A group of unprofessional thugs that do nothing to support patients. Make you have a credit card on file to be even make an appt. I have two medical insurance coverage companies, have never paid a copay to them ever. Now they won't let you make an appt without a credit card on file for them to charge your card for any reason of which is illegal. Find a better solution for yourself.Review fromMattias S

I read the medical records I requested from you and they were so incredibly unfair for me. For example, you said something about knowing where i was at an appointment and knowing where i was, meant im doing a lot better. I knew where i was because i need to use maps EVERY SINGLE time i leave the house, so yes when i map somewhere i usually have to know the address im heading to. Ill never get better if you tell doctors i dont need it. IncredibleReview fromIrene W.

Well , I was inspired by a patient that spoke of her experience with lifestance health and wanted to share my experience with mindpath health . Goodness GOd bless her because i know how scary this is(paranoia and poltical ; iam not in political and upset ) and how on attack you can feel especially with mental health and relying on people to say you are sane. You are not doctors to me . Doctors speak the truth and are suppose to have the best interest of the patient in mind. TO over charge you and then prescribe then lie and then say all this what jargon to me to do what ? Really GOD BLESS HER . TO BE CHARGED 100 late fee and for not calling two days in advance and then have all this going on in your life. Iam on ssdi and feel trapped as well . I tried working and i couldnt work and then tried to stay positive ( listen ***** is good but goodness they will take to nothing ) . To be prescribed medicine that causes you to say let me get a grip on "what i am doing " and realize the amount of money that is really spent . Are you people jealous ? People talk to remain sane , always !Review fromKyle S

Mindpath buying up all the mental health coverage in the area has been the worst thing to happen since the privatization of insurance.Review fromPATRICIA H

My therapist was good, however I didn't know that EVERYTIME we spoke, I found it strange that she would ask if I needed a refill. So I was being charged almost ****** plus ****** something for her asking did I need a refill. So I was going through a hard time so I was speaking with her 2 or 3 times a week. I really don't like being taken advantage of and they did.Review fromErin B

Completely disappointed with this facility and their practices. I am struggling with ***/PPD and finally reached out to make an appointment. Their first available was 2 months away (which already felt like a very long wait). The day of my appointment they called to cancel because the provider was sick and told me the next appointment I could have would be another 2 months from my first scheduled appointment. That's a total wait time of 4 months of struggling! Their only answer was "there's nothing we can do". I can't speak for the providers or their level of care because I'm still waiting on my appointment.Review fromAl D

Id give 0 stars if it was possible.MindPaths billing practices in recent months have changed so that there has been multiple instances where they are sending patients bills prior to applying insurance adjustments but after insurance has paid. This is really despicable as far as a business practice goes. Mindpath is a mental healthcare provider so is treating people for anxiety and other conditions while their business practices are now causing more anxiety due to seeing significant and unexpected medical bills because their system hasnt made the necessary adjustments. When contacted to resolve the issue, typically the response is well the system says you owe this much even when you tell them that their system isnt reflecting the insurance adjustment. Sadly, it typically requires escalation to a supervisor and/or involving the insurance company to force them to apply the adjustment in a timely ********* honestly feels like this is a conscious choice on the part of their venture capital ownership group to get patients to pay the bill without paying close attention to maintain a positive cash flow position then process refunds at a later date.Review fromJenny A

When I contacted Mindpath for the first time, I told them that I was looking for a therapist that I could meet with weekly or biweekly long-term. I had to wait a few months for my first appointment, and the therapist was great. At the end of the call when we were scheduling the next visit, the therapist told me that she didnt have any appointments for three months and that I could try setting something up with another therapist or I could wait for three months. I was super disappointed, I felt like I had been very clear when I contacted them that I was looking for something consistent, thats how therapy works! I waited three months for my second appointment, and the same thing happened when going to schedule every appointment after that, extremely long periods of time between appointments. Then one day, I get a letter that my therapist is no longer going to be with the company. They didnt offer to schedule me with anyone else, they just left it like that. Thank God Im not in crisis and dont have any immediate needs, I feel like this company does not understand mental health at all.Review fromStephen M

My experience with Mindpath Health has been quite frustrating. The psychiatrist I encountered seemed rather robotic and lacked warmth, which, while understandable given their role, could have been improved upon. Additionally, I have been erroneously charged for no-shows, despite valid reasons for appointment rescheduling, such as poor phone connections.Furthermore, there have been administrative issues, such as billing discrepancies, including a $510 charge for a session that was meant to be covered by insurance. As someone familiar with the mental health industry, I find it concerning that Mindpath seems to prioritize revenue generation over patient care, particularly evident in their billing practices.Based on my extensive experience working in the mental health field for over 20 years, I strongly advise conducting thorough research on Mindpath Health before considering their services. In my opinion, their current practices do not align with ethical patient care standards.Review fromKris B

I can relate with many of the previous reviews. From billing non-existent appointments to the stressful calls and many hours of my life spent on hold or calling all over town to find my medication. Waiting for my provider to send it in (sometimes over two weeks) only to find that the pharmacy no longer has it...and it's on backorder. So another round of phone calls, long holds, many times no return calls, and the reminders that the provider has another 72 hours before they are on the hook to respond. It is a circus and a poor excuse for mental health providers. IF you aren't stressed, depressed, and anxious... Just become a patient of Mindpath and you will find yourself needing meds just to deal with the incredible run-around every single month. I have been with Mindpath for many years, and have been through four providers. (due to the staff turnover). This last provider is a PA, very young and impossible to converse with. She talks very fast (and constant), monopolizing the conversations and has no clue of what is really going on with the patient. This latest antic was my last straw. They feel that the medication is the carrot and will leave you without for weeks with lots of excuses and false promises. I plan to make all of my experiences public (from the massive billing - well outside of reasonable and customary) to the requirements that are made up and changed along the way. I have been without medication for nearly two months, so apparently it was never needed. In a nutshell, the entire Mindpath staff have an heir of entitled power... And treat the patients as if we are "beneath" them.
