    I wish I could give negative stars. Id give ********************** -10. CarShield took advantage of my elderly father who has Alzheimers. When I called to cancel his policy they insisted he had to get on the phone. I got him on the phone. Then they had the nerve to try to keep selling him. You know your car parts wont be protected if you cancel. My dad doesnt drive anymore! I told the agent this and he still tried 3 times to get my dad to keep the policy. Hateful behavior! Contacting them to remove my dad from the contact database was no better. They were defensive and insisted the agent was just trying to help because they cared so much! This is an abhorrent company that Id suggest you steer clear of. They seem to prey on the elderly, exploiting their fear and possibly their confusion. Of course they had no idea about my dads condition but you would think when I told them that they would let us cancel gracefully without attempting to worry my confused dad into keeping the policy. The worst part is when I asked that they remove him from the database and the agent again said we were at risk. I told him to stop it and he hung up on me! Worst company and worst customer ********************** ever.

    They are misleading in their advertising.Very misleading, accept premiums but refuse to pay for repairs. Do not purchase CarShield Horrible. I've been a loyal customer for awhile until I had to file a claim. 2. Called CAR SHIELD, asked for a rental car reimbursement, they told me that the diagnosis would need to be made first, They would only cover for I e day.

    Buyer beware. I have had nothing but bad experiences with Car Shield and their third-party warranty coverage provider. In fact, they totaled one of my cars while mandating to take the car that needed a new transmission for a test drive. Additionally, I canceled coverage for my other car and received a email confirming the cancelation but continued to get charged. Then had to spend over an hour getting my refund for this overcharging. Interesting they do not advertise any of the users that they will not repair their car.

    The worst company ever a total rip off. If I had their true ratings option it would be minus five stars..I have never seen such a conniving company stealing people's money. And of course it's the elderly and poor they target.

    I was thinking about getting Car Shield until I talk to a customer ********************** rep about a quote, and he was very rude to So, I decided not to go with them, also my friend has a membership with them, and she informed me that they weren't, a good company because they don't pay for your car repair like they say. So, I called back next day to talk to Manager about the phone called I had with one of the reps. ** said to me that I took it the wrong way and he was trying to get me a cheaper quote after I finally realize that he was going to take up for this rude rep. I told him to take me and my husband off their email list and phone list he got really mad also he's tone change at that point I knew that I didn't want to deal with this company so me reading these, review and talking to my friend that has car shield I knew that I don't want to deal with them, so I went somewhere else.

    I am telling friends and family DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SCAM. Took my vehicle that has been covered for over a year by carshield to the shop and they refuse to pay for most of the work. I end up spending $1765.94 for the repairs on my 2012 *******************. They claimed I would only by $367 which was a lie. They were very disrespectful to the service advisor. Argued with him for over 6 hours on why they were not going to pay the price that the dealership part cost. They did not pay for nuts, bolts, clamps, some connection that belonged with the part that was needed. A portion of the labor along with numerous other parts that our car needed they refused to pay for. I'm WARNING everyone DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. I wish I had seen the BBB on this company because I would have never spend my money on it!!

    Very BAD CUSTOMER ********************** AND SUPERVISORY SKILLS, my car has been in the shop for 10 days waiting on an adjuster to come inspect and approve the job. My plan covers the part but because the adjuster is dragging his feet nothing is getting done cant get a car rental because the adjuster hasnt inspected nor approved the work. Everytime I call they say their escalating the claim up then the adjuster gets 24 more hours to respond this is a common theme to this madness Im very unsatisfied and hope people think long and hard and read this review before making Car shield the extended warranty

    I bought car ******. It looked like a good company by the ** commercials. My Nissana Ammarda broke down and put in the garage. They filed the claim and they denied it. They took the money out of my bank that day. I called and canceled it,but wouldn't refund my money. I asked them to cancel my account. Which I will watch closely. Will contact my bank and tell them not to pay. Its terrible how they do people this way also!

    They are misleading in their advertising...it states you can take your car to your dealership and no you can't. I have a 2008 dodge charger and I have called every dodge dealership near me but I hear the same thing about the company "they can never get them on the phone to verify coverage and they can never receive payment so they refuse to work with carshield. I want all the money I have invested in carshield thinking I would be able to go to a dodge dealership to be taken care of if my care breaks down. I would rather get all my money back that I gave to cover my car and go to a better who does what they say.
