    Everything was great. Prompt arrival and very courteous and friendly installers. They were precise and professional and wasted no effort. The installation went smoothly. The windows are high quality and look great. Once installed I was shown how to work them. The patio door is also great. I highly recommend Universal to anyone.

    Showed up in timely manner and windows look great. My only complaint is I have to finish wood trim around four windows myself because all they had was white and I have wood walls and my inside color of windows was tan. Just seems like they should carry all kinds of trim, wood, white and tan just to cover all bases. Now I have to go buy wood trim and finish the job.

    We had our front windows installed a couple of years ago using Universal Windows Direct of St. Louis. We were so happy with the results, we decided to have them replace our back windows. This experience has been a total 180 of the experience we had before. When the installers came out in May, they told us that they did not have enough trim to finish the windows. We have 5 windows waiting to be finished. We were told they had no idea when the rest of the trim would be in. We went ahead and paid the balance we owed even though they were not finished. Finally, we got a call late July and said they wanted to come out in August to do the finish the trim, supposedly. We scheduled our time. The installers came out, except they had paperwork to install a basement window!! They had no trim with them. They thought the install was for a basement window. It is almost comical. The installers were really nice and took pictures of the unfinished windows and was going to report it back to the company. I also called, a really nice person took the time to look up my order and said they had picked up the wrong items. I am not sure what went wrong where. The person I talked to said that somone from the service department would call me back. It must not be a priority for them because they never called back. I called around 10:00 and here is it 4:00. I am thinking are they coming back out with the trim, are they going to reschedule? Do I just sit and waste my day waiting for them? This is Universal Windows mistake. Don't they care about their customers? What happened to good customer service. I called back again since I hadn't heard anything and the person I talked to said it be 48 hours I think before I hear back. I don't know, I think messing up a order is a pretty big deal. I would want to rectify that right away. But since they got my money now, they just don't care.

    Its been over 48 hours and we have not heard back from anyone. We called the office today and was told a message would be left with the operations manager but they never called back.
