    Car shield is a waste of valuable time and money. I have had to call SEVERAL times to the customer **********************, for a refund on a payment, and was given the run around. I kept getting passed to different operators, and spoke with 2 managers, who lack competence on how to give a refund. I would NOT advise ANYONE to ever use this car company for anything. The commercials are all lies, and this company is a fraud. I'm sooooo sorry that I had any dealings with them.

    Car shield is terrible. I had it and when my car broke down they said that part wasn't covered even though the part that broke was connected to the engine. It cost me $3,000 to fix. Car shield was a waste of my money and these actors that are in their commercials have no idea of the scam they are running and are just in it for the $$ .

    I let them talk me into getting coverage even though my vehicle is still under warranty, account was setup on Nov 2, I called on Dec 3, to cancel and get refund, because my vehicle is still under warranty, they refused to give me a refund after listening to another high pressure sales pitch, since I was 1/2 day over the 30 days refund period, They are crooks, read all the reviews about this company, before you use them, but I would not use them !!

    Please do not waste your time most parts in cars are not covered even if its all one part it could be a component thats inside the part an they will deny deny deny waste of money be very careful 0 stars

    SIgned up for carshield and was mislead by the represenative to believe the coverage I sigend up for was covering more than it actually would. A year and $960 dollars later, when I had to get the struts on my car replaced, I called to find out the insurance only covered the drivetrain - very different from what I was initially described in my sales call. Of course, they couldn't do anything about it and refused to either cover my claim OR refund what I had paid to them. A waste of money, wish I would have looked them up here a year ago. Will never make that mistake again.

    My contract was on a month to month basis and was due to end on Nov. 14. I cancelled my credit card that the premium was taken out of so a payment would not be charged out for this month and called to cancelled. The rep said that she would give me a couple of weeks to think about it. So I thought, if I didnt call to give them a new card number, CarShield would consider the policy cancelled. Just like all the other insurances. For some reason, CarShield found another credit card and made an unauthorized charge. Luckily, I saw the charged and placed a dispute on the transaction and closed this card. I do not know how CarShield got the account number. I did not authorize it. Isnt that illegal? When contacting CarShield customer **********************, I was informed that no refunds would be issued. Well my back is not going to pay it.

    Very much a joke PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. When giving the *** they should be able to tell u the info on your car an whats covered. The sales agent told me everything would be covered which was not true so once i had trouble with my car filed the claim then the claim agent before the diagnostic told me it would be an easy process so 2 days later i was contacted an told my claim was denied due to them not covering a dry clutch. If i was told that wouldnt be covered i would have never signed up. Now before i referred them to 10 of my military buddies but we all are canceling because its all LIES they just want your money never again stick to dealer warranties. -1 Star

    I purchased car shield for my 2008 kia ****** in october 2020. Recently I had a problem with my radio, tape system that is covered. They say the radio can not be found but no resolutions. I know they can put different radio but they must rewire . I believe they do not want to put money into it. Every customer ********************** claim person is telling me they can't find but not helping me find a solution. They basically are saying too bad. There is also a problem with people that accept car shield. I have called dealerships and other places that do not take the warranty. Only two places looked at my car that take car shield and not equipped for my problem. I paid on time for two years and can't get service that I paid for. I feel their TV ad is deceptive saying you can take your vehicle to all these places when there are many places that do not accept car shield.

    I have had CarShield for nearly 3 years now and this is the second time they have ******* me. The last time they only paid the $800 portion on a fan/motor repair but did not cover the $1100 portion of the repair, which came out of my pocket! Now my car needs a new engine, and because their agent has taken over 2 months to approve the repair, even going so far as to demand that they break the old engine down to determine the exact cause of the problem, I am about to be at a $1200 for labor!
    And that’s because even though our local fair market labor percentage is 15.6%, they will only pay 9.8%! So at Christmas time! After nearly 3 months of renting a car! I am stuck with a $1200 repair bill! This is criminal!! I am dumping these guys so fast after this claim is taken care of, and finding someone who has better than an F rating to give my hard earned money to. And I’m telling every friend and relative I have who has a contract with them to dump them before they get ******* too!
