This company is a ripoff, I had the plan for 2 of my cars for almost 2years, they took money directly out of my account with no complaints, then i need work on one of the cars, carshield told me to sign a consent for the mechanic to pieces the engine, then carshield will send an adjuster to go and look at the parts to check for any abuse to determine if they will pay for repair or not, and if they find nothing, It will have to be me that pays $3000.00 to put the parts back together. What foolishness, so I asked back for all the money I paid over the years so I can use it to fix my car, they refused. I'm now trying to wait for class action lawsuit cause I know this is not their only offense. Please text me for lawsuit at **** **** * *** **** *****CarShield

I would not recommend carshield to anyone they seemed like a very stand up company until I actually had to use them. I end up going to a couple different facilities before taking my vehicle to a company that could fix my vehicle. When my claim finally was on the right track I had to provide findings from other facilities and all my maintenance receipts which was not a problem I told them as well as paperwork backed up it was the pulley. 7 months later they had me still paying on my contract, spending $255 on a rental car a week out of pocket. Then requested for the facility to break down my engine. A month later after the facility spent hrs days at a time communicating with them requested pictures and an estimate. A week later they requested an estimate for a water pump which had nothing to do with the claim only to then deny it and cost extra money because of an unprofessional call on there part it was said it was a pulley in the 1st place. So in all it's a scam a company that will give you the runaround unethical and worse than a medicine company that sell all the good things about their products but in the end the side effect is worse than what u actually got the stuff for. This company is full of c*** and 1 star is giving way to much credit so I requested all the paperwork the reason for the denial records from the facility and found someone to look into things. I have asked for a supervisor to call for a week straight with nothing. I am highly disappointed out of unnecessary money but when it's not they money I guess it doesn't matter smh.CarShield

The engine is definitely a covered component. All other issues was noted as far as the pulley before asking for my engine to be tore down costing extra money. $255 a week for a rental. This contract and what is portrayed on these commercials endorsed by big names is to give piece of mind and ensure sanity in case of a breakdown. This company is worse than medicine companies that sell everything good about a product and then list by taking this you gonna end up messed up anywayS. B.

When the facility got my vehicle they replaced the computer because my key wouldn't work anymore. Next the engine was the problem and the pulley had broke off the engine was shot and they let the repair facility know it needed to be replaced they was told from me and past paperwork from the receipt from the facility that the pulley was broke and my engine was damaged. They had my vehicle for several months. Had my engine tore down. Had the facility send pictures and a Estimate. Then asked for an Estimate of the water pump which was never NOTED as needed part. Then denied the claim. The pulley broke off and fired inward towards the engine which damaged the engine so the engine is what the claim is about and the claim the repair facility reported to the warranty companyReview fromArvella B

***** I had CarShield for three years. I took my car to the dealership in July 2022 for a oil change and was told I needed a air condenser and radiator. I called CarShield to make sure it was covered . I was told that it was so I told the dealership to go ahead and fix it. For six months I was back and forth with them and the dealership. They sent the condenser to the dealership and it cost ****** CarShield only paid *****. They didnt send the radiator so the dealership had to get one because they said they couldnt find one. Six months later I gets a bill for ******* and CarShield only paid ****** of that and told me that I am held accountable for the rest of it which was ******. Please dont listen to those commercials thats being aired they are getting paid to tell people lies. I will be canceling my subscription.CarShield

i forgot to add- Its ok for car shield to take their time and have your car in the shop for over 3 months only approving 2 days for a rental @$40, but miss a payment and they are calling you everything single day. lolCarShield

Car Shield is a terrible company that does not deliver on any of its promises or services. Twice I have had claims submitted and in both instances I was made to jump through hoops and red tape that delayed the process. Then when they claimed to have sent the part, both times the part took over 5 weeks to be delivered. Yet, they kept saying it would be delivered in 5 days. Totally unacceptable. Why ******** paying over $100 a month and when I need the service, I get the run around? Car Shield is absolutely not what they claim to be. Run as far away from this so called business as you can.CarShield

People, please be very careful. They just want your money, they involve YOU and when making your claim, they don't want to help YOU. It happened to me, I had been paying for almost 3 years. At this time, and it turns out that it didn't cover me. Nothing, nothing. and I claimed my money. Because they didn't help me and they gave me A KICK. And I've already lost everything and apart from not all the companies that they say is a lie, almost no one wants to work with them. Many requisitions at the time of your claim. I'm not happy. I wasted my money, my time, and my broken car and who defends us from this. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH CAR SHIELD. THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY. I WAS ROBBED. A BALL OF TICKETS WITH WHITE COLLAR. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I gave Car Shield one star because you cannot enter zero stars. I found their business practices to be deceptive at best and quite possibly fraudulent at worst. They simply make big promises, collect their premiums monthly and then avoid paying claims. My dealer told me that my experience is consistent with theirs. They routinely tell customers who wish to submit a claim to not expect much and they have only rarely successfully filed a claim on behalf of their customers.CarShield

I have been with CarShield for approximately 3 years. Over the course of the 3 yrs I've needed my 2014 *** serviced. From transmission, computer, tie rods etc pricing I've paid out of pocket for the services ********. Car shield has covered absolutely nothing. Called by *** services not covered. Called by my mechanic 3 times services not covered. I have the Gold package at ****** monthly. What exactly am I paying for. Their contract is not worth the paper it's written on. Would not recommend CarShield to anyone. They are a complete ripoffCarShield
