feb 2023) to get this item taken off of my account with no follow up or response. Today (Feb 21,2023) I received a call telling me that they can not expunge the charges because it’s to far back to look for the recording of their associate making my appointment or me requesting follow up due to the wrong appointment. I will be calling my insurance company again to see what I can do to get this company completely taken off their list of service providers.MindPath Health

The providers (psychiatrists/therapists) have been outstanding and this review is not directed at them at all. But Mindpath is borderline criminal with how poorly they manage accounts and how bad their customer service is. I have had constant billing issues with them since I started over a year ago. A few days ago for no reason at all they decided to charge my card on file for $300. Since I didn't owe this my account now has a balance of negative $300. I've contacted them several times to get this refunded and have gotten 0 response. Fortunately ****** is who I bank with and I've issued a charge back with them so I should be getting my money back shortly. If you use this company my word of advice is to never have a payment method on file because they will incorrectly or fraudulently charge it. Wait until you're certain they have the amount correct, then add your payment method for a one time payment, and then remove it.MindPath Health

I recently switched insurance and went through MONTHS (October to December) of back and forth with the office to try and understand how my new insurance would impact. Finally got it figured out and made sure the insurance was on file. Had two apts in January and suddenly had over $500 DIRECTLY taken out of my bank account. NEVER in the past was this how billing had happened- I had always gotten a bill and gone into a portal to pay. I didnt even know they had direct access to my credit card (and am still unsure how that happened).Called and they said their was no insurance on file (?!) and that theyd get it straightened out. Several days later I got a refund for ONE appointment. Have called again multiple times and still no one can explain why I havent gotten the rest refunded yet.I am owed $225.00 by the business and expect it to be returned to my account immediately. Shady business practices.Review fromR. R.

As far as I'm concerned Mindpath Health are a bunch of scammers. Anyway, I had a meeting with someone months ago that I cancelled in plenty of time. Their system says that you have 2 days to cancel or you will be charged $50 for a no-show. Fair enough. I didn't feel I needed to go so I cancelled within 4 days. All good so far. Then I got a bill for the no show. I called them and stated that it was cancelled in plenty of time. I was sent a link to the "billing department" by someone there that went to some internet service provider. What? I called again. The woman I talked to said OK, she would take care of it. Then in another month I got another bill from them for the same thing. I called again and a woman said she was sorry and they would take care of it. Nope. So far I've had maybe 10 continuing bills or so, and each time I've had to call to explain it to them yet again to please cancel. I received yet ANOTHER bill again yesterday. This time though they paid the $50 fee from a subsequent video meeting's fee (that they told me I had to have to continue to receive medicine) and told me that I now owed $50 for that meeting. I thought, did I not pay that? I checked and discovered that they quietly took $50 from the payment that I made for that meeting to pay for the no-show which, again, I did not owe, and now told me that I needed to pay $50 for the meeting. So I called yet again and was told my someone at the billing department that if I don't pay it, it will go to collections. She told me that it's one person at the front office that refuses to excuse my supposed no-show. She told me her name, which I won't share online, but *** is going on? They are really a greedy bunch of scammers in my opinion. I have talked to a few nice people, I remember a woman at the ********** office was very nice, but somehow all calls are now routed through the San **** ****** office. Mindpath Health (formerly Community Psychiatry, why, - too many complaints?) please stop harassing meMindPath Health

I got a message that you NOW want to make all better. Hmm. Now that we've paid the $50 (that we never should have had to) after yet another bill so that we won't get sent to collections. Note: that this consultation had to do with the results of a surgery I had which has been hard for me.Review fromJustin D

Do not go to MindPath! I am a healthcare provider and in my 15 years in the business I have yet to encounter more disorganized and poor customer service. I signed up over the phone and provided all my insurance info weeks before my first appt. They cancelled my appointment 18 hours before it was scheduled. I received a text (not even a phone call). It took 90 minutes and 4 customer service providers to reschedule the appt. The appt itself was okay but not great. Did not meet with a psychiatrist but instead a nurse practitioner, meaning that most questions I had about treatment were met with, "I have to ask my supervisor and I'll get back to you." Also, the ** could not answer any questions about the validity/reliability or speak with any confidence about a neuropsyche test they wanted me to pay out of pocket and take. And now, they are trying to charge me the private pay rate ($377 for a 30 min session) eventhough I have insurance that will cover the cost. Terrible experience through and through.MindPath Health

I had an evaluation for my 7 year old daughter for ADHD. We spent the entire time talking about is she suicidal and hurting herself. It was scheduled for an hour long and the doctor only spent 30 minutes with **. The doctor said he needed additional information and we were rescheduled for a follow ** in 2 weeks. Meanwhile, I was charged 236 dollars. I called and spoke with someone from billing and I was charged over 500 dollars for that visit with no diagnosis provided and another visit scheduled for who knows how much! No thank you to coming back and getting scammed!MindPath Health
