Scheduling was easy, the salesperson was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and we were so impressed by the product that we cancelled a future appointment with another company and order from Universal Windows Direct that day.

I heard the ad buy 2 get 2 free from the radio. Went online to the website and seen the ad posted their as well. I scheduled a quote. Sales rep told me it was just a marketing tactic. He said if it's like this "4 windows are ****, I can sell them 2k a pc or 4k a pc and have you buy 2 and then give you 2 coming out to 2k a pc on average". 2k is the lowest end that he could offer and stated that 4k to 6k per window was the higher quality.Universal Windows Direct of Charlotte

My wife and I use Universal Window Direct to replace out windows back in 2017. We decided it was time to replace our old outdated and faded metal siding so we called them to schedule and estimate. They sent **** out to give ** a quote and go over everything. **** was super professional and personable. We looked at each other and decided to have them do our siding too that way the whole outside of the house will be brand new!! I didn't buy any product from Universal Windows because their pricing structure and sales tactics are ridiculous. I was requesting a quote for a small Box-Bay window, only 40" X 42" in size for a replacement of an existing kitchen window. This is a customized size, mainly because it is so small. After over 2 hours of the sales representative preaching the company business and product line, including lifetime warranty, etc., he finally got to the quoting and for the one window, the regular price was quoted as $39,800. Then with the current promotion going on, the price was cut in half to $19,900, still a obscene price for one window. Then the high pressure tactics of offering the final reduction of a price, down to $12,700 but only if I accepted the offer that day only. I was wise enough to have 5 other quotes received from reputable window companies and those quotes averaged around $4000, or roughly about 1/3 or Universal Windows "lowest price". This kind of sales tactics likely work on people who are not informed or knowledgeable enough to realize how high Universal's pricing is. And based on the customer reviews that I have reviewed, they aren't making all of their customers happy.Universal Windows Direct of Charlotte
