  Car Shield is the worst thing that ever happened to the world of business they take your money and don't pay for anything I request several car repairs and none of them were ever covered. I tired several times to cancel and they talk you into staying. They are so full of it, Car shield is a real rip off and need to be stopped! ripping hard working people that trust them. I am writing the Governor of our state to bring attention to this garbage of a company called Car Shield. Doing this to people you want last much longer. How do you guys,sleep at night you have a license to steal. A license to steal

  Im only giving them a one star because I have to. I had carshield for about two years and never had a claim. One day my car messes up, I pulled it over, and had it towed to dealership at my expense. My car needs a engine. Never had trouble with it before the day it messed up. They denied the claim due to carbon build up. Said it comes from lack of maintenance. I kept my car serviced regularly as required, but because I didnt have every receipt for the last 4 years, to prove it, Its denied. My car is only 4 years old. I bought I new.

  CarShield is a rip off, if you file a claim and they find a gasket is leaking, even if it has nothing to do with the issue you are filing the claim on, they will reject your claim. We had CarShield coverage for 2 years, we identified that we had an external leak at cylinder 8. When we got the car to the shop, the technician identified a lower engine noise. After months of dealing with CarShield they found a damaged wrist pin and a spun bearing on cylinder 3. CarShield denied our claim then lied about ** driving the vehicle with a check engine light on and signs of overheating. After months of dealing with the BBB and the Washington State Attorney General we ended up paying to have the engine replaced ourselves. I would warn anyone against using CarShield, there is a reason they have such a poor rating with the BBB and there are so many negative reviews of this company.

  After weeks of arguing with CarShield and providing evidence of their deception, this was their proposal, With that being said, *** is willing to amicably settle this matter and, as a gesture of goodwill, offers to instruct the Seller to cancel the *** and issue a full refund of the payments made, totaling $2,236.29, upon execution of a Settlement Agreement and Release. Please have Ms. ******* contact our legal department at *********************************** within 7 days to accept this offer or we will consider it withdrawn and will close this matter.Instead of covering the costs of replacing the engine, which we ended up paying for out of pocket, they offered to refund our premiums that we paid over the life of our contract that they refused to live up to. We requested the independent third party inspectors report three times and our requests were ignored. These people are thieves and liars.

  Do not call Car Shield. They brow beat. I called to cancel a contract that I made yesterday and the first customer ********************** representative would not listen to me. I hung up called back and the customer representative took care of the problem. I see why they are not with BBB.

  They take money out extra for not reason also they stayed my **** Jeep had problems witch it didnt they lied about there coverage there not going me Im mine back there rude please dont even go with them the lie to sale stuff

  Car shield is misleading dishonest and manipulative of customers understanding of repairs for extended extra warranty coverage. Car shield does not cover much of anything the things that they do cover is the lesser part in which is connected to another part that isn't covered! Car shield is a false misleading awful claims processing. The claims inspectors ARE the worse ever, they never show up they take forever to show up. When a shop calls to let company know the status, the shop is on hold forever to connect, then they get some with does not understand or speak English clearly and it is a BS back and forth lack of communication on the company's part. Car Shield has actresses and actors lying about what Car Shield can do and does do! Car Shield is the worst outside extended warranty coverage. Can't find a shop that wants to deal with car shield. Awful services.

  I recently purchased a new vehicle, I called carshield to cancel and the first perso hung up on me, the 2nd one put me on hold and never came back, the 3rd person told me they were closed till the next day. All of this happened as soon as I told them I need to cancel my contract. I have heard terrible stories about carshield and this could be my confirmation of how true they are.

  After 31 days without my *** they have rejected my claim. Took 31 days and one inspector to decide this. The reason is I have a homemade bed and cabinets in it. They say I converted it into a RV. I use it to sleep in on fishing trips. At 66 Im retired and I guess I should not use my *** for this. They look for any reason to reject a claim and I guess I gave them one. They are great on the phone but will go to great lengths to keep from paying. Your better off putting your money into a savings account and not theres.
