After hearing promotional ads on tv and radio, I decided to reach out to *** for a quote for six window replacements. It started off great for calling and returning calls to schedule an appt. and one was set for 9/7/24. The rep. ****** came out was really good. She was pleasant, respectful, and considerate of my needs. I told ***** I would consider the quote and decide by 9/9. On 9/9, I delivered the news that I would need to wait for the replacements because of the expense. ***** asked that I keep her in mind for a future time. On 9/11, I received a call from a guy representing *** who works with the project managers (PM) there. He stated that PM can sometimes offer specials and rebates that can help make projects more affordable. He asked me if a PM could discuss available options with me. I agreed and a call was scheduled for Thu evening on 9/12. The *** ****, called as promised and we had a good discussion about the project and pricing, I asked **** to get back with me on Mon 9/16 at 7 PM and he agreed. At this point, I was ready to close the deal and waited for ****** call. He NEVER called me back even after I left VM msgs. for him on 9/23 and 9/30. I contacted ***** on 9/30 and explained the situation. ***** apologized and stated she would speak with her mgr. and give me a call back. I have NEVER heard back from ***** or her mgr. By this time, I feel very disrespected, and on 10/22, I called UWD's main line and explained the situation to the ***. She informed me that a sales mgr. **** will call me back soon. Again NO call received. My conclusion is that I have been "ghosted" and I do not know why. In all my years dealing with businesses, this is the first time that something like this has ever happened. I am clueless about ***'s behavior. I am sure there are others who will take the job. I don't usually write this type of complaint, but thought I should as a warning to other potential customers.Universal Windows Direct of St. Louis

absolutely TERRIBLE service after the sale. i replaced all 26 windows in my ********* slider. I paid over 40k. the windows took 2 months to get install set up. i was told 4-6 weeks. after the slider was installed, i was told it came with the wrong parts so i was unable to lock my door. 3 installers now also know that my home doesn't lock and know every square inch of my house and what i own because they have installed windows in every single room. installers put in the work order for the correct parts and said it would be a week or so to get them corrected. one WEEK of not locking my house up. After a week and no correspondence, i reached out to my sales person. i got a call back from **** and he said he would have someone reach back out to me to get the service call taken care of. at that time i told **** that we missed one basement window when he placed our order and that I wanted to order the other window so ALL of my windows were new. He told me June 21st that it would be "around $500" because he should be able to honor the same coupon when i purchased the other 26 windows in April. He was to call me back the following day to place the order over the phone. i never heard back from ****. I reached out repeatedly through ************* & even had the service tech that came for the sliding door repair put in a note about ordering my other window. after months of reaching out to ****, i FINALLY got an email back from him in Sept letting me know the window was going to be 1400. When questioned about it, he asked if I had it "in writing" that he said that. of course I did not because I took him at his word on the phone . needless to say, i did NOT order the window. It is a slap in the face after spending the amount of money that i did to get that kind of customer service. I should not have to beg a company to sell me a window. But i guess in this case they had already replaced all the windows in my home except one so why bother with customer service.Universal Windows Direct of St. Louis

Outstanding ***************************** and Installation of our new windows. What a difference they make. Our installer was very knowledgeable and well versed in removing and installing our windows. The installer cleaned up after each window was replaced and left no trash outside. The salesman was very knowledgeable as well when he visited our home. He explained and demonstrated how the new windows would work and the warranty that comes with the new windows. This morning we had a wonderful experience with getting our windows installed. ************************ and ****** came on time, installed the windows in just under 4 hours AND it was 12 windows total!!!
