    Was offered a $500 discount package through Porch. My initial discussion with Jesse (some sort of manager) left me with an unpleasant feeling. After asking some pointed questions about Z Wave technology (as I was previously unaware of the technology) rather that being patient and helpful with a potential client, he became short and condescending with me and actually told me to go to the web site and learn more about the system so I wouldn't waste his time, then call him back. THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN!

    The door-to-door sales rep used scare tactics to convince us we needed a security system followed by a one-time deal that expired as soon as he walked away. We reviewed the company on Google and the rating was decent so we decided to proceed. Everything since then has been a horrendous experience. Our install tech told us that his idol was The Nightstalker and that he used the dark web to get an autographed picture from him, which is his prized possession. When we reported this to our sales rep he did mention we have a 3-day window to cancel if we wanted. We felt the security system was needed after that. A couple of months later of using the system we have had multiple mis-triggers, the features we were sold on do not function properly, and the service techs have admitted to these features not working well and that they are not serviceable. Since the system is not operating properly I have tried to trigger the clause in our contract that allows us to void the contract due to a nonoperating system. I have been on the phone with Customer Service and the Service Techs, going up to the Regional Director, for countless hours. They are claiming the system is operating properly even though they admit to the features not working appropriately. I have allowed the Techs to work on the system only to exacerbate more issues. There have been multiple occasions I reached out to Customer Service and am promised callbacks from Management, who never reach out. The company will not let me out of this contract as if I’m trying to strip their baby away from them in a custody battle. I have gone to the extent where I have the bank involved and they’re protecting me against Safe Haven. I would advise anyone interested in Safe Haven to reconsider. If you want ADT as your provider I’d recommend working with them directly as they seem to be more helpful.

    Deceptive Practices and Illegal Credit Checks - AVOID Safe Haven Security Services LLC! I am deeply disappointed and outraged by my experience with Safe Haven Security Services LLC. This company engages in deceptive and illegal business practices that violate consumer rights and federal law. Unauthorized Credit Check: I explicitly asked if providing my social security number would result in a credit check. I was assured multiple times that it was solely for identity verification in case of an alarm trigger. Despite this, a credit check was performed without my consent, which is a clear violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Misrepresentation and Manipulation: I feel that I was manipulated into providing my personal information under false pretenses. This kind of deceptive practice is not only unethical but also illegal. Systemic Deception: The situation is aggravated by the fact that a branch manager was present during this incident, training a new employee in these deceitful practices. This strongly suggests that such actions are not isolated incidents but part of a broader, systemic issue within Safe Haven Security Services LLC. Violation of Privacy Rights: I have formally exercised all my privacy rights as outlined in their Privacy Policy and state laws, demanding disclosure, deletion, and correction of my personal information. I have also requested that they cease using or selling my information for targeted advertising. The company's handling of my personal information is highly concerning and indicative of their disregard for privacy laws. Safe Haven Security Services LLC has demonstrated a blatant disregard for consumer rights and federal law. Their deceptive practices and systemic dishonesty are unacceptable. I urge potential customers to avoid this company at all costs and to seek security services from more reputable and ethical providers. Safe Haven Security Services LLC should be held accountable for their illegal and unethical actions.

    I am an upset customer who felt taken advantage of. I explained this to the head Manager Tech and he told me he trains his people not to do such thing!!! LIES!!!! I’ve never hated a company so much in my life. Scammers !

    This company overcharges and locks you into a 3-year contract without warning you that you are responsible for paying 75% of the last third year if you cancel early. They claimed they were part of the package of my brand new, newly built house and we asked me out of thousands of dollars. The Skybell they installed in my brand new home 1.5 years ago is already obsolete and broken and they won’t replace it. Even before it broke the video was very poor quality and really not helpful. Whenever I wasn’t home if someone rang the doorbell it NEVER connected to the cellphone app. The cellphone app sometimes tells me I’ve left the door unlocked but when I check the door it’s actually locked. This company is a con AVOID

    Horrid customer service- safe haven came with our home and they take your complaint and will “ call you back.” They give you 24 hour window and most of us are not at our homes when they call back. It’s just ridiculous. I could not lock my door and the code stopped working and you couldn’t even get through to them.

    Absolute garbage app rendering it useless for a few $K in hardware plus monthly monitoring. The app is glitchy. Most service companies have some sort of satisfaction guarantee but NOPE. You’re locked in. Now we’re locked in for 36 months. I’m livid. I understand contractual obligations but any ethical business should at least have a satisfaction guarantee or trial window. It’s absurd this company is still in business given the large # of 1 stars. If you look on Google, it SAYS 4.8 stars which I went off of as a buyer….. but looking closely by date it’s single star after single star. DONT BUY THIS SYSTEM.

    If o could give this company no stars I would. Their representative came to my home unsolicited and sold me a 3 year contract with ADT and made me sign an egregious agreement which locks me in for 3 years. I called to adjust the contract and reduce some features and they flatly refused. They did not mention contract duration of 3 years and did not mention at all that there would be $1300 cancellation fee. I had thought and informed I was signing 1 year contract not 3. I contacted and informed them that they're representative was dishonest and refused to negotiate. This company needs to be deregistered as an honest business.

    Absolute nightmare to deal with. The whole management team is a joke and the whole company is disgusting. They are absolute scam artists and I thank god that I never bought from them. Horrible pushy sales reps and absolutely HORRIBLE and UNETHICAL sales tactics.

    I purchased a DR Horton home, which included the smart package with a three-year contract. The contract time has expired. Safe Haven sales representative Chance has been calling me non-stop. I finally answered. He asked if I had received any of his many emails. I said, What is this call about? He goes on to explain the options for the Home Connected System and ADT Security. He let me know that I had until the end of 7/3/24 to decide, and he will waive the $99 activation fee on the upgrade package, but you only have until 5 p.m. today since tomorrow is the 4th of July and I’ll be at the lake. On Monday morning, he calls three times back-to-back. Later that afternoon, I let him know that I would not be signing up for their services and requested that he release my IQ panel from Alarm.com so I could register the serial number and self-monitor my smart home system. Now, all of a sudden, I am not getting a returned call or email reply. Safe Haven was the contractor charged with setting up the smart home features, so they would need to release the IQ panel from Alarm.com. They have refused to release the IQ panel. Unregister my panel!
