I have been holding back leaving a review for quite some time now trying to give this company a chance to make their mistakes right. But it turns out they dont care about their customers and dont want to take responsibility for damages that has been caused by irresponsible employees. On 06/11/22 I took my car in for a simple oil change that cost me a total of $81.40 so you would think at that price they would have employees that knew how to do their job. Well this location in ********** ** does not have good employees I kept noticing oil in my driveway at home and since my car is still under warranty I decided to take it to the **** dealership to see what the problem was. They found thr under shield saturated in oil, Cleaned the engine to find Oil filter not secured pouring oil out of it. I then had to pay $233.97 for damages and another oil change, I took the information to the on-site manager at take 5 and he was very rude and refused to give me any information about what to do about this situation. I got online myself and started contacting different numbers for help, in the process of waiting I noticed a man on social media by the name of *********************** marching outside of take five in Greenville holding signs that said take 5 *****. I reached out to him and we exchanged receipts from take five oil And it showed the same exact names of the techs that worked on our vehicles. They did not Put the oil plug in on his vehicle properly and it drained all the oil out and caused his engine to explode causing him way more damage. I have pictures to prove everything including a picture of his receipt showing the same exact techs That caused these damages, so I would recommend dont take your vehicle here. The employees dont know what theyre doing or arent paying attention to what they are doing properly. This was a horrible experience for my first time ever doing business with them.Take 5 Oil Change

They didn't tighten my plug and stated I needed a oil pan. They changed oil n not an hour later my car broke down. All the oil leaked out and now my car won't even start. I was stranded on the highway for 5 hours. I had to pay $144 for a tow to my house and now I'm out of transportation to work, which is 35 minutes away and at risk of losing my job if I can't commute to and from work, which cost $60 one way.Take 5 Oil Change

This customer never contacted ********************** to bring this issue to our attention. There is no response for this review. We have no idea if this is even related to the oil change at Take 5. Please provide evidence to the shop manager that oil in your spark plugs was caused by the service at Take 5 so we can properly investigate your review commentsReview fromRyan L.

I went to take 5 last Thursday 9/15 around 5PM, had my oil filled. Before driving to far away I parked by a gas station to make sure they didnt overfill my car as they had done so in the past at a different location. car was massively overfilled by 1-2 Quarts (and i was charged extra for said quarts). I went back and asked them to fix it which they did. I stopped to check the oil again and once again it was 1-2 quarts overfilled! I wasnt able to go back in till friday.I came back Friday morning and the team was much more helpful and seemingly competent! However for the 3rd time they overfilled my car albeit only by .25-.5 quarts, nonetheless the 4th time I came back I had a really friendly technician who was able to help me out and finally correctly fill my Oil. This was a really frustrating experience for me because it was a waste of around 3 hours and it all happened in the middle of me packing up for a multistate move I was undergoing on that friday (9/16)The most redeeming thing I can say about this take 5 is the morning crew is atleast niceReview fromKacie M

The did not put my skid plate back. This caused damages to my car. I had to tell them to give me my skid plate. They did not put back on. They had hard time getting back on. They threw it down the bay and told me I was good to leave. I pulled out noticed some noise pulled over and found my skid guard was not on. Called to get my skid plate. They would not put it on. I get down road piece my mudguard flies off. Now am missing part of my mud splash guard exposing things that need the guard and my skid plate is not on exposing my under. My car sits low.Take 5 Oil Change

I would need additional information to respond to this review. I cannot confirm or deny this happened. The customer did not provide enough information for me to investigate this and factually respond. Please have the consumer contact the corporate customer service team to provide the location the issue occurred so the district manager can pull the service video to review if this happened.Review fromAnnie H

I dont normally do this but felt like this was warranted due to my experience. I brought my Lexus ES300H and my GMC Envoy in for an oil change. After our vehicles were done they ended up charging my wife (who was driving the Envoy) and additional $18 for two extra quarts of oil bringing our total to almost $104 dollars for a routine oil change. No mention of the extra oil charge. After the work was done and she got back on the highway my wife heard a dragging sound. She called me and said there was a piece coming off from under the vehicle. I turned around and met her on the side of the busy highway (my baby was also in the car) and discovered that the oil skid pan had been placed back on the vehicle with only one bolt that was finger tight. I crawled under and took it off and drove back to the business with my wife and talked to the manager. I explained the situation and she told me that it was odd because she serviced my vehicle and there wasnt an oil skid pan on it. She also told me that there wasnt anyway that pan could go back on the vehicle because the Envoys didnt have oil skid pans. I told her that the pan was attached with one bolt that was finger tight and it threaded right in to the frame of the vehicle. I gave her the bolt and the pan and she said she would look for more bolts and reattach it. I pulled around and she was able to miraculously find the exact size bolts with the right thread count and reattach the skid pan. Its crazy that she was able to because not even 10 minutes previously she was telling me it wasnt possible and that I probably drove over the pan on the highway. After she reattached the pan, she was about to offer me a discount card and then she said oh, youre military, right? I replied yes and she said, never mind you already get a discount . What?!? So just because Im military and already get a discount somehow justifies the shoddy work and doesnt warrant an additional discount or some type of reimbursement? Or apology?Take 5 Oil Change

I tried calling, emailing and mailing a letter. I never got a response from customer service or anyone else at ************************** oil ***********************, around the same time but on two different cars, both resulted in expensive repairs later on. One cost about $150 because of some part that was not re-attached properly. The other was about $100 because the oil filter was overtightened. The techs who worked on the cars were incompetent and, as I see in other reviews, this is all too common at Take 5.Take 5 Oil Change

Location #**** *********************************************** Employee was unprofessional, rude and they falsely sale you products claiming it is a state requirement. Twice they have tried to fail my vehicles (2 separate vehicles) inspection based on windshield wipers being bad. Both vehicles are 2020, one with less than 17k miles on it! When I agreed to let them replace the wipers to just get my inspection done but requested they give me the old wipers and not throw them away, the employee then Changed his story and said it would pass this time! So today *********** employee decided to not even tell me he was failing the second 2020 vehicle for bad wiper blades. He kept stating they were brittle, one supposedly had a tear (1/10 on the absolute end of it) and they were leaving streaks! None of which was true. When I proceeded to start recording the situation he flung my door open and ripped the wire out of the car and refused any service.Do not recommend any of these locations for any services rendered, not even a simple task of checking tire pressure, which they actually screwed that up last time!Take 5 Oil Change

I would need additional information to properly respond to this case. It is a state law in ***** that wiper blades meet specific requirements to pass inspection. The customer is stating the blades were fine but I cannot confirm the condition of the blades to agree with this customers review. The customer submitted a case through our web site and an email was sent to the customer on August 12th in case number **********
