    I've had car shield for 4 years never had to use it until today August 3rd 2022 no one in my area would accept it, they said they don't pay there claims 6 shops declined servicing me ,so I called them to cancel they would not Cancel my contracts the only way I canceled was to tell them I sold my three cars which I didn't but that was the only way to cancel terrible company .I've wasted money on them for the last 4 years, *** * and ****** *** car shield is Full of **** STOP ENDORSING THEM.But you all are probably in it for the money just like they are. A class action law suit is forthcoming.

    The notes on your account state you spoke with a customer ********************** representative today who informed you ******************* would accept CarShield coverage. You informed at that time you would need to pay the diagnostic fee. You then later called and cancelled your contract. We are sorry to lose you as a CarShield customer.

    Worst company I've ever dealt with they should be shut down, and all funds returned to the customers,fraudulent company.

    Car Shield is not a reputable company to deal with. I have paid several thousand dollars of which they have never paid for any of my car repairs. Please search out other companies because you would be wasting money and time. Additionally, when I called to cancel my policy, they did not cancel until July 12th. I called and sent written correspondence of which they never replied. As a former teacher, Car Shield receives an " F" for customer service and integrity.

    Don't buy it! I purchase the Gold package for around $150 per month and it says it will pay up to 10 grand to fix my car per instance. My car's engine broke down in the second month. They asked the repair shop to tear down the engine to find out the cause. That's a big red flag. I wish I had read some reviews that mentioned this before my purchase. So I called the claim department and found preconditions are not covered! There is a long list of conditions that will not be covered. If you read that, you will not buy it. All old cars have preconditions. Otherwise why should I buy coverage? Besides many specific exclusions, the "General Exclusions" listed 32 conditions! For example, No. 17 says: "BREAKDOWNS resulting from engine sludge, carbon, pre-ignition, detonation, varnish, corrosion, foreign objects, dirt, dust, liquid, cracked rubber and/or neoprene parts, dry-rot, road chemicals, lack of proper fluids or use of additives or fuel grades not recommended by the manufacturer." So please read the contract carefully before you buy it. I am glad I only wasted under $300 for my lesson. Hope you benefit from my lesson as well! ***** **

    When looking for insurance, I told them what coverage I currently had that just expired with Ford. Sold me what they said was comparable. Went to use it several months later and nothing was covered. When I called and asked about it, very little was covered per mechanic from Ford that called in for coverage review on problem car was brought in for. Car Shield then told me it was the plan I bought. Very expensive for this plan. Why would I buy it if minute parts are only covered. Would have saved money by not buying the plan and paying for the repair , which I did, out of my own pocket. Car Shield is a scam. And then they keep calling me about Home Shield Insurance. Scam Scam Scam

    I paid into car shield for three years hundred dollars a month I finally tried to use on my truck that was covered with the Diamond package for bad injectors in my diesel pick up which the injectors are oiled they have oil all around them and they refused replacing them I just wanna let other people know that car shield is not what its all cracked up to be thank you and I hope nobody else gets ripped off And does not deserve any star or part of a star as far as Im considered

    Paid for a plan but they would even cover a power steering pump on my truck. Paid $1200 total and canceled my acct. My repair shop said they usually don't pay anything

    They said they covered all electrical issues but they would not cover my GPS. I have wasted money on them for a few years now. I went in to get my AC worked on and had to jump through several hoops for them to pay for it. I had to go without my car for several days until they did pay for it. I feel I've been cheated and want some of my money back

    Worst company out there I needed my transmission fixed and was told it's not covered because I didn't have receipts for all my oil changes I needed a jump lastnight cause my car wouldn't start was told I had to pay almost 300 dollars to get car jumped this is twice they can't help or won't help this is the absolutely worst company to do business with I suggest you look for a different company especially if you live in maine they have one service place in entire state and it costs you money for them to do anything most places don't accept carsheild because of not being paid fully by them if at all they won't refund the money I paid in for months to not be covered at all I hope people actually read these as I'm a very dissatisfied carsheild customer

    If I could put zero stars I would. They have given us a run a round. They said we do not have our service records and we have them all. Said they would replace my motor and then when ************ sent them all the information, they had him tear down the motor. They came out, looked at the problem, oked for the new motor now they denied the claim. We are at our **** end, we are going to contact our attorney. Do not know what else to do.DO NOT BUY THEIR SERVICE!!!!********************
